Beautiful location
Room was up very steep and dangerous stairs. bed not extra large as advertised. Room smelled of dogs. Bar so was so busy there was nowhere to sit as groups of men watching rugby, breakfast also only continental, for £200! disappointing

We booked quite last minute for our stay but I had checked out the pub beforehand, the room was very sizable for the price we paid (I think the chap said we had been upgraded which was great!), the bed was very comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The staff were great, very helpful. We only stayed one night and checked in later in the day but we did enjoy a great dinner, lovely food with a different menu and great service. Thanks for making us so welcome.
There was a perfectly adequate cold breakfast (croissants, cereal, toast, yoghurt, etc) but cooked breakfast was extra. This isn't a huge problem but it maybe should be made obvious on the listing so you can be fully informed before deciding to book or not. However, I might have missed that so apologies if I did!

Molto accogliente e in perfetto stile campagna inglese! Caminetti accesi, legno e luci soffuse hanno ricreato proprio la situazione che desideravamo. Unico neo, la camera che ci hanno dato era carina ma purtroppo davvero piccola e la finestrella affacciava proprio sul camino delle cucine del ristorante quindi rumori e odori un po’ poco piacevoli.
Il cibo del ristorante era comunque molto buono e lo staff sempre gentile. Lo consiglierei tantissimo per un’esperienza davvero autentica!

Room 4 felt as though there was a trace of dampness. This was visible in the bathroom

All of our meals at The Lamb Inn were fantastic. We had a delicious Sunday roast out in the courtyard upon arrival and enjoyed Pizza night as well! It was easy to come and go from the inn and the room was comfortable and clean with plenty of bright light from outside (easy to open windows!). Great walks nearby and can walk into Milton. We would highly recommend The Lamb Inn.

a real traditional pub with good outdoor space and ample parking. clean room, well presented.
small room with noise of extractor just outside. there’s a few ‘fix it’ repairs required but it’s under new enthusiastic management so no doubt these are on the ‘to do’ list.

Nice room and cute place with great food and staff
Bed was a bit hard and in the room under me there was a barking dog they left in the room alone. it’s an old building so basically you hear sounds from the rooms nextdoor.

we loved the quietness of the inn.
The food was amazingly tasty. The venison was freshly caught by the Inn manager.
breakfast was absolutely delicious. lovely fresh very large warm croissants. a beautiful lady to serve you with the most wonderful manner. oh and did I mention the choice of hot breakfast? the poached eggs were cooked to perfection

Great location for exploring the cotswolds. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Beds were comfy.
Room not as shown on Booking.com! If the pictures/ description of our room was presented honestly when booking we would have either upgraded or stayed somewhere else. Our room (room 6) was referred to by staff as cosy and im assuming by cosy they mean very SMALL and very HOT. Unfortunately if you wanted to open the window to cool down you were hit with a strong SMELL of cooking oil due to the kitchen extractor fan being blastered right outside the window. Im usually toleratant of smells but this turned my stomach! This kept me awake both nights and as soon as I left the room I could still smell it in my hair and on my clothes. This was made worse on our last day as our room was WITHOUT HOT WATER! This was not because it was prime time as I was trying the shower from 5 that morning. Upon alerting staff we were given no alternative place to shower but was given a partial refund of £50 which I accepted as at this point i just wanted to leave. The art was not to my taste but if you like pictures of male genitalia and stuffed animals then this might be up your street. It was a very disappointing stay as I had been looking forward to spending our anniversary there for a while but apart from breakfast there is nothing special about this place.
