I had an excellent stay at Teakettle Kabin! It’s perfectly cozy and I loved how easy it was to walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Excellent landing spot for visiting Glacier. Would recommend!

The stay was adequate. The customer service was not. We utilized the space for sleeping and showering and were gone outside of those times to a family reunion in the area. I reserved the property on April 2nd for August 9-14 and requested time off from employer after I was able to secure the reservation. My employer granted my time off for August 10th-14th. On April 16th I reached out through the VRBO app and requested to change the reservation for a 8/10 check in rather than 8/9. I did not receive a response.
When I called the property manager, realizing the change had not been approved earlier in the week of the check in to the property, he stated there was no problem as far as checking in a day late. He did not address the issue of not changing or declining the change in reservation when requested on April 16th. I would like to be reimbursed for the night of August 9th.
Thank you.

Tiny home size was expected to be small. Size was not the issue. I had a tough time with the initial oder coming from the home when we stepped in. Kind of musky. Kind of moldy. Kind of dirty scent. We left the door open as long as we could. Luckily there were no mosquitos. The bath mat was wet from the previous user and don’t believe it has been washed or shaken out in quite some time.
Location was good but the train tracks are quarter-mile away and that train runs all night!
I do have to say that the communication with owner was very good: both through text or email.
The area in general is perfect…close to Whitefish, Kalispell, Glacier Nat Park

Location is great! I had a clean and relaxing stay.

The location is awesome for Glacier or other towns around the area. I was gone most of the day exploring Glacier so this was a nice place to come back to for a hot shower and a good nights sleep. The basics are covered plus a little extra. The TV (didn’t need to use it), sound machine, and WiFi access were thoughtful touches. I used the fan function on the AC unit to drown out the train noises and it didn’t wake me up. I’d definitely stay here again!

Super cute place! Cozy for 1 or 2. Very clean and easy to find. It is right next to the train tracks, but because I already have a place by the tracks at home, it didn't bother me at all. There is a white noise machine in the room, to help if you need it. I would stay here again!

Small. Simple. Safe.

Cute tiny house that had everything we needed. There is air conditioning, shower, hotplate cooktop, fridge/freezer, sink, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, sink, bed, and some dishes.
There is a railroad crossing nearby but after the first night we didn't even notice it.
Will definitely stay there again if we are ever back around that area.

Great location for visiting Glacier National Park. Loved sitting on the deck enjoying cool weather after long day enjoying the park. Cozy but doable for two people.

Place was small but adequate. Had a nice clean bathroom. Pretty new! Only problem was hot water supply. Ran out of hot water before done with shower. Suggest shutting off water while soaping up.

Basic indeed, but fir the price they should at least have a TV and a shelf of some kind in bathroom. A “TV tray” would be helpful to use as you as you sit down in the huge comfy chair. Basic condiments like coffee, tea, sugar, creamer would be nice. Had to grocery shop . Parking for motorcycles NOT RECOMMENDED. Gravel on a hill.

The description and reviews were appropriate. It was a great and affordable place to stay while exploring Glacier National Park and the surrounding area.

There is a railroad crossing too close to the house (a block or block and a half away). It is a crossing where the train has to stop to and blow it's horn multiple times before proceeding. This goes on all night.
We had to leave and forfeit our fee for the second night.
If you are used to sleeping in a reasonable amount of quiet, you will regret a decision to stay here.

This is an economical spot for locating near the west entrance to Glacier National Park. I stayed here for 3 nights. The only problem, and it was a big one, was that my stay was during very high summer temps (95-100), and there is no A/C. The host provided a small fan, but with only one small window in the main room and one in the bathroom, and the fan not being a window fan to bring in cooler night air - it was well over 100 degrees inside each evening. It did cool off late at night, but not until about 12pm; until then it was sweltering hot inside. I suggest that a small portable window A/C unit or, at the least, a window fan, be provided, as it is probable that high summer heat is here to stay, even in Montana. Another cooling option is a swamp cooler.
Overall, it was a nice place in Columbia Falls. It is tiny, but that is the idea! The house can fit two people, tops. Lovely, grassy, fenced front yard; plenty of parking. Neighborhood looked a bit sketchy, but it turned out to be safe and rather quiet (aside from the train, though I didn't find the train to be too disturbing, and it is mentioned in the description). The plus on the location is that is is very close to the historic downtown and a major grocery store.
Perhaps the host will consider supplying a hair dryer, as well as
shampoo, bath soap, and dish detergent, as only foaming hand soap is provided.

It is unseasonably hot this summer. It is impossible to set inside until the sun goes down and the coolness of the evening helps bring the indoor temperature down.. Thus would not have put much of a damper on the trip had it not been for the trains that psss by 1 block away several times per night. An A/C unit would allow the windows to be closed and help drown out the train whistle. The Columbia Falls area is beautiful and the residents super friendly.

Nice, clean and compact place. We had the days packed with activities so it was a good place to crash at night. It had all the basic necessities so was pleased with the stay.
Shawn was a great host, he was very responsive to messages and was accommodating in adjusting the change in the number of days.

Place is small. It is right in town and close to everything. The location is about perfect. However...
1. No internet
2. No TV
3. No AC
4. Trains run 24/7 and LOUD!!
The ad mentions internet but I could not find it. It was in the 80's and it stayed HOT all night. They do provide a fan but the unit has 2 small windows so no air can get through the place.
On a positive note, plates and utensils are provided as well as coffee. The fridge is nice and there is a hotplatea nd microwave. The price is right for the area and it was clean. It is a great spot for going to Glacier NP. I knocked it down for the no AC and no Wifi. If you are looking for a basic place, it might work for you.

This "tiny home" is well done. TIny, but clean and efficient. The area around the house is nice. The owner warned that the house is near train tracks. So true! This was quaint during the day, but sleep-depriving at night. This was exacerbated as I had to have windows open due to heatwave. Overall, I was pleased and felt I had value for the price.
