Before we even arrived, Luke had given us a lift tot the property and a detailed introduction to the town and where all the essential places are located. After showing us the property, he gave us a lift to the grocery store and back. The house is spacious, clean and in a stunning location. All the facilities were modern and he provided detailed instructions for usage. He was attentive to our concerns and struggles and he also drove us back to the train station at the end of our trip. Couldn’t recommend a better property and host!

The house felt very warm, comfortable, and cosy and was filled with all the essential amenities. Every room had an amazing snowy view surrounded by trees, and it felt like the perfect place for our group of 6. The location was fantastic, with an onsen only a minute away (which we bathed at every night we were there), and the Iwatake Ski Resort was within walking distance, making our snowboarding trip extremely convenient. Our host was very helpful and accommodating, which made our stay in Hakuba a perfect and memorable experience. I would highly recommend Kaede House!

the property was very cozy and warm, but still there was space. the fireplace was amazing. the kitchen and rooms were also very clean and comfortable. the view was also amazing.

Great location and amazing house! the house is new and extremely comfortable. the view from the terrace is breathtaking! Luke and Risa provided excellent support!

Everything about this place was beautiful. House was very clean and equipped with high end appliances. There is a nice backyard and we had fun building a snowman. The house owners were very kind and helpful. This house was the highlight of our trip and we would definitely come back again.

Not only were the facilities top-notch, but the home had everything prepared—all tableware, utensils, laundry detergent, etc. It was extremely convenient to go to nearby ski resorts as well. Luke met us multiple times to make sure everything was okay, and gave us recommendations to restaurants in the nearby area.

There wasn’t much to not like! As mentioned, it was a great place to stay with a group. If I had to say something, I’d say that having some sort of humidifier would be great—but that’s just a really small thing. It’s wintertime in Hakuba, so it’s pretty dry wherever you go because of the heating.
