The host was very friendly. The apartment was very well equiped and well located. Great restaurants and groceries store nearby.

The apartment (one of seven in total at this site) is brand new. Everything is of the highest quality and has been chosen for the maximum comfort and convenience of the guests. The host, Nadja, is a professional hotelier who knows exactly what her guests want and need and she gave us lots of excellent tips (along with fliers) about where to go and what to see. She is also one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet. Plus her husband and his brother are builders, which means that if anything were ever to go wrong (which is very unlikely, given that the apartments are so new and so well built) there is somebody on site to fix it immediately. The location is perfect if you want to escape all the tourists at Lake Constance and experience something a bit more authentic. All the major tourist sites on the German side of the lake can be easily reached from Gruenkraut - and you'll drive through some stunning scenery to reach them. There is ample parking for guests, both over- and underground (in a newly built garage). And last but not least, there is a very good small Italian restaurant in the village -- Angelo's - within easy walking distance. We had excellent meals there for a very fair price.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the apartment. We had a fabulous time at the Franzl Hof and we will definitely be returning.
