Description of the hotel is quite accurate. Very nice breakfast for Italian standards - there were pastries, bread, one type of fruit, one type of cheese and ham, butter, nutella, jams, honey, cereal, iogurt, juices, coffe and such. The hostess Filomena is very nice and helpful. Location is about 6km from Portoferraio, on the other side of the bay, which gives the hotel a nice view of the city. Very quiet place. The rooms can be individual/separate "houses" (smaller rooms but more privacy) or geminated/town homes (bigger rooms but closer to other rooms). There is room cleaning every day and towels are changed every 3 days. Comfortable beds.

We stayed in the smaller "separated" rooms - the disadvantage was that the bathroom shower was a bit small. Nevertheless we had a great stay!

Bad road down hill. Especcially when travelling with a heavy touring bike. It is a challenge. And restaurant not on walking distance.

It is an absolutly beatiful place with wonderful views and very kind and helpful staff.

I have only said that the location was bad because I did not have a car and as the restaurant was closed in the evenings and there is nowhere in within easy walking distance to get something to eat that was rather inconvienient. There is a bus stop at the end of the road but services are infrequent and, at night, non existent. That said, If you have your own transportation I would definatley recommend this place.

Breakfast is very good! Haus Location and Design are wonderful.

Very friendly staff, good but simple breakfast. The rooms are small, but clean. Beautiful view to Portoferraio. Price/value ratio OK.

The garden and the beach needs renewal.
