I appreciated the help of the host in getting last minute transport from the airport and to the bus station. She gave me an unexpected room upgrade that was enjoyed. (The king bed was very comfortable.) There was an option to pay by card for an additional fee, which based on past reviews is a new option. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the lodging felt safe.
I would have preferred to pay in advance as the amount I paid was not the same as that stated on Booking. I was told that the hotel exchange rate is different from the normal exchange rate. The breakfast was small and served homestyle (no buffet or menu options).

RECLAMO: siempre uso Booking y reserve este hotel por las valoraciones. Me mandaron emails y mensajes previos diciendome que estaban contentos con mi reserva, pero cuando llegué a Talara me mandaron un whatsapp diciendo que estaba en remodelación y me enviaban a otro hotel, que estaba frente a dos discotecas que superaban los decibeles de ruido hasta las 5am y no pude domir.

The place is luxury by Peru standards.
The shower is nice and hot.
Room is good size.
Located very close to the airport, 8 Min walk.

The owner requested more than the booked price initially. I booked for $34 USD, which equated to 130 Sol at the time. Ana requested 150 Sol. Fortunately she quickly relented and all was fine, but it was an odd moment.
Quite a way out of town (close to the airport), so there isn't much to do in the immediate area.

Amazing value! Tastefully upscale appointments throughout. Quiet, clean, safe and secure with secure parking. The staff, Anna and Rosa, were friendly and committed to making our stay restful and enjoyable. Excellent communication, great breakfast. We are meandering through Peru staying at many places. This one is a gem.

Tv reception in my room was snowy. I also think a handle in the shower should have been installed. I didn't have time to tell these to the owner.

What I liked the most was the candid and polite welcome by the owner and personnel
Don’t fall for the taxis who take you to Mancora for 120 or 150 just take a moto or taxi to EPPO bus station it will cost you just 10 soles and it leaves every 1 hour…more tops just ask…
Overall was alright however I do have some suggestions . I’d rather say it in person

Ana was an incredible host, she went out of her way to make sure that everything during my stay went well. The hotel is close to the airport which was very convenient. The morning when I left, Ana even helped me call a taxi to get into the town center to catch my bus to Mancora.
