Peaceful location and comfortable accommodation.

A peaceful location in the countryside. Very friendly and helpful host who gave us suggestions of what to see and where to eat in the area. Plenty of extras in the kitchen cupboards and fridge. Very comfortable lounge area. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Large bathroom with hot, powerful shower.

As the accommodation was attached to the main house we could hear some noise of movement and speech but it wasn't intrusive. The wardrobes had a lot of linen and other items stored in them but there was space for our clothing. There were no shelves only hanging space.

very cosy apartment . very quite area. peaceful. amazing to relax, rest and have a good sleep. comfy beds. nice hot shower . owners so kind and always with a smile and very helpful. They left some eggs , bacon , orange juice , coffee pods , some cereals etc very thoughtful of them . little touches that make all the difference! we didn’t want to leave and if at any stage we will be around that area we will definitely stay again. we recommend this place . Thank you Pat and Phill for amazing stay and for make us feel home .

warm and cozy, with plenty of space to hang out for 2. Having milk and tea/coffee available when we arrived was love

We were met by Phil who is a scream. She is very generous, was on hand to show us everything & answer any questions and she's just a lovely woman all round. The unit is huge – it's like having your own house! It has a small conservatory plus a large table in the kitchen, a lovely comfortable sitting room, huge bathroom & comfy bedroom. The wi-fi is great and the heatig, hot water & shower really efficient. The cupboards are full of stuff to eat - you could arrive with nothing and eat for days from them. Milk, Orange juice, coffee pods, tea bags, bread, bacon & egg pastries in the freezer along with some wedges and veggies. We made use of the washing machine & dryer in the separate utility room. There are even a couple of pairs of thongs/flip-flops & slippers. This was our first time using an air dryer & it was great! The unit is an easy distance to charming Kilkeny & make sure you visit the nearby amazing Kells Priory – always open & just down the road.

Our stay could not have been better - a few more days there would have been good!

convenient and quiet location. we enjoyed the outside dining table in the peaceful setting away from the main road. some nice touches by the owner to make the start of our stay a little easier.

Perfect place to explore Kilkenny, Kells and many other sightseeings

Everything we needed was there. Kitchen, livingroom, bathroom, bedroom, even a wonderful sitting area outside with beautiful colorful garden. Peaceful place. Thanks Pat for welcoming us. We had a wonderful stay.

Best accommodation in Kilkenny

This is 2nd time we stayed at this place. It feel like home. Host are super friendly, no disturbance, parking is available, and the place has high standard of cleanliness. Everything is available in that apartment.

Amazing.

Everything was beyond wonderful. Far exceeded my expectations. Hosts were amazing, and the bits in the fridge were a nice touch. The pictures looked nice, but the place in real life was even nicer. Couldn't have had a better time, or recommend it more. Would give 15 out of 10 if I could.

Excellent property, very peaceful but close to Kilkenny. Hosts were very friendly and property had everything including bacon and eggs in the fridge😁 would highly recommend and will definitely stay again ❤️

We had a complication with our booking and the hosts went well out of their way to help us with it. The place was spotless. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Fully equipt kitchen with some essentials left for you. Nice bathroom & shower. Communication was great. We were busy at a wedding nearby so didnt get a chance to enjoy the ruins etc

Welcoming self-catering retreat.

Quiet rural setting with marvellous hosts.local village 2 kms away. Kilkenny city 12kms away. Was much larger accommodation than expected. Very clean self catering unit with lots of little extra touches to ensure a successful stay. Many food items in stock to assist in cooking. Lovely terrace for outside dining and relaxation. Would have no hesitation in returning to stay here again. Was very sorry to leave after 2 night stay.

Everything about this place was amazing! we could have stayed for 2 weeks here easily. The owner were brilliant very friendly and told us all the local spot to visit. On arrival they had the fridge and freezer full of food and told to eat away!
