Not much. I’ve stayed at a village before and this one wasn’t the best. The rooms were tiny.
I didn’t like the fact that I broke my arm. Contacted the hotel via booking.com and asked for my dates to be changed. Got told no. This was annoying but I accepted it and went to meet my friend at the original date anyway. Only to find when I’m on the train the hotel that refused to change the dates had changed the dates. Very inconvenient for me. Caused a lot of stress and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Good staff and excellent facilities

Wet trendy design and very clean and tidy
Tv in my room didn’t work, only sound, no picture, more like a radio tbh! Shower was cold even when set to the highest setting. Self check in is very impersonal and lack of waiter service even for tea and coffee at breakfast seemed somewhat poor. Iron leaked when I was ironing my shirt for the next morning leaving it wet and no mini fridge to put some beer in that I brought with me.

Great, funky facilities
Large gap at the bottom of the bedroom door, which led out onto the busy hallway. It did let rather a lot of light into the room.

Bed very comfy
Good food choice
Room smelt bad and was musty; really poor service at checkout - badly organised by staff, Restaurant had 10 tables roped off but not used for at least 2 hours making everyone else cramped

Shower wasnt the cleanest

Room was spotless and very comfortable
Staff were all amazing, apart from one who was not at all helpful, and seemed quite put out if they were asked for help with anything. He worked on the bar, when asked for a glass of wine I was told it was only sold by the bottle even though another guest had been served a glass of wine by another member of staff, he also told another guest a beer was not on sale then another member of staff went to change the barrel so the guest could have that particular beer, he also told me they could not accept cash for a drink and I had to pay by card, although this member of staff was rather offhand the other members off staff made up for his unhelpful manner

Breakfast was good just not items enough to suit customers who eat halal food as sausage and bacon wasn't definitely halal
7.0
Price and spacious rooms
My bathroom had broken hair accessory the toilet, that should have been seen in hoovering or moping.
Couldn't get the radio on the TV would have liked that.

The overall feel of the hotel was modern and fresh. It had a great feel about it and all the staff were super friendly.
The rooms were really big, very clean and again modern. The beds were extremely comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. Only woken once by a screaming kid but that was to be expected for the amount of young families around.
Loved having a Starbucks on site, extra bonus.
My daughter said it was her favourite part her weekend and this was after a day at legoland. She has also requested to go back for her birthday, haha.
So it's not like I didn't like it because I was there with my own children but it is clearly used as a hub for legoland therefore alot of children. I could see how hard they had tried to cater for this but I imagine those without children thought it was abit wild at times.
Breakfast was chaos... not enough staff on to clear tables fast enough and the queues for the food gor long and they were all stood aside people eating so got abit awkward.
None of this would put me off visiting again though.

Was absolutely over the moon
Myself my friend and our two toddlers came here to stay for LEGOLAND
It was my daughters 3rd birthday
They decorated the room for us and made us feel so welcome
Will definitely be back next year
Thank you 1000000% from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Breakfast was really good! People were very friendly. I loved the pub.
Toilet was not clean. If you bended a bit you got to see the "stains" (let's call them). Also, there was like a smashed tomato or similar against the window (from the outside). It stayed there for the 3 days I stayed at the hotel.
It was pretty far from the railway station. It took me 30' to walk there.

breakfast was great, enjoyed the pool area and gym.
far, far too many emails during booking process. I travel several times per year and have never had so many communications from any accommodation. Serious issues with communicating cancellations/changes/liaising with booking.com

Good location for work.
Filthy!
Stayed 2 nights and the room was not exactly clean when I arrived. However, no housekeeping day 2!
Parking is a nightmare and self check in tried to double charge for parking. Decent staff member did sort, when I found one, but should not need to have to.
Appreciating that it is a hotel, but it was like a youth club on night 2.
Also, a team were checking cars and looked like they were looking for stuff to steal. Mentioned and took my bike out of the car & inside and had to get permission fr9m the Manager - really?!
In summary:
Dirty and I did not feel like anything was safe & secure...
Thank you, but I will not stay at a Village Hotel again.
Poor all round.

The location was suitable for where we needed to be but the location itself was very noisy as its right on the dual carriage way.
The room was very small, definitely not the size that I booked. The TV was far too big for the size of the room.
6.0
Close to where I wanted to be
Lamp didn't work so they gave me a bulb to change it and that didn't work then they came and fixed it. Tired people

The location for our work trip was spot on. The facilities and rooms are really good.
There seemed to be an issue with acoustics or soundproofing - when people passed through doorways in the corridors around our rooms there was a deep “thump” as the doors closed. Just loud enough to be annoying, but thankfully it calmed down as the evening went on.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable, really comfy beds! Good facilities in the room.
Longer hours for kids in the pool, 5pm a little too early, as we didn’t get to the pool after our day in Legoland!

Breakfast was good. Good variety and plenty of it. The facilities (i.e., gym etc) are excellent. Our room was comfortable.
The day/ evening menu wasn't particularly good. Not much variety, and what we did have wasn't very tasty.
8.0
The room was compact but bright and had a massive Smart TV.
The bed was very comfortable
Very busy carpark due to gym users

comfort of the bed was good and the gym is decent too
my room wasn’t very clean there was dust all in the cups all on the desk and the shower and toilet seat was dirty the shower was the dirtiest
5.0
The accommodation was fine - a standard, clean room with good shower facilities.
The standard of cleanliness in the communal areas and the bar/restaurant area left a lot to be desired.
9.0
Friendly and helpful staff
Good food in pub for evening meal
Cleanljness could be better (very dirty shower trap), need to check light in foyer area of room and bathroom door didn’t close. Would have been more of an issue of staying longer
