About this house rental
Incredible 3 bedroom, 3 bath Moroccan-style beach house with beautiful hand-painted tiles and huge modern kitchen! The unit spans the first and second floors of this stylish home, mere yards away from the beach and bay. Amenities include air conditioning, 2 car tandem garage, yard, comfortable beds, all the kitchen/bath essentials, WiFi, and Netflix. The living room features a super-comfortable couch, large enough for your entire group, and a folding glass wall that opens to a yard with a fountain and dining/patio set. The kitchen has a stunning marble island that seats 8 people. All bedrooms have smart TVs. The unit you will be staying in is Unit A, which is a two-story unit of a duplex. We (the owners) live in Unit B, which is a completely separate unit with its own entry. There are no shared living spaces. This lovely Moroccan-inspired home is a 1-2 minute walk to the beach and the bay. We include beach towels, an umbrella, boogie boards, beach toys and an outdoor shower so you have everything you need to enjoy Mission Beach. The downstairs (with the living and dining area, bedroom and bathroom) is wheelchair friendly, with a roll-in shower, roll-sinks, 36" doors, etc. Please let us know in advance if a wheelchair will be used during stay so we can ensure access ramps are in place. (The City of San Diego provides free manual or power beach wheelchairs a short 1/4 miles away.) A "Pack N Play" is available upon request. NEIGHBORHOOD: Mission Beach is a lively beach town with miles of boardwalk, hip shops, restaurants, bars. The home is 1/4 mile from Belmont Park -- a beach front amusement park with a historic wooden roller coaster, mini golf, bumper cars, rock climbing, escape room, fresh water pool, restaurants, bars and more). We are centrally located to everything in San Diego - the Airport (5 mi /10 min drive), downtown (7 mi/10 min drive), Sea World (2 mi/6 min drive), and the Zoo (10 mi/15 min drive). Bike, surfboard, and scooter rentals are within easy walking distance. ATTENTION: This home is in a high-density neighborhood and is only appropriate for quieter groups. There is a "no tolerance" policy for excessive noise, parties or indoor smoking. Failure to abide by these policies may lead to immediate eviction without refund. Please be sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home.

This place is the place to stay in San Diego! Mission Beach is in the center of the city and everywhere we went only took 15 min drive. The manager was easy to get ahold of via text. The place is clean and has everything you need. We came for a girl’s trip. It’s a 2 min walk to the beach board walk as well. We would stay again!

Awesome house with fully appointed and equiped kitchen . Great for cooking and sharing family meals. Close to the beach and the bay. Well decorated and furnished with quality furnishings. Connie and Karl were very easy to workl with , very responsive and went out of their way to make sure our stay went well. We hope to return in the future .

Our stay was terrific! Love the proximity to the beach and perfectly stocked home. Host even supplied extra dishes for us to cook Thanksgiving dinner! Highly recommend!

This home is even more lovely and comfortable than it appears online. The location is great! It's a short walk from the beach and many restaurants and activities are within walking distance. The owners were accommodating and helpful. Should we return to Mission Beach, we will definitely stay here again!

We had a great time…excellent location. Nicely decorated and clean. My complaints would be more bath towels…two per person. And it would be nice to have a way to get some fresh air without letting in flies. Thanks!

Our group of six adults loved this beautifully decorated home. The wheelchair access for one in our party was perfect. It was fun and convenient to check out a beach wheelchair at the lifeguard station just around the corner.

My friends and I enjoyed our stay so much! It’s a gorgeous property and a quick walk to the beach. The outdoor shower was amazing for post beach and the hosts were quick to respond and thought of everything for us. Beach Towels were provided and we loved the chairs!

What an absolutely amazing slice of Heaven. Everything was so thought out and beautiful inside and out. The house is stocked full of supplies, beach gear, and cozy comforts. The outdoor patio was divine. Just steps from the beach up a gorgeous sidewalk path. We will definitely be coming back here again!!!

I have never stayed anywhere as amazing as this house!! Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect walking distance to the beach and Belmont Park. I stayed with my husband and 3 kids (13, 8, and 5). We enjoyed the huge kitchen, giant comfy couch, and TV in the all bedrooms. We had people constantly stopping to tell us how much they loved the house and asking how/where we rented it.

We had 2 families, each with a 9 mo old, and another couple. The place had a pak and play that was used in the master. We had a Guava Lotus travel crib in the downstairs room that fit comfortably. The outside patio is super roomy, fit a pop up play pen just fine. Same play pen fit in the livig room. Lots of beach toys/amenities in the garage.
The garage is tight! But it fit our Suburu Ascent and the Kia rental, just had to be bumper to bumper.
Overall it's a great location, right next to the beach. The house is beautiful itself and the host was quick to respond, very friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time staying here on a our family vacation. The location is great - you can easily walk to the beach or nearby stores/restaurants. Easy drive to the Zoo or La Jolla area. The owners also provide a lot of great stuff to use at the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay and this property! Connie and Karl were wonderful at communicating and getting us everything we needed. Garage was a tight fit with a mini van but it worked! We had two littles with us under two and the space was honestly perfect with enough room to move around in. We loved all of the amenities and though it was too cold for a beach day for us they had everything you could want all stocked up! 10/10 would stay again.

We were continually impressed by the attention to detail that made our stay not only more comfortable but luxurious with the higher quality countertops, flooring, landscaping and lighting. We didn’t even want to leave and were content to stay at the property all day! We definitely want to come back in the future.

We absolutely loved this house. Not only was it charming and newly renovated, it was also very clean and the hosts allowed access to many household items including beach chairs, towels, toilet paper, cooking supplies etc. Location was great. Beach is a block away and there is no car traffic on the way. We could walk to eat, beach, and some convenient stores. There is garage parking too. The house set us up for a very fun and easy week in San Diego. We would definitely rent this house again.

The property was just as described. It is a gorgeous house with plenty of room. The communication with the owners was fantastic. They really went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. Not too close or far from the beach or bay. Very nice location. We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

The property exceeded out expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to book again. The only challenge was trying to park a Suburban in the garage as it is a very tight fit. The owners do mention this in their listing as well.

One of the reasons I booked this listing was mention of the beach gear - they had a lot! ~8 chairs, kites, 4 big shovels, 12+ buckets, frisbee, beach games, beach mats, wagon. Made going to the beach with kids as simple as loading up the wagon and walking 2 minutes through quiet alleys. Great food nearby, boardwalk with indoor swimming pool, arcade, rides. The house is obviously new construction and well done with beautiful countertops and doors that open wide to the fenced in patio. We used the pack and play. They also had a high chair. Kitchen well stocked with the basics and some nice welcome snacks which were clutch with kids post plane flight prior to being able to get to the store. We would stay again!

We loved our time at this property! The house is incredible and in such a great location! The hosts are awesome, they are so kind and we love getting to know them! We hosted a few friends for dinner one night and it was perfect. The kitchen has all the supplies you would need to Host a small dinner party! Being able to walk to the beach was another plus! If we are ever in the area again we will be staying! Thank you again!

You will not find a better property than this one. The structure is built extremely well. It has great furnishings. Kitchen is top notch. Tandem garage was plenty big for a 2021 Toyota Sedan and a 1997 Toyota 4Runner. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this Mission Beach VRBO. The accommodations were all that we hoped for. Location was excellent. We enjoyed walks along the beach and the bay. Sunsets were beautiful. Would recommend to our friends.

The house had everything we needed. It didn't feel like a "rental", it was very nice. Location was perfect. The area felt clean/safe. Karl/Connie (the owners) were very helpful but not intrusive. We would absolutely stay again.

The home is beautiful and the furnishings and linens are upscale and feels luxurious. We felt super comfortable as a family of 5 staying. It was a short 1 minute walk to the boardwalk on a walkway so that was really convenient. We loved the character and charm of Mission Beach and loved all the amenities the home offered. There were welcome snacks for us too - every detail was thought of including a wagon for the beach, beach towels and chairs, toys and game. The couch was huge and comfty and there was plenty of seating for everyone. The 3 full baths was awesome so no fighting over bathroom time. Blackout shades were great so the kids could sleep in. The neighborhood was really nice and quiet over all - you could hear cars at night but nothing crazy. The garage is small but we were able to navigate our minivan rental so it worked out great and had no issues with parking. Wonderful stay and hope to come back one day. The hosts were so nice and greeted us by chance - we bumped into them but they gave us our privacy.

The VRBO was clean and up to date. The owners were very responsive when needed and we only needed them once. Great location for restaurants, access to beach and the bay. They even offered us a pediatrician for our daughter who had an ear infection. They truly care about making sure you’re welcomed and have a great time! I would definitely rent from them again!
