Nothing about the apartment or the service we received

We got to the Costa Apartments early at10.30am (had an early flight) The main reception had to contact the people who looked after the apartment who then met us in reception he told us that the apartment was not ready (we emailed the contact for the apartment on 4 occasions 2 days before our arrival and also 1 day before to ask if we could have an early check in and told them we would pay whatever the cost would be but we did not get a reply) We were told we could not get into the apartment until 3pm later that day, they said they would store our luggage for us so we took out of swimming gear & other things we needed & went to the pool & tried our best to relax and catch some much needed sleep by the pool.*The pool is tiny for the size of this complex (100's of apartments) there are only 6 sunbeds available and the sun is only on this area until 12noon and the pool attendant (if you can call him that) is the most laziest unhelpful person you could possibly find he spent most of his time either on his phone or asleep and would not lift a finger to help anyone,.I helped a lady move her sunbed down some stairs to another section and he just stood there watching...unbelivable !! At 3pm the contact took us to a different apartment from the one we booked, there was a total break down in communication and all conversation had to be done via mobile phone translate apps, The apartment he took us to was very tired & worn out but he thought he was doing us a favour because it was a 2 bedroom apartment instead of the 1 bedroom aprartment we booked but he said that the 2nd bedroom was locked so we couldn't use it !! (not that we would have used it anyway as it was just myself & my wife) He even had the cheek to say that the apartment we had booked was much nicer, cleaner & had better views than the one he was offering but they had double booked air conditioner people to check air condition unit so we couldn't have the one we booked....

The apartment is very new, clean and very spacious. Host is very accommodating to all our needs and fresh cooked breakfasts are delicious. The ocean view is lovely! Free lounge chairs and umbrella is a plus. We had a wonderful stay, thank you!

The location

When we arrived at the reception it appears that we booked a flat so the owner wasn't there. Someone from the reception (it appears the building is a hotel and "Zoom apartments" rental as well) called him/her (his/her number is not even shown on booking.com) then a girl called Loan appeared and took us to our "room" which was a studio flat no corner unit or high floor as I requested, and definitely NO BATHTUB AND NOTHING LIKE IN THE PHOTOS. We wanted to pay by card she said only cash or to pay plus 3% of the amount by card so we had to pay the commission and not only that but she requested a deposit of $100 in cash, this wasn't noted on booking.com. I gave her a new format brand new $100 bill. The flat was awful, the table, the chairs, a cockroach on the balcony as a "welcome gift", the breakfast wasn't a buffet but some mini menu to pick some Vietnamese soups or bread. The room wasn't always clean at midday like in hotels but at random times late in the afternoon. We never saw the girl called Loan again instead there were always 2 different girls bringing breakfast to the room. When we were doing the check out this girl gives me an envelope with 10 old format $10 bills and I immediately got upset and requested my $100 bill back, she said they don't have my money and that someone gave to the wrong room my bill by mistake. We needed to go to the airport ASAP and we had to wait like 30min+ for them to give us DONs (Vietnamese currency) instead and for an awful rate!!! much less than the actual rate! SERIOUSLY the abuse, the bad taste that this has left, the feeling that they take you as STUPID left me with no wish to visit this "Zoom apartments or whatever this company is definitely not a hotel!" So thank you for ruining my family holiday

The host was very friendly and helpful. She is the best experience we enjoyed at this property, beside the location next to the beach.

Should mentioned that this is only indirect sea-view. I thought it would be direct seaview. And why for a VAT invoice to be produced I was asked for 10%, did the cost not mentioned VAT included? I had to do away with a non-VAT invoice.

It make quickly to receive the key room on time because we have to wait delay nearly 1 hour to enter the room (15h compare with schedule is 14h)
