We enjoyed this hike very much. Thank you for our restful visit, we would book again!

Cute house, but not very nice surrounding area. When we arrived the house was 47 degrees and it took almost 12 hours to get the heat up to where it was comfortable. When they say it’s ready, that should mean it’s not an icebox when you arrive. The sheets had hair on them and did not look washed. The upstairs shower plugged up because the drain under the drain cover was plugged with hair and sludge. If the location was better, and it was cleaner, it would have been good.

Super cute little home! Everything was pretty great, we were just a little disappointed with the hot tub and no Wi-Fi. The hot tub was a little dirty and the chemicals were a little much. We were only able to sit in there for a little bit because they burned our eyes and made us cough when we turned on the jets.

Beautiful, remote location. The home is very comfortable. Close to many nice areas. Perfect for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of every day grind. To rest, rejuvinate and connect with nature.
Pet friendly as well with a nice large dog area.

Given my multiple complaints about the cleanliness of this property and misrepresentation of the property, I have been offered half the money back for the cleaning fee. I requested the full cleaning fee plus the fee for the hot tub as is wasn’t working and they were waiting for a part and never let us know until I asked about it. No “beach access”. Dirty all over. Obvious cobwebs, crusty debris in the burners on the stove, thick dust on light fixtures and tv equipment, obvious sticky substance in the freezer, stained carpet and furniture and sheets, questionable whether sheets were actually washed or just restetched and beds made. The clean towels were found in the dryer. Don’t worry - I folded those and put them away. Weeds everywhere and overgrown rose bushes in the walkways. So disappointed. Still not even the half of the cleaning fee has been reimbursed.

The towels had hair all over them. The hot tub wasn’t that hot. The downstairs shower didn’t work right. The upstairs shower kept flooding. Could only watch DVDs. The neighbors were loud till 3am messing around and doing stuff all night long. Overall stay will not be back.

Hot tub was ready and waiting for us.
Tons of space and nice quiet area. Was perfect.

The place is great! Bring ear plugs for the rooster next door, but get ready for some relaxing. The lack of wifi makes finding things a little tricky. Supposedly there’s great cell service, but not with t mobile and just okay with AT&T.

The location it self and everything about it was amazing however my only 2 complaints would be that the hottub would not stay at a hot tempature which was irritating and that the trash can by the road was full before we even got there making it a hassle to conserve how much trash we had in order to not over fill the trashcan and allow animals nearby to get into it, other then that the location was great just don't use Google maps for the last part of it or it will send you down the wrong way.

Very nice house, clean and well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked (spices too!) and the hot tub was ready when we arrived. The bed in the master bedroom was quite perfect. Verizon 5G worked fine so wifi not needed. Overall a terrific value. Would definitely stay again.

This was a great property. It could have been a bit cleaner but nothing crazy. It was pretty stormy while we were there and lost power twice so be prepared. It was super cozy though and secluded. I would love to stay in the summer and enjoy the canal. I would recommend this property for sure.

We rented the house to spend relaxing time with friends, hiking, cooking and hot tubing. We chose the house for that reason.
The kitchen was well equipped for cooking that was a big plus. The hot tub was disgusting and we told the housekeeper before she left. As a spa owner myself I know how to care for a hot tub. My husband looked at the filter and it hasn’t been changed in a long time. I would recommend better spa maintenance to take care of your spa. And if you advertise a spa make sure it is maintained properly.
The house was nice over all and we enjoyed our time with friends.

This house was fine. There must be some issue with housekeeping. The house was clean enough, but they pushed back our check in time by two hours an hour before we were supposed to check in. The hot tub was unusable. The water was green and scummy, and not even turned on. The website lists the house has having three king beds, but there is only one king bed and two queen beds—but that wasn’t a big deal for us. Our kids loved the basketball hoop and play set. All in all, a fairly typical experience with renting from a Vacasa managed property.

House was very clean when we arrived! Hot tub was crystal clear and running for our arrival. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans, spices, etc. Loved the fenced in dog yard for our pups. Hoodsport was about 15 minutes away we enjoyed wine tasting and shops. I slept in the upstairs bed and it was very comfortable! Our family said the downstairs beds were comfy as well. Thanks for the great stay!

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. We were able to easily travel to the places we wanted to see and then come back in the evening to enjoy a great nights sleep in comfortable beds. It was quiet and a bit secluded, very peaceful.

This home provided the perfect getaway for our family to attend a nearby family wedding. The house was incredibly clean, comfortable and updated. The listing says there are 3 king beds, but the downstairs beds are both queens. There is a sofa sleeper in the upstairs loft. We loved the hot tub and the landscaping was well maintained. The only downside of the home was not having wifi which we thought was odd since something must be powering the homes security system. We wish we were able to stay longer here!

We had a great stay at this beautiful cabin property. Do not follow Google maps for directions and it is really closer to Eldon than Lilliwaup. Otherwise it is fantastic, clean and well stocked. Make sure you read the description that there is no Wifi and cell coverage was spotty. Great place to get off the grid!

Great house in a fairly secluded location. The only down side would be the rooster that crowed in the mornings and through-out the day.

A few friends, kids, and dogs had a great time staying here. It was a perfect size for 3 adults and 2 kids.
A notebook of instructions about the place as well as recommendations of places to go / things to do would have been nice, esp since there was no WiFi there. A warning that not all cell providers have service there would also have been nice (Verizon worked fine but T-Mobile didn’t).

Our stay was great. The house was extremely well stocked with everything you would need and it was great quality to. Our daughter loved the playground and hot tub. The fenced area was great for our small dog. We will for sure be booking this rental again.

House was great, very clean. We didn’t use the hot tub because the water was yellow, they said it was fine Because it was well water. That’s probably true but we still didn’t use it. They refunded the hot tub fee. The listing says 3 king beds it only has 1. That was pretty disappointing as we brought another couple with us. Other than that we had a great stay.

We got incredibly lost using Google Maps. After heading up narrow dirt roads and maneuvering multiple hairpin turns in our minivan, we realized we were in the wrong place. My husband's phone had no signal, but fortunately, my phone had one bar. We then tried Apple Maps, which took us to the right road, wrong house. After about 45 minutes of searching, we lucked upon the rental. (We tried following the written directions, but the main road sign was missing.) We were so happy to finally arrive! It was freezing, and after a long drive, the kids had to potty BADLY. Unfortunately, we couldn't get into the house. The Vacasa instructions referred to a "lockbox." We spent 15 minutes in the cold and dark looking for it. Eventually, we figured out that we just needed to put the code into the door lock. But, it didn't work. We read the help guide, and we still couldn't get it to open. Finally, I called the help number. The Customer Support Person was super nice. She told us that there was a lockbox. We spent another 10-15 minutes looking for it to no avail. She then disconnected to contact a local person who could hopefully help. She called back telling us to try pushing the lock logo first, enter the code, then press the logo button again. That worked. Finally, we were in. That experience set the tone for the rest of the trip. There were no instructions or labels anywhere. I've rented quite a few homes through VRBO/Vacasa, and this seems unusual. A few lights were burnt out. The heater in one of the bedrooms wouldn't turn off, so a previous guest had just unplugged it. The grill had gas, but it wasn't connected properly. The kids were upset because the upstairs DVD player would randomly shut off. The jacuzzi water was green. It was so gross that I just avoided it altogether. The dog area is great, but our pup was able to escape. There's not a good way to watch the dog area from the house so if the dog was outside, so were we. Although the place seems private, we could hear the neighbors playing music, practicing electric guitar, and talking on the phone. One neighbor stopped by to tell us she would be parking her car across the way. There are cameras EVERYWHERE, and honestly, it was a little off-putting. I felt like maybe we were in a bad neighborhood. For what we paid it was just okay. The house itself was very nice, but it's the little things that make a stay enjoyable.

What a great property! My husband I and I were very impressed. It was stocked so well with supplies and extra linens. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you could ever need to cook an elaborate meal.
My kids had a blast outside. The yard is spectacular. It was 45 degrees in November but I couldn't get them inside! Between the hot tub, basketball hoop, swing set, and a fabulous grassy yard- they were on cloud 9. There is also lots of privacy from surrounding neighbors.
A short drive to Hama Hama Oyster Saloon, a must check out spot for fresh seafood and a great view! There is also a well stocked general store about 10 minutes away in Brinnon incase you forget any food supplies.
The property did not offer Wi-Fi so plan accordingly. We brought a large collection of DVD's from home, but honestly it was relaxing to unplug from constant screen time.
We would love to go stay at this property again!

Our family of four+2 small dogs absolutely loved this house during our 7-night stay! It was by far the cleanest we've ever stayed at, essentially spotless. The kitchen, while small, has very nice modern appliances and all the pots/pans/utensils/spices you need to cook with. The bedrooms are clean with super comfy mattresses, pillows, and blankets, plus extras in the dressers. The loft is awesome and is a great place to spend some family time. There are two large tv's, plus two soundbars and two dvd players. We didn't even turn the tv's on, and only the upstairs soundbar has bluetooth so we used that to stream music throughout the house since its in the loft which is open to most of the living space. There is no cable or internet/wifi, however we were able to get spotty data coverage on our Xfinity (Verizon) phones, enough to stream some videos, but we had excellent call coverage so phone calls weren't a problem. This house does not provide any board games or activities like some rentals we've stayed at, so plan on bringing those with you. The hot-tub is always something we look for and this house has a good one, although the jets weren't very strong. We had an issue with the chemicals getting out of balance but the very nice maintenance lady came out and adjusted them so we could continue to use it. The property is nice with a large completely fenced yard (think dog-park) that would be great for big dogs. The parking lot is large like the description says, but it's slightly steep towards the back-half so it made it difficult for my 3 and 6 year old daughters to use their razor scooters much. The basketball hoop was nice but again, because of the slope of the driveway, we had to be careful or the ball would bounce all the way into the trees at the end of the driveway. They provide a basketball, but we used our own slightly deflated basketball so it wouldn't bounce away as easily. There's also a very nice playset that our kids enjoyed using, although it was wet and cold most of our visit so they didn't get too many opportunities. There are neighbors on either side of the property but the trees block most of the view between properties. Even though this house feels like it's in the wilderness, almost all the land around it is private property so you can't go exploring much other than walking the single lane road about a 1/2 mile up to where it ends at another private residence. The property itself has enough space to walk around or play hide-and-seek with the kiddos though. The road to get to the house is just a single-lane, steep road up the hill from HWY101. Our minivan made it just fine in the rain, however if it was snowy/icy, I would be very hesitant to try going up the road even in a 4-wheel drive vehicle. GPS won't get you to the house once you get off HWY101, so follow the written directions in the Vacasa email closely or it might be hard to find.
The house is misrepresented slightly in the description at the time of our stay. It says there are 3 king beds but there is only 1 upstairs, with two queen beds in the 2 downstairs bedrooms. There's also a sleeper sofa in the loft that is not mentioned in the description. Also, there are no bath-tubs (the two showers are very nice) so it should be listed as two 3/4 bathrooms, not full bathrooms.
Overall, we had an excellent stay at this house and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to get away from the city.

Great spot for an off the grid getaway
We had a lovely, quiet Thanksgiving in the woods in this very comfortably and well provisioned home. Between the basketball hoop, the play structure and the hot tub, everyone in the family had something to enjoy outside (even in the rain!). We had a little trouble finding the place in the dark when we first arrived bc there was no road sign off the main road, but the driving directions from there were helpful (since our GPS had us drive past the house). The house was so cozy and a great spot to just hang with the family. We appreciated the small selection of DVDs so we had something to watch in the evening. It would be a really fun place for some board gaming and puzzles, so we recommend bringing some, and encourage the owners to add some for general use. We really enjoyed the state parks nearby and a lovely time at Hama Hama Oysters! Power went out for a few hours during a storm while we were there and we couldn’t find any flashlights, so bring a headlamp just in case. It gets dark up there! Overall it was a wonderful stay. We would definitely visit this house again!

We should have looked a bit closer... and were surprised that there was no internet or TV channels what-so-ever. And there were no DVD's around to borrow for the stay. Other than that, and no extra TP, was a very nice stay. House was in excellent condition and had everything you could need to cook. Very secluded. Would be a tricky road to navigate in snow or ice, but was fine otherwise.

The house was thoughtfully appointed and comfortable. The basketball hoop and play structure were a hit with the little one. We love the proximity to outdoor activities. And having Hama Hama Oysters down the road was a big bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
