The view from the terrace is spectacular and makes the adrenaline rush of the very steep und bumpy gravel road all worth it. The home itself is practical and a bit unadorned but has everything needed for a self-catering vacation. It’s a bit unfortunate that the terrace doesn’t offer any protection from the wind. When the meltemi winds are strong - and they often are in summer - it’s impossible to eat outside as everything’s just blown away.

It would be good to offer some protection from the strong winds on the terrace as that’s valuable space for a rather small apartment.

The view was really fantastic and the apartment was beautiful. I loved the terrace and sitting and looking at the Aegean. Very calming and very serene.

The fact that it was really out of the way, with a pretty treacherous dirt road one had to navigate to get to the property, which was especially difficult at night. I would have liked to have known that ahead of time, as well as to have been prepared that there are no grocery stores nearby or restaurants so as to pick up supplies on my way there from the port. Also, because the host is not on site and neither is any staff, I thought the property should have had certain basic supplies on site, such as extra towels if needed, garbage bags, etc. Our host was very polite and courteous.

Beautiful villa with extraordinary view of the sea (and full moon!) from the living room, kitchen and immense patio. Jerry who attended us was very friendly and courteous and helpful. The villa is very tastefully decorated with plenty of amenities for the kitchen etc. Beach umbrellas, beach ball and XBox for the kids. The location is close to the lovely Silamia beach.

The last bit of road to the property is not asphalted hence one has to go very slowly. But it means less traffic and less people at the beach
