Location was great! It was very close to great shops and restaurants in the town center. Apartment was fully stocked and had everything we need. It was great having access to laundry facilities on site. Host was very helpful and available to answer questions and provide information about the area.

Beds were hard and not very comfortable. Furniture and decor needs updating,

- Beautiful fully furnished home - Bed was comfortable - Wifi was strong and have tv with channels - Bathroom & toilet was clean - Free use of washing machine and dryer in the basement - Irene was very attentive and kind

- Pillow need change - The apartment has no lift - Distance a bit far from train station (614m away)

It's an old house, one can hear how other people walk on the wooden floor above you.

This was a very good facility and an excellent location in Appenzell. The owner responded immediately to the only issue I had (connecting to the internet--my fault). I'd use this location again.

Great apartment. Clean, comfortable, lovely place. Irene and her staff were very friendly. She invited us to see the Lansdsgemeinde, the original expression of Swiss democracy. Great location on the edge of the Altstadt. Free parking and easy walk to the Coop grocery.

The apartment is cozy, spacious and well- equipped. It is also conveniently located near supermarkets and shopping center. The host is kind, helpful and informative.

quiet, clean, roomy, excellent value for the money

The apartment was wonderful! Not only was it located in the heart of Appenzell so it was easy to get to hiking, sights, and the center of town, but there was not a detail missed in making this a home away from home.

great location, parking spot included, with easy access by car or foot to beautiful walks and hikes. peaceful local feel. ebenalp to aescher house was a spectacular somewhat challenging (depending on your heights tolerance and whether or not the rocks are wet) hike. take the gondola up n back. food at Aescher was terrific!!!!

A cost-effective wonderful authentic Appenzeller apartment that felt welcoming and warm as if the owner-family opened their arms to us. Warm welcome on arrival with our two vehicles very well catered for, too. Accepting of our small old dogs. Apartment had everything needed for a great stay in the region; in fact, we were only there one night and didn't get to use the place like the second home it is intended as! Very close to the charming centre of town, which is always worth a meander.

The comfort of the place would have been better had we been able to stay for longer. This first floor apartment (stairs access only) is part of a multi-storey block with dated decor and furniture. However, the 2br apartment is suitably priced considering it can comfortably accommodate four adults and two dogs, with room for separate quiet spaces each.

Location, cleanliness, very nice host, apartment is very well equipped and has a nice , old Appenzell style feel about it.

This was a fantastic place to stay. We had plenty of room (6 in our group, 3 mother/daughter) it was very clean, walking distance to everything, the beds were fantastic and the views from the sitting rooms on both sides were beautiful. The price is also amazing. Irene the host was very prompt with all the information regarding checking in and accessing the apartment. She also linked us to the tourism department who sent some amazing information regarding the area. She also met us to walk us back to the train on our departure. The town or Appenzell is fantastic and the hiking superb. We spent 2 nights and 1 full day and I truly wish we would have had more time. If I were to return to I would definitely stay her again.

Large apartment very well stocked with everything you can think of.. beautiful place in excellent location!

6-7 minutes on foot from the railway station and about 3 minutes to supermarkets. Central but quiet location and view of the Hoher Kasten from living room. Very comfortable interior with excellent electric equipments. Ms. Irene Geisser, the landlord, is quite friendly and supprts us for everything. We recommend this precious apartment in Appenzell for all.

The cleaning fee is a little expensive.

Great accommodation - great location - great host!

Perfect location. Three mins by walk from main square but area is still quiet and calm! The host was super helpful and accommodating. The rooms are big and clean. Kitchen fully equipped!
