Not a single thing to like. Do not waste your money here. An absolute disgrace. Had to book this place out of necessity at the time, please read my negative comments below before you consider booking here, it’s long but you should read it.

We arrived to find BLOOD STAINED LINEN one on bed, and dirty socks in the other bed. Evidently it seems the linen had not been replaced from the prior guests. The bathroom bin was not emptied and there was rubbish all over the bathroom from previous guests. Rubbish strewn all across the front porch. The glass windows in the flat were disgusting, with grubby fingerprints all over them. Dirty towels, dirty cutlery and mugs (lipstick stains on some). The kitchen (despite being large) has almost nothing in it, no tea towels. Half the heaters didn’t work and the flat was so cold. The beds were so uncomfortable and only summer duvet/bedding (with no spare pillows/linen/duvet accessible) so we were all freezing. We contacted Luke stays when we first arrived to notify them of the disgusting state of the flat. They said they would send a cleaner to take the linen and re-clean but alas no one turned up during our 5 days there. We were left to source our own linen and towels and with a pile of dirty blood stained linen at the door. Without a doubt this is a huge health and safety breach. I tried to contact Luke stays every single day and never heard from them. Occasionally I got a message saying “I’ll call you soon” and they never called. Finally after check out I managed to speak to someone and they said “let me speak to my manager” but alas have never heard anything. Absolutely disgraceful communication and service. Abhorrent state of the apartment and potentially putting guests at risks with the poor hygiene standards. Booking.com YOU NEED TO REMOVE THIS COMPANY FROM YOUR WEBSITE. i would upload photos but evidently lukestays has removed the ability to do so on here, no surprise.

The apartment itself was nice.

The fact it had no electric and nobody was reachable to contact for help, and anyone we spoke to to from lukestays.com or booking.com could not contact the owner and my family including 3 young children had to suffer and find alternative accommodation and we are now being ignored because we want our refund. Horrendous service. Avoid at all costs.

In the arrival: It was easy to find the key and when we went inside was warm and looked tidy and clean: Feeling nice It was quiet place even if the apartment was on top of the shops.

You asked for our ideas for improving your service and it will be great if you can see these points to this modern and comfortable department: The Kitchen: it will be great to find: kitchen roll, tea towel, cleaning cloth also a broom, oil and salt. Cleaning glasses and cups, drawers and fridge (without human hair and crumbs), Bathroom: the window doesn't close and the cold is not nice when the wind comes easily inside. The place looks general clean but when we touch is all dusty.... clearly uncomfortable.......
