About this condo rental
Enjoy a ground floor 1 bedroom that has been completely renovated throughout and very tastefully decorated with a Mediterranean theme . It has a pull out couch that can accomodate 2 more if needed , and an extra comfy cot if you would rather not share the pull out . Everything in the unit is new and updated to the highest quality . It is literally just steps from the ocean with the most amazing view of the Atlantic where you can watch dolphins play, surfers surf , enjoy fishing right out front or even watch shrimp boats in the morning while you have your coffee on the deck. It has high quality stainless appliances , new luxury vinyl plank throughout, new washer/dryer, and high speed internet. TVs are in the bedroom as well as living room and equipped with netflix, hulu and cable. This is a ground floor that will allow you to go in and out with ease as well as offer the most incredible views around !!I just happily bought a large Shibumi Shade Tent for my guests to enjoy. Also enjoy the views on the deck while sitting in your directors chairs with a matching table to enjoy your meals or drinks overlooking the ocean and just relaxing . There is also an additional couch and seating to either push together to lay down on or enough seats for 5 separately . There is a tennis court and basketball court to enjoy , and designated grilling areas . Topsail Beach and Surf City Towns are minutes away by car , and Historic Downtown Wilmington , and The International Airport are 30 / 40 min away . Parking is right next to entrance. You will have a smart lock on the door for self check in with your personal code .Across the street you will have a small grocery store packed with all the necessities you will need and the new and improved TIki Bar across is also across the street next to the country store. You can relax with a beer or drink if you prefer , catch the great food truck with delicious food, and many other activities on various days and times. Check out the North End Tiki Bar Website for the most up to date info with dates and times.. The Tiki Bar offers live music from Thursday to Saturday for you to enjoy as well! This was our anniversary getaway unfortunately we had a tropical storm come in for our first days but our last day was picture perfect. Would love to come back again.

We absolutely loved our location and the host. When we arrived we were notified that the air conditioner had broke. Being that we had a 2 1/2 yr old with some special needs we were a little concerned at first. Our host went above and beyond to get it fixed and get another unit in as soon as possible. In the meantime she made sure we had fans and a standing air conditioning unit for the bedroom which helped keep the room cool for our toddler! We loved the proximity to the ocean, we could have not been any closer. The condo was very clean and there was many items already there for our use! We had what we needed for make dinner for multiple nights after a quick stop at the local grocery store! Demi was very accommodating during our whole stay and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way! It was very reassuring knowing that she was 100 percent devoted to making sure we had the best possible stay. We stayed there with my husband and I and our 10yr old and 2 1/2 yr old. We did have to move some items in the bedroom to get a pack n play to fit for our son but was able to do it and fit comfortably! We would stay again for sure and can’t wait to make another trip back to topsail! We loved our location and our host made our trip even more enjoyable! 5 stars all the way around!

We were told at 12:30 that the AC was broken but a window unit would be delivered. At 8 PM this was still not resolve so we canceled and moved to a hotel.

This property was perfect for us…just steps from the quiet, clean relaxing beach. The condo is small but perfect for a couple. The host was superb!! She occasionally checked in to make sure everything was fine and also made excellent restaurant recommendations. This was our first trip to Topsail and most enjoyable…we will be back!

The place was just like described and it was beautiful. It is literally ON the beach. During high tide you step in the water when you come off the steps of the building!! A hurricane/tropical storm had just been through and Demie was unaware that the unit hadn’t been fully cleaned but once I made her aware, she was willing to compensate me. It was great to spend all morning on the beach and be so close to go make lunch and come back and eat on the beach. It was very relaxing and the sand was great for sandcastles.
I will say though, the sofa/futon is not very comfortable and having to keep the outdoor furniture inside takes up a lot of room when you have 4 people in there. However, all that said we would stay there again and hopefully furniture would be beautiful and livable, not just beautiful. 😊

We enjoyed staying at Demie’s unit this week! This is our 4th trip to Topsail, the first without kids so this little haven was perfect for us. Demie was very communicative and happy to help in any situation. The deck opened up in the middle of our visit (out of Demie’s control) and we were able to really enjoy sitting and listening to the tides coming in and out. The shibumi shade was great for everyday on the beach and on the couple days where the wind was low, she had 2 umbrellas available. This unit is unique in that there is a full size washer/dryer which was great to wash beach towels. If I had to give a couple suggestions I would suggest a couch that maybe is a little more comfy for evening tv watching and something with a fabric not so delicate. We ended putting a bed sheet over it so as not to mess anything up. Also, a lamp in the living room would be nice as the overhead light is pretty bright when you are just hanging out. Also if you are a light sleeper this might pose a problem if there are people in the unit above you. Pretty loud, especially if those people are late nighters (nothing reflecting on Demie just observing from our stay). Other than that, I have no issues. Thank you for a great weeks experience!

We can’t say enough positive things about our stay! The location was absolutely perfect for our family with two kids who love the beach! Having access to beach chairs, boogie boards and a shibumi shade tent was such a plus to our stay. The host is extremely accommodating and goes above and beyond to help make your stay wonderful. We can’t wait to go back!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. The condo is really great. It’s a little snug with the owners stuff and our stuff but no biggie.
Pros:
-right on the beach
-first floor so no taking stairs
-quiet
-owner communicates extremely well and super nice
-local eateries nearby
-shibumi beach umbrella (really loved it)
-beach not overcrowded
-WiFi worked for multiple devices
Cons
-the only air conditioner is in the living room so you have to put a fan in the hall to push the air to the bedroom. We typically sleep with the bedroom door closed and this was not an option. The bedroom got very hot with the door closed. ***Owner provided the fan so no need to bring one***
-the HOA is redoing the decks. The HOA is super slow at getting the inspection done on the decks. Our deck was complete but we were unable to use it because the inspection was still pending. There were about 9 condos in our building that could not use the deck because it was waiting on inspection. Very disappointed that we couldn’t use the deck. It was boarded half way up on one side so it was hard to even see out. Owner handled this very well. She seemed just as frustrated as we were that the deck was unusable. Not her fault but she did make it right.

Amazing view and right on the beach. This would have been a perfect getaway, but we were notified on the day of arrival that the balcony would not be accessible. The unit # of the condo was not given to us until I messaged the host. I understand that is not given out for safety reasons, but it should have been provided when the key code was provided . I did have to request a couple times to receive the key code. When we arrived, we discovered that we couldn’t even open the sliding doors and a huge board blocked about 40% of the view. This was really disappointing and why it didn’t get 5 star review. A small refund was given along with a beach tent. I know it was out of the host’s control, but I think we should have been notified sooner as this was an going project dating back into June. Also, not being able to open sliding door was a safety hazard if there had been a fire. The A/C did well for the living area, but the bathroom and bedroom in the back were stuffy and warm. Ceiling fan and an additional floor fan was provided, which made the temperature tolerable. Although beautifully decorated, there was a lot of furniture which made it difficult for all three of us to fit our stuff. I think a little less furniture would help especially when the balcony furniture was moved inside. The BR ceiling/ exhaust fan was not in the best condition and died the last day of our trip. It was eye opening as it was my first VRBO stay. I would come back to Topsail.

We could not of had a better place to stay for our Honeymoon. The place exceeded our expectations snd Demi was very thoughtful and made our stay wonderful! We can thank her enough for her hospitality and the her pkace that we were so fortunate to have for our Honeymoon!

This place is so close to the beach that you don’t need to carry everything! It was our daughters first time at the beach and she enjoyed! She also fell in love the octopus that she had in the room. We did have an issue with the shower but it all work out in the end! We planning to make this a yearly thing with our daughter! Thank you for the memories you help us make on our trip!
Btw for any one curious about the sandbags people may have complained about it not that bad since they are at the build behind you on the beach and not in way of the beach. There is plenty of beach during the day even when it fill high tide. Only time it was an issue when a storm was passing by and cause the tide to take up most the beach. Which will give you an excuse to explore the island.

We had an excellent time while getting away. The condo was very clean, quiet, comfortable and right on the beach! Not crowded at all. Had to drive for restaurants but we knew that! The owner was Fantastic in responding and we had absolutely zero issues! Loved our time here and if ever back in the area we will stay here again and again! Absolutely loved the splash of Christian decor! Made us feel safe and at home!

I loved everything about this property with very few exceptions. The property management was very helpful and responsive. The only issue was that we were given less than half a roll of toilet paper and the couch/futon was less than comfortable. The bed was perfect, the location superb, the apartment beautifully decorated.

Location, location, location!!! Everything we needed was available. The only negatives are the very uncomfortable couch and bed. The bed has a plastic zip cover that did not fit the bed directly under the sheets and they were one size too big. I wpuld

After the 11 hour drive (should have been 10 but standstill for an hour) from Ohio, this was a little slice of paradise. The proximity to the beach is awesome and nothing like the amazing sounds of the ocean whenever the patio door was opened.
Brought some coffee out to the beach and saw the sunrise, and even saw the dolphins shortly afterward!

I reserved this trip for my wife and best friend to escape the kids, dogs, and of course the husbands. They loved it the place was perfect for a get away. They are wanting to make it a every year trip for them, so I'll be reserving the place again for next year.

If you are debating about this property go on and book it! The view is amazing and you will be literally a few steps away from the beach. The host always quickly responded to all my questions. If we come back to Topsail, we would definitely stay here again.

We had so much fun staying at Demie's place. She was thoughtful and kind, leaving just the right things for us (the girl scout cookies were our favorite!). She even thought to have coffwe creamer there! The condo was clean and adorable, everything we needed! Easy instructions for WiFi, TV, etc. And Demie was only a message away! They were replacing the sandbags outside of the condo, (which no one can control and we were absolutely fine) and even the construction workers were polite and friendly. The beach was steps away and we appreciated the chairs too! Sunsets were gorgeous. We absolutely love it and can't wait to come back! Thank you so much!

This place was so perfect. We were in town for just a weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place in October as all the other rentals around are mostly empty and the weather is still very nice. I hope to be able to come back again for a longer visit.

We had a fabulous stay! Topsail Island is a very special place, and the property on which we stayed was great! The amenities were first rate, and the place was spotless. Our hostess, Demie, was very accommodating, and was seemingly always available. I could not give a higher recommendation on the overall experience. 5 Stars!!!

The location in north topsail right on the beach is so nice and peaceful with easy beach access and a more quiet, less touristy location. Just a short drive to Surf City for shopping and food. This unit is perfect for a couple. We did have our young kids with us and they used the futon sofa in the living room which was fine for them. It had everything we needed for a fun weekend trip! Demie is very hospitable and helped us out tremendously when we left one of our bags at the unit. She went out of her way to retrieve it and send it to us. We would definitely recommend her and this unit to anyone wanting to stay in North Topsail.

We really enjoyed the week we spent in a very nice Condo overlooking the beach on North Topsail Island, N.C. The weather was lovely, the water warm, the smell and sounds of the Ocean invigorating to the mind and soul. We met a lot of very warm,friendly people while there. And we enjoyed seeing other parts of the Island and surrounding areas too. And the beach at South Topsail Island was very tranquil too. We recommend exploring the Island for its hidden spots. And we totally enjoyed the rapport we had with our supportive, friendly and helpful VRBO owner.

The rental was very clean, right on the beach, and the neighbors/guests were very friendly. We found 50+ sharks teeth during our stay, the beach was literally steps from the condo and the views/sounds were amazing. The kids & I had a wonderful time.

We had a great time relaxing at this condo. We spent a majority of our time on the beach, which was right outside the condo. It was very easy to return for meals. We had no issues during high tide, and just moved back closer towards the sandbags. Yes, there are sandbags but you don't see them while looking towards the water. The owner was very easy to communicate with, and we look forward to returning.
