About this house rental
As you enter this incredibly cozy home, you'll immediately feel welcomed and at home. Gorgeous hardwood floors shine throughout this entire home. The living room has more than seating to accommodate all of your guests for movies after dinner. Gather around the large dining table set for 10 to play some evening cards or maybe challenge a friend to a game of pool. In the kitchen, the gleaming stainless steel appliances, pristine white cabinets, and dramatic patterned backsplash will tempt the family chef into creating culinary delights to share with the group. That's easy to do here with abundant counter space and plenty of storage for all your groceries and goodies. When you can't stay awake any longer, you'll have the choice of 5 spacious bedrooms to choose from. On the main level, there's a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and 1 bedroom boasting a plush Queen-size bed. On the second level, there are an additional 4 bedrooms, sleeping a total of 14 guests. Configuration is as follows: Bedroom 2 - 1 King bed w/ensuite bathroom Bedroom 3 - 1 Queen bed Bedroom 4 - 2 Queen beds Bedroom 5 - 1 Queen bed, 1 Futon bed Shared among the 3 Queen rooms is the remaining bathroom. The master bathroom has a tub and a separate shower. The other 2 bathrooms have shower/tub combos. All bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and plenty of plush towels. For our guests' convenience, we also provide a full-size washer and dryer, as well as a highchair and pack-n-play. We look forward to hosting you and your family! This is a good property to stay in for a stay in St. Louis. This is our second time staying at this location - only recommendation is the kitchen could be more fully stocked so it is more easy to cook and serve meals.

Great house space and layout. House was very clean, kitchen well stocked for our family of 9. Plenty of towels, blankets, toilet paper and all things needed for a pleasant stay. Location is awesome for visits to the Loop and Forest Park and all the wonderful things to do nearby. Quiet neighborhood and very walkable. Very responsive management, helpful and timely answers to our questions. A great find!

We stayed at this house 5 days while in STL for our daughter's wedding. 8 of us, with ages ranging from 83 to 9 and plenty of space for everyone. Perfect for gathering with folks as they came into town, assembling wedding favors and bridesmaids getting ready the day of the wedding. Good neighborhood. Quiet at night. Grateful for the 2 parking spots off the alley, as there are many cars that park on the street. That being said, everyone that came to the house was always able to find a parking spot somewhere along the block. We loved our time at this house and glad we got to make some last family memories there! We only had one question the entire time and it was answered quickly. We definitely will us JZ Vacation with our STL stays in the future.

The property was a great size and location for the 5 of us. We had plenty of space to relax, play games and have some meals. It was close to bars and restaurants and the location was three blocks from the park, which was perfect for walks. We found some food/cereal and snack remnants on the floor when we arrived, but aside from that, the place seemed clean. Just a quick side note, there is buildup or something in the waterline to the fridge. The ice maker was barely making ice and the water in the door was just dripping. We were close to walgreens and were able to get water and ice easily, but something to check in to from a maintenence perspective.

Nicely located and remodeled duplex with a number of thoughtful details. Large common area allows comfortable, size appropriate gatherings. Be aware three bathrooms (one en-suite) for a full house is problematic. Kitchen is inadequately equipped for 14 people for any length of time. That said, we would gladly return again.

Our family members (4 adult children and two parents) gathered from across the US to attend a baby shower, in St. Louis, for our son/ brother and daughter-in-law/ sister- in- law. We enjoyed having the comfort of this lovely two story home to gather and to prepare ourselves to attend the shower in nearby Webster Grove. It was a very enjoyable weekend and we were very happy to have a large kitchen and great room in which to relax and catch- up with one another. Thank you for making this available to us. We would love to return an regather when the new baby arrives!

We had 5 different families staying here including 2 infants. The space was perfect! We enjoyed the closeness to Kaldi, Walgreen’s, etc. We spent most days at my daughter’s house nearby.
Although JZ Properties communicated quickly, the strobing bedroom light was never fixed.

Our 3 families from out of state met for a long weekend in St. Louis. This home was the perfect choice! Very clean, huge open main floor; a table that all 12 of us could fit around; and so close to Forest Park. We look forward to booking this location again!

This house provided a great space for a family gathering. The downstairs open layout meant that folks in the kitchen could be part of the conversations in the living room, which was the reason we chose this property for our gathering. I would recommend this property on that feature alone.
The kitchen was spacious, but woefully underequipped. When we inquired beforehand about the supply of large pots and pans, the response was “we could bring our own”, (which we did, plus we purchased more after arrival). For a property that is supposed to house large groups, it was very disappointing to find only a couple small scratched Teflon skillets and some cookie sheets. Supplies (toilet paper and dishwasher soap) were understocked for a large group staying for a week. Requests for more supplies were not granted.
The back yard is pleasant, and the weather during our stay was fabulous. Some outdoor furniture would have made it possible to gather out there. Access to the back yard is through the downstairs bedroom.
Communication with the management company was somewhat slow. It would have been helpful if there was a binder at the house giving guests basic instructions on things such as tv access, garage door codes, etc. rather than having to wait for text message responses from the property managers.
All in all, our family had a great time at this property, and with a few changes, the managers could make this place better for large groups. I would definitely recommend this property to others if the supply issues were corrected.

The TV in a bedroom did not work. The kitchen was not clean. Barbecue sauce still stuck on counter and cabinet handle. Alcohol left in freezer

This house is spacious and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable, the showers had good water pressure, and everything was clean. The kitchen had plenty of supplies for us to cook meals in the house, and they even supplied some snacks and coffee.
We easily found parking in front of the house. It is located just across from Forest Park, which is the location of the zoo and both an art and a science museum. It appeared to be a very safe and walkable neighborhood, and is just a short drive to downtown. The pool table is small and a little unstable, but the kids still had fun with it.

When we checked in we saw that the back door and surrounding area had significant damage with fallen plaster, gaping hole's between the door and wall and mold. I reached out to the management team 2 days in a row with no response. I also reached out to VRBO with no response yet. We had 4 children in our group and I told the individuals at the management company that this presented a danger to the children. No response at all. Meanwhile, we had a group of 8 with no place to go. Beyond this issue, we never received a guide from management so we weren't sure where things were and what the processes were, in fact there were no printed materials available with property directions.. The faucet in the kitchen was broken when we arrived, the kitchen was truly minimally stocked, and only 2 dish towels were provided. The AC unit only worked upstairs and sounded like an airport. The bedroom on the first floor was very stuffy and had crickets in it due to the door issue. Overall very disappointing and hazardous.

We come to St. Louis often for Cardinal games and have always stayed downtown at a hotel for walking ease to the park. This was our first trip with three grandkids and we wanted to be able to still visit during nap times or earlier bedtimes. This house met the mark. Definitely big enough to have the room we needed for 6 adults and 3 kiddos. Kitchen was well stocked. The only reason for thr 4 on check-in was that when we arrived, the keyless entry code didn’t work. We arrived late in the evening so I called the after hours number. I did get a call back and we were in the house about 30 min after arrival. They came the next day to change the batteries and we didn’t have issues coming and going after that. Note to those driving a full size pickup, just park out front. You will be too long for the car port parking.
We will rent from JZ properties again.

Great Stay and Great Location
Our family enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and was the perfect size for our bigger family. The location was within walking distance to the Loop. The property manager was quickly responsive to any questions we had while staying there.

Plenty of room for a family get together, ideal location to enjoy the best of St Louis. Open concept allows for easy gathering in kitchen and family room for everyone to be together! Comfortable bedroom sizes, pool table adds to the fun!

Excellent Location.
This property is perfect for a large group that likes to have some space. The are 4 total bedrooms and 2 full baths plus a work space with a futon. The unit is fully updated brownstone (ish) property that is located a few blocks off Del Mar street. If you are in town for a show at The Pageant, this should be high on your list for places to stay. It’s completely walkable to the venue and all the restaurants and bars in the area. Would highly recommend this property.

Fantastic Space with a Few Hiccups
This is a wonderful place for large groups. The openness of the downstairs living area and adjoining kitchen provided a great space for our group to hang out together, and there was plenty of space upstairs for everyone to spread out. The location was incredibly close to a lot of areas we planned to visit, and the surrounding neighborhood was quaint and pleasant. We only ran into a couple hiccups. First, in the pre-arrival emails we received two different door codes, and neither worked upon our arrival, meaning we had to wait outside the house for an hour for a kind maintenance man to come & reset the codes so that we could enter. Second, the chairs around the dining room table are not going to last. One was already tucked away in a side office with broken legs, and another was close behind it. This was disappointing, as the large table for our group of 10 was a big factor in booking.
Even with those couple issues, I'd highly recommend this property. It's far cheaper than a majority of other large STL rental properties, and the location and layout of the interior is tough to beat.

The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and we had great communication from the agent the whole time. We flew in during a terrible snowstorm and the house was great for riding out the weather and then walking to many of the locations we needed to get to.

Good stay at this lovely home. Only recommendations are some supportive condiments such as salt and pepper etc so cooking is easy to do.

Great stay with a few hiccups
The property was as advertised. It was very clean and spacious. The maintenance supervisor responded promptly when we had minor issues to resolve. I suggested that the owner upgrade the bedroom furniture. The quality was subpar. I would stay here again.
