The house is absolutely beautiful! We were in town for a volleyball tournament and stayed at the Doe House. It is a very cute, historic mansion with tons of space! Becky was wonderful and very responsive to everything inquiry. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone. Beautiful house and grounds.

I stayed here with close friends the night before my wedding and it was gorgeous! We had so much fun and it was very memorable. They also were kind enough to extend our check out time by an hour. They were super hospitable and if I get the opportunity I would stay again!

My daughter got married this weekend and our family and her new husbands family stayed at the house. It was simple PERFECT!!!! We had so much fun hosting out of town guests before the wedding. The day of the wedding the girls all got ready at the house and picture were done there and it was absolutely stunning. We were relaxed and comfortable and had so much space. A Gem in Oshkosh for sure!!!!!

The Doe house went above and beyond our expectations. The house is updated but still has its historic charm. My husband and I had a small wedding ceremony in the living room and dinner with family. The updated kitchen was perfect for our chief from Prepd. I loved the steam showers as I got ready on my wedding day. Beyond the amazing house, the owner and workers were even more amazing to work with. Super accommodating, quick to respond, and so very helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure we had the wedding of our dreams. From our amazing welcome basket to making up an extra handicapped accessible bed for my grandpa, the team at the Doe House did an awesome job. No amount of thanks will truly represent how appreciative my husband and I are. Our whole family loved it. Will definitely be back.

We recently stayed at this property while attending the EAA Air Adventure Festival in Osh Kosh. We booked this house quickly as it was one of the only left available when we looked and lucked into how amazing it was! From the immediate and on going communication with the owner, who sent several messages with restaurant/activity recommendations prior to our trip, to the amazing manager, Sherry, who was onsite at checkin and extremely helpful during our entire stay - The service was fantastic! Sherry even offered to take a few members of our group to the grocery store on our first day to pick up the couple items we couldn't have delivered! The location was also great - From the Appleton airport it was a short 20-30 minute Uber ride, to get to the festival it was a very quick 5 minute Uber or you can walk a few blocks to catch the bus on the round trip loop to the grounds! It was especially nice to be right off the downtown main street - We were within walking distance to all the amazing shops, markets, bars, and restaurants outside of the festival so it was like getting two vacations in one! We enjoyed the festival during the day and downtown at night. There are so many great options for local restaurants with amazing craft beer, cocktails, cheeses, and entrees. There was even a farmers market on Saturday! The house was extremely clean and well stocked - We even had local fresh chocolates, pastries, beer, milk, and coffee waiting for us upon arrival! We were told by Sherry the house was recently renovated; it was a very nice mix of updated and modern amenities but with a lot of the historical touches still in place. To be honest, given the age of the house I was nervous the house would be a little aged, run down, and musty... But it wasn't, it extremely clean and well appointed! Each of the bedrooms we used had an ensuite bath which was great, only one did not but that didn't matter to our group. The beds were extremely comfortable with high end linens and towels. The rooms were large with a great mix of bath tubs and showers; our master bath even had an amazing steam shower feature that my husband loved! In our group we had two different families with kids aged 6 months and 7 years old, along with adults from their 30's to 50's and this house/location worked out perfectly for all! Overall we loved Osh Kosh, the EAA Air Adventure festival, and this property... We are already booking to return next year!! - The Wendt and George Families

Wow! What a very special treat to have this beautifully restored home available for a vacation rental. From the modern kitchen that will please the most gourmet cook to the steam showers in the gorgeously tiled bathrooms, the owners have modernized their home while keeping the classic feel of a luxury historical house. The preservation of so many original touches - the extremely high ceilings, the beautiful glassed in sunporch, the large windows in every room - you can tell every detail was painstakingly and lovingly restored to it's former glory. Antique furniture accentuates each room and there are beautiful gardens outside - including tomato plants that you can pick yourself and add to your dinner! The beds are so comfortable and the sheets are soft. Two laundry rooms - one on the top floor, adjacent to the bedrooms and one in the basement make staying with a large group for an extended stay very convenient. Lots of little unexpected touches for a rental house, like an umbrella stand at the front door with actual umbrellas for you to use if it rains and a grand piano in the living room for sing a longs! Lots of parking available in the driveway. The Carriage House/garage is under renovation now but it will have 2 spaces and plug ins for electric cars! Great location to downtown Oshkosh - 2 blocks to great restaurants and cute boutiques. A quick walk to Leach Amphitheater on the Fox River. Waterfest was going one night when we were there, we could hear the music from the front porch (but not inside the house, so it was not bothersome). There are beautiful walking trails - The Riverwalk and the Wiouwash Trail - and Menominee Park and Lake Winnebago are just 5 blocks away. We are already planning another get together at the Doe House next summer, we can't wait to go back! Thank you, Rebecca, for opening up this amazing home to us, it is breathtaking!

The hostess reached out to me so I went ahead with this one. WOW!! I AM SO THANKFUL WE DID! We had THE BEST experience and LOVED THIS HOUSE! We had plenty of space and everything was so clean and comfortable!! The house hostess was extremely accommodating and we were welcomed with open arms! We slept so well and we had all the amenities we could ask for! We were pulling a trailer and had space to park and easy access to EAA. The property is walking distance to shops and the adorable Wagner market! We have definitely found our Oshkosh home And look forward to many future adventures!
