Great value

The rooms are clean and spacious. The staffs are nice and quite helpful. We have a great time hanging out with the staff - henda. He was quite funny and make us feel comfortable about our stay. There are also many activities to socialize too

Il y a pleins d’autres hôtels superbes à Kuta ne perdez pas votre temps ici.

L’emplacement

Le pire hôtel que nous avons fait en Indonésie. Ils nous ont fait payé une chambre de 6 alors que nous étions 5. Ils nous ont fait payer les visites très chères. Les serviettes sont payantes. Une caution énorme. Les scooter sont loués sans casque ce qui est très dangereux + dans certains endroits de la ville il est interdit de rouler sans casque. Donc aucun intérêt de louer chez eux. Si vous êtes un peu en retard pour le check out et que vous laisser vos sacs dans la chambres, vous payez la moitié de la chambre 😱 TOUT EST PAYANT ET TRÈS CHER POUR UNE AUBERGE ! Le personnel ne va pas vous aider. La piscine est sale.

De los mejores hostales en los que he estado

El alojamiento está genial. Súper céntrico y con muy buenas instalaciones. El personal fue demasiado lindo y atento. Me encantó que tienen trips para recorrer la isla una vez a la semana y tienen actividades juegos todas las noches. Les mando un beso enorme al personal, son un amor todos ellos!!!🫶🏼

Lo único que podría poner de pega es que quizá si vienes un poco cansado casi todas las noches tienen música hasta las 11, pero tampoco es una música muy alta que moleste. Se puede descansar perfectamente

Expected much more knowing other Mad Monkey Hostels

The location is really great, you can go everywhere walking. The rooms are very big for a hostel.

There are a lot of things we didn’t like: - We booked this Hostel because we knew from previous stays in Mad Monkeys that the animation program at night is great. Throughout 3 nights there were no activities at all. - If you don’t have your own water bottle it’s impossible to get drinking water there. They are not giving out glasses, even if you offer to pay. Filling your own water bottle costs you extra as well. - The pool looked kinda dirty and the water was not very clear. - The bathroom smelled bad and the bed sheets had stains

Loud and dated hostel

My private room was huge and has an amazing huge sink with mirror. The bathroom is large too. I enjoyed the local dinner night – can highly recommend. Good food and company.

The hostel's facilities are very dated. The pool furniture needs to be replaced urgently – it's rather disgusting to sit on the pool bed. The music in the bar and pool area is extremely loud all day and night – it's even uncomfortable to sit by the bar. It was very loud in my room until 10pm every night.

Great location but not good otherwise

Excellent location in Kuta

Bathrooms weren’t cleaned properly (both our rooms and rooms of others we spoke to) The music is so loud you can hear it properly in the rooms (although they do turn off at 11)

Great location, clean rooms, comfy beds and super friendly hostel staff. Met amazing people here and had a fantastic time. Good balance between chill vibe and social hostel for solo travellers. Plus: Awan is an amazing rep, he made my stay so much more fun!

Nice facilities. Bathrooms are nice and big and common areas are nice and cool for socializing

the wifi wasn't good with my computer unfortunately and I needed it for meetings.They have a locker but it's kinda old and rusty.

Disappointed at all points

It was well located, staff was kind and pool area is great with good kitchen

It was well overpriced compared to any other hostel in the city. We don’t have any shower gel nor shampoo, you have to pay for everything ! towel, even to refuel your bottle of water !!!!! Everything here is so expensive and for no reason. Even the wifi was really bad

Go if u wanna party avoid if not, just go there to drink at night

Location, good place to meet other ppl

I had a private room. They placed me right on the pool, where everyone party and there's extremely loud music from 8 am - 23 pm so thr room is very noisy pretty much all day and you really cant have a minute of quiet time or rest. Bath and toilet not very clean. The room was pretty old at many parts, very basic, not really great. Staff was ok, some nice some ehhh

Big big big thanks Mad Monkey! From the moment I checked in I was warmly welcomed by the great staff. I had a great time! the dorms were nice and clean, the food was very tasty and the pool was beautiful! Every night there were fun activities, so you get to know a lot of people. From beer pong tournaments, to trivia night and family dinners🫶🏼. There are also really nice people who come and chat with you along the pool, like Fael😃. Everything was well arranged and taken care of. Big thanks to the MadMonkey staff!

the staff is amazing. If you’re looking for party and meeting new people, just go. Don’t expect to be sleeping before 11pm, if you want, this is not the place to be.

There could at least be hand soap on every toilet. Very dirty, they don’t clean the rooms (at least the toilet) everyday, only when someone new enters the dorm.

Hostel was nice with a nice pool. location was also nice.

The toilet door was broken, so it was a little bit difficult to close it properly.

Close to the city.

No shower available, only some drops out of the shower. Everythink seems like to expensive. From towel to beerpong competition.

The hostel has the perfect location but that's about it. Bathrooms are like in prison. Rooms old, dirty, full of stains, don't look at the bedding, staff friendly but a bit lazy. Toilet paper is always in short supply and if you need it you have to pick it up yourself. Food in the hostel is overpriced and tasteless. It's better to eat outside, it's cheaper and tastes better. All in all a disappointment. You get what you pay for and that is nothing

Pleasant

amazing location, right in the middle of all restaurants and shops. stunning beach 15 mins on moped away which we spent most our time. staff were lovely, pool was nice and they do put on a lot of things to get everyone involved even though we were out in the evenings most nights ourselves.

there was some mould in the corner of our room, and our toilet flush didn’t work at all. we asked twice for it to be looked at and when we came back on both occasions it was exactly the same so we ended up having to use other toilets rather than the one that was actually in our room which was pretty annoying as we paid for private room with a bathroom and were there 5 nights.

Super nice hostel with fantastic staff!

A super fun hostel with great staff! There is enough organized and at 23.00 they stop the music so if you want to sleep on time you still have that peace. Owen, Finn and Alina get a big 10 from me!

Exceptional

The staff is very nice and always available to help, especially the hot Norwegian girl that always works on her laptop in front of the bar. The hostel offers many activities to do during the day and in the evening to meet and have fun with the other guests.
