Lake Therapy House is one of the best locations in South Haven!! ONE block from the beach, ONE block from Kids' Corner (large playground area with large play set and ball field), and an 8 minute walk to downtown South Haven's fabulous restaurants and shopping. The house is a light and bright 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom, home with a well stocked modern kitchen with all the amenities, open concept first floor with dining, and living area. Central air throughout for those hot summer days. There are also two decks, one in front and a big deck out back. The large back yard has a fire pit, grill, outdoor shower, and horseshoe area. Plenty of room for guests of all ages! We provide beach towels, beach chairs, toiletries, games including Play Station 4, sand toys, and anything else we can think of to make your stay as easy as possible! We can't say enough awesome things about Tracey's home. It was perfect for our 2 family get away (4 total adults, 4 total kids) week, plus we were easily able to accommodate day guests as well.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when you pay $$$ for a rental for a week that is clearly designed for a family and they give you 2 rolls of TP and one diswasher pack. Not so here! Tracey has the entire house beautifully stocked with brand name soap, Tide, napkins, paper products, beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs -- they even have their own personalized Yetis! The entire home is so wonderfully decorated, but it doesn't feel like somewhere that is SO pristine you can't just put your feet up and relax. Both kids and adults loved it, and the fenced backyard is incredible -- there's a deck with a grill, an awesome bonfire pit (they even included firewood!) and my kids adored the rope hammock swing and spare bikes in the shed.
I had a few questions beforehand and Tracey was extremely prompt in answering them -- her communication was top notch. This place was amazing -- Tracey, we thank you so very much!

Seven lifelong friends rented this property for a girls weekend. The home had everything you could need. We loved that there were two bedrooms on the first floor, everyone had their own bed and the layout was perfect for visiting comfortably with a group. The lake and shops were walking distance. The owners were very responsive. I would highly recommend this rental for your stay.

The updates to this property are absolutely fabulous. The kitchen is very well equipped and intuitive to use. The open floor plan really fairs well with large groups and this is one of very few places in south haven that provide elegant and adequate seating for everyone to be together. We truly enjoyed our stay. The fire pit in a super spacious yard was such a treat as well. The beds were all VERY comfortable and we tried them all! I highly recommend this property.

We rented the house for our wedding week with our daughters and family. Can't say enough about location, space, cleanliness and attention to detail! There were plenty of beach towels, lots of seating (indoor and out), beach chairs and wagons, just all the things needed to make our trip so special. Beds were super comfy and kitchen/ living space was beautiful! Thank you guys for the Lake Therapy! :)

We had an extended family get together here after a few years apart. This property property provided plenty of room with all the amenities you could ask for. It has an amazing location, just short walks from everything! We made many great memories here,, a very special place!

Beach was so beautiful and close! Home had everything we needed, we really appreciated all the extra touches available for us to use such as beach gear and games. The fire pit was nice to hang out at with comfortable seating. Playground was a fun short walk and we walked to town all the time, we did not even use our car except to go launch our kayaks. Host was very nice/east to get in touch with and we appreciated the last minute booking. Love!! Hoping to come back!

This is our second year renting this property. We loved it last year and the updates/improvements this year made it even better. The owners have perfected what makes a property so desirable. We look forward to our time there next summer and the anticipation for what awaits our arrival then.

Living room big enough to seat 5 kids & 6 adults easily! Outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing sand off! Kids had a wonderful time with the hammock swings! Lake and weather was beautiful! Short walk to town!

Perfect Location in South Haven
Great location, one block from beach, a couple blocks to Kids Corner. House was super-stocked and shed had badminton, outdoor toys, bikes, beach wagon, s’mores stuff. Fenced in yard was great for my children. Outdoor shower came in handy. Owners were responsive to texts.
The upstairs has three bedrooms. One bedroom has a free standing AC unit which cooled that bedroom plus the adjacent bedroom if the door was left open. The third bedroom, while it had a ceiling fan and standing fan, did get warm in the late afternoon. We were able to move kids around to other rooms to sleep that were cooler, so this wasn’t an issue for us as much.

Relaxation at its Best
This property was perfect for our family vacation. There was something for every age. Starting with the house and location to the beach. Every amenity you can think of was available to us at the house. It was so homey. The beach was right at your fingertips where my daughter got her engagement pictures at sunset! Would definitely book with them again!

We had a group of 6 and loved gathering in the family room at night, on the large couch. We used the fire pit each night after coming in from downtown South Haven.. We also appreciated that the house was nicely stocked .. and not cheaply.😊. Thanks for the nice stay!

We loved this VRBO! It was beautiful, clean, very well stocked and in a great location. The entire place is very up to date and the beds were very comfortable! We had 8 people staying there and never felt cramped/on top of one another.

College reunion!
This property was the perfect spot for me and my college friends to meet up. We LOVED how close it was to the beach/downtown. There were tons of beds and the backyard was huge, so we could play yard games and have a fire. The only problem we ran into was ants on the floor and counter, but the owner was responsive to the issue. Thanks for a great stay!

Excellent location with thoughtful amenities like a pull cart to take the included beach chairs and beach towels to Lake Michigan a block or two away.
We were able to cook every night and the fire pit with numerous surrounding seats was a hit.

Close to Beach and Playground
We enjoyed our stay here. Everyone had their own space at night. The kitchen was well equipped. The fire pit out back was fun. We appreciated the use of the beach towels and beach equipment. The adults really enjoyed the fire on the front porch at night. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Exceptional! The ease in walking to everything as well as a superb back yard to stretch out in and let the kids run around in made this a great trip for all. The home was really well-stocked and the kitchen area was easy to work in. It is an older home but the improvements to the home more than made up for it. We would definitely stay here again.! Tracey and Mike were new owners, but could not have been more accommodating .
