We really enjoyed the house. The cacti, mature Joshua trees and mountains were so pretty! The bed and sofa were very comfortable and the kitchen had all cooking necessities! Loved our long stay! Would recommend this house to a friend!

We had a great time here! The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our family of five. We especially appreciated the hot tub after our days climbing and hiking in Joshua Tree! Host was very helpful and has clearly put a lot of work into making a great vacation property. Highly recommend.

Great property really cute and quirky really love that it was different. we had a lot of fun stayed there with my grandmother and my aunts lots to do, able to grill outside play games enjoy the fire pit more like a fireplace and enjoyed breakfast outside on the deck overall great experience! beautiful property

We enjoyed our stay here so much! The house is lovely and comfortable. We didn't want to leave. The outdoor spaces are amazing, so many spots to view the surroundings and relax with a book. The hot tub was great. Hummingbirds, quail, jack rabbits visited outside. We spent the days in Joshua tree and poking around the local points of interest. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope to come back again!

Absolutely loved our stay here! Perfect for 3 single adults who each want their own bed! Plenty of space inside and out to relax. Uniquely decorated with an adundance of character! Easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park, also not too far from Palm Springs and Desert Hot Springs. Would definitely stay here again!

This house has many welcoming amenities and thoughtful touches. It felt like home. We rearranged our days to have all our meals at the house, and left lots of time for relaxing. A big family is able to spread out and have alone time/space for each person. Highly recommended.

If you're thinking of booking this house, just do it. My partner and I are both remote workers, so we spent time here working during the week and exploring the national park on weekends and at night. The property was lovely, filled with hummingbirds, bunnies, and good vibes. The internet was reliable. It had everything you'd need, and was just a great space.

Our family of five had a an amazing two night stay at this house. The owner has included a bunch of little touches throughout the house to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There is ton of space to spread out, and there is plenty to do for entertainment or relaxation (big TVs, hot tub, comfy chairs). The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to make a great meal. The shower gets hot in a hurry. Views for miles all around. All in all this was great place for out family to hang, relax, and spend some quality time together. The owner was great at communicating and getting the information we needed to get the most of our stay. We would recommend the property to anybody that wants to get away and relax all within a stones throw of JNP!

We wanted to take my 84 year old mom on a trip for Thanksgiving. It was perfect and we didn't leave the property at all. We had everything we needed to prepare the big dinner. So much to do! Kids loved it from my 5 year old niece, up to my 24 year old son. We played jenga outside, dominos and enjoyed the outdoor chimney, The space is open so while some cooked, others watched tv but we were all together. Lizette has taken the time to decorate and paint. For those of you that love to take pics, get your cameras ready. She gave us a great experience! We hope to stay there again.

We were looking an amazing getaway for the weekend and this place did not disappoint. The pictures and videos will give you an idea, but the property has so much more to offer. We appreciated all of the extra thought and detail that Lizette put into both the indoor and outdoor spaces and loved how centrally located it was. Communication and check in/out was great. Enjoyed every minute, this place is a gem!

I absolutely LOVED my stay at the Desert Forest. The home was so spacious and creatively painted. I loved the enclosed patio where I sat and had my coffee every morning while watching the birds and rabbits run around. The wood burning fire stove was incredible. It was so nice to be under the stars enjoying the fire. I can’t say enough about how much I love to this experience. I can’t wait to come back again soon.

This property was better than advertised. The layout was perfect and gave everyone the opportunity to be all together or to be on their own if they wanted to. There were several unique and separate outdoor spaces to take in the desert and the Hot Tub was perfect. We all hopped in after the sun went down and enjoyed the stars in the sky!! I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in the kitchen. There was plenty of counter space as well as everything I needed to cook and the Coffee Bar set-up was exactly as it should be. This will become a regular spot for our family. Looking forward to the next visit.
