Elk Hill Escape was a perfect property for our 3 day vacay! Our family of four would certainly stay here again. The access to property would be a little tricky at night, but the property owner provides details as to how to access condo. Great location. Great communication with host. Thanks!

I really enjoyed staying here. As someone who values cleanliness, I felt extremely comfortable here, which is not always the case when staying away from home. I am pregnant and this place was very easy for me to navigate, even with the stairs. Only thing that I wouldn't rave about is the comfort of the upstairs mattress. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was a bit bouncy. Again, I am pregnant and more sensitive. I would absolutely stay here again!!!

A well-set up condo on the outskirts of Banner Elk. It made for a cosy and comfortable stay. The property manager was very helpful, gave us great suggestions and quickly helped resolve a minor problem that we had. A convenient location to explore the Blue Ridge Parkway. The downstairs bedroom is rather small but the upstairs bedroom and living area is very nice

This house was very convenient to lots of things to do. We went to several water falls, visited Boone, visited Grandfather Mountain. There are several great places to eat within one to two miles from the house. Don’t need to go any farther for food or groceries. Great place to stay. The house has everything you need when you get there. Remember to take extra paper goods. We loved Banner Elk. The trees were beautiful !!!

We came to Banner Elk for a birthday celebration and to enjoy some fine dining. The home was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would’ve like to have stayed longer.

My mom is non-ambulatory. Avery Co Transport was able to back right up to the porch, unload Mom and wheel her right into townhouse first floor (the threshhold isn't flush...there's ~3" threshold). There's a bedroom w/queen bed, bathroom w/tub & shower, living room & kitchen on the 1st floor, all handicapped accessible. The 2nd floor is all one big room, exact same square footage as 1st floor, with sitting room & day bed/trundle bed on one side and queen bed on other side. NOTE: There is no dividing wall. There's also a laundry room and bathroom w/walkin shower. Off the kitchen in back of the property, there's a sizeable lovely deck with a "being in the woods" feel. As is true for all of Avery County, the drinking water is some of the best water in the world, so leave your bottled water at home.

We had such a wonderful stay at this condo! The owner really thought of everything you could possibly need while staying here. Very quick response to any questions I had. Fantastic location- central to our visits to the Alpine Coaster, Grandfather Mtn and Land of Oz! Overall, we had a fantastic time here and would 100% rent here again in the future.

Wow what an amazing place. So cozy and perfect for our trip to land of oz. The owner was incredible with recommendations and communication overall. The accommodations are fantastic.

Laura our host was attentive, available, and very knowledgeable. She made the whole stay hassle free. Only two of us, so more than enough room. Nice outdoor space, with grill, table top fireplace, and a picnic table. Second floor deck was a wonderful place to sit and read and look at scenery. Very nice neighbors.

Nice, clean, and quiet condo in a good location close to town and attractions. My only complaint would be the A/C, it is a portable unit that I had to hook up the venting for myself, so only good for one room/level and it was noisy turning on and off all night. Maybe my fault for not confirming, but since the title of the listing says AC I just assumed it was central. Some claim it is not needed in the mountains but it is definitely a requirement for us when sleeping some nights, it was 79 degrees in the condo when we arrived. I would stay again, just not in the summer. I am not one to complain often but thought it was worth mentioning.

The property was excellent - very clean, well maintained and very quiet end unit. My wife and I stayed with my daughter and her husband, and we had more than enough room. The back deck is awesome -very large, covered and has a fire pit & grille. We ate there and played scrabble when not sightseeing. Overall A+ and we'll be back!

My little family loved our stay at the Elk Hill Escape! The trundle bed worked out perfectly for my 6 and 3 yr old and they loved the fact there was a TV beside their bed lol Thanks for an awesome experience!
