This was a beautiful & spacious home, perfect for our family of 6 along with some visiting family friends who also stayed a few nights. Lots of room & different spaces to hangout for both kids & adults. The home was clean upon arrival. The outside showers were ideal after coming back from our beach days. We appreciated not having to pack beach toys, chairs, & wagon as well. We’d love to come back!

We rented this home to surprise a friend for her 50th birthday. The home is a stunner! The photos depicted the property very accurately, it was spacious and comfortable for our group of 12, with all the amenities we needed for both house and beach. Perfect location, only a few minutes walk to the beach. Not an issue during warmer months, with the 2 outdoor showers, but only 1 shower between the 3 bathrooms (2 have bathtubs with handheld wands) could be problematic in the colder months with a full house.

Calling this place a “cottage” is an understatement. It’s a beautiful home in a gated community, surrounded by trees with a walking trail accessible from the back, and a short walk to a very clean, sandy beach that made us forget we were still in Ontario. We preferred the private beach to the main strip of Grand Bend because with young kids, the proximity, perfect sand and shallow water with gentle waves was much more convenient. We were able to bring food and drinks to enjoy there (though there are no trash cans - everything must be packed up and brought back home, which wasn’t a problem but was a bit unexpected). The house had lots of space both upstairs and downstairs, with fully furnished kitchens and entertaining areas on both floors. We loved the sun room, which also has its own TV and when the doors are closed we were impressed with how soundproof it was. The lower level of the house was on the cooler side, and I was glad I packed some long sleeved pajamas for the kids. The garage was fully stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, floaties, a wagon and even some kids bikes. We really loved the outdoor showers - most of us showered outside for our entire week there. Hisham was very responsive and made some special accommodations for us which we appreciated. During our stay the property manager could be easily reached and was prompt with refilling our toilet paper, paper towels and brought over extra beach towels when we asked. We really loved our stay and already recommended it to some friends. We would be willing to book again in the future. Thanks so much for our great week away!

We really loved our time at Grand Bend. The house is fantastic with lots of space for the family to gather. Although there are 3 bathrooms, only 1 has a shower which is a bit annoying. However, there are 2 fabulous, private outdoor showers. We loved every minute!

Family reunion was perfect at this lovely home.

My family stayed here with some extended family over New Year's (about 5 kids between 6 months and 12 years old + a bunch of adults). The place was great, it's a close walk to the beach and we can see how it would be even more amazing in the summer! Unfortunately the cleaning job done before our stay was not great (and maybe it wasn't done right before we arrived as nobody had stayed there just before us) - there was food splashed around the stove, a lot of dust in the basement, a few little house bugs under the microwave, etc...and we reached out to the owner as the property manager had suggested we let them know especially about the food stains in the kitchen, but never heard back which was a little disappointing. The property manager was very communicative though wasn't necessarily able to help figure a few things out like turning on the gas fireplace in the house - we also reached out to the owner but never heard back. We cleaned the mess and figured out the gas fireplace so were able to resolve those couple of immediate needs, and the rest of the stay was enjoyable. The house is beautiful and really well set up - agree with many of the other comments about wishing for another shower in the house (there were 3 baths and only one had an overhead shower head). Thanks for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful place!

We stayed here with friends (3 families of 4) with 6 kids between us ages 3-8. Our stay was from Aug 29-Sept 4. This home is beautiful and was clean on our arrival. The property manager was such a pleasure to deal with. Pros: - the home itself is beautiful - it was spacious and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably. - the home is well equipped. We had access to what they had in the garage which included beach chairs, a wagon, kids bikes, etc. - home has a sun room which seemed to be soundproof and so the adults could gather there after the kids were asleep without worrying about waking them up - the play structure in the back was a hit with the kids! They played on it every day. - Firepit was great for making smores and hanging out - home was close to the private beach - probably about a 5 in walk when bringing kids and beach gear. - home was a short drive to Grand Bend beach (less than 10 mins) - the beach looked like the Caribbean! We were surprised to see how turquoise the water was. Cons: - the beach was very wavy - almost didn't feel safe for the little ones to go in - but this could just be a coincidence or the time of year we went. Kids still had fun playing in the sand and some of the older kids enjoyed going in and playing in the waves. We found both the private beach and the grand Bend beach to be wavy and windy. - the home does have only one proper shower indoors. There are outdoor showers which we did use to wash off after a day at the beach but it would have been nice to have another proper shower indoors. The two other bathrooms did have a handheld shower wand with the bathtubs but there could be value in adding a shower head to the bathroom in the master bathroom. Overall we had a wonderful time and felt so at home here. We would most definitely considering staying here again!

Extremely beautiful home. Our family had an amazing time. The house had everything you could possibly need. Only issue we had when getting ready with a big family was that the house of three bathrooms only had one actual shower the rest are just bath tubs. Everything else was great.

The location is wonderful, tucked away in a very private forrested area full of narrow roads and many trails perfect for bike rides and our morning walks. It's a 3-4 minute walk to a very private stretch of beach. Worth noting, it was moderately busy in grand bend while we visited, however the beaches near the house were almost empty - a plus if you value escaping large crowds. The house itself is brand new, tastefully decorated with plenty of cottagy nuances. It's set back quite a bit from the road and features a nice rear outdoor space with children's jungle gym, fire pit, plenty of stone patio, outdoor showers and a nice deck with outdoor dining - we enjoyed All of these spaces over the week, our kids especially enjoyed the jungle gym. And the kids play area inside the garage was perfect for activities like coloring and painting. The inside of the house is wonderfully decorated with comfortable and well built furniture , a stunning kitchen and all the appliances you will need and plenty of bedrooms (2 of them had built in bunks, and one of these rooms also had a Murphy bed - these rooms are a dream for big families with plenty of kids ). The house features plenty of storage, a foosball table and a nice lower wet bar with a walk out to the backyard. All-in-All we had a wonderful stay - the only drawback that i can find with the property.is that 2 out of 3 bathrooms only have bathtubs, and 1 has a shower - but full disclosure, It was actually a welcome change soaking in a tub for the first time in years - so depending on your preferences, this may not even be a drawback at all. If your traveling with kids and looking for a family friendly retreat for kids, cousins, aunts and uncles or grand parents - I would highly recommend this home.
