Our Family came down for the Gateway Dirt Nationals. Everything from check in to check out was great. Plenty of space for everyone with king beds and 3 bathrooms. It was a great stay!

I would rent this place out again if I ever have another group trip here!

The cleaning crew needs to be told about dust. The garage is an asset but it is filthy. There were piles of rags, recycle trash and just dirty. I swept out because did not want to track dust, dirt into kitchen.Recycleables tub filled
in garage - flagged down garbage truck to get rid of them.
No Welcome book with instructions for fan/lights in living room, TV remote. Towels were very damp but folded at ends of beds at entry - we used dryer right away.Only one small towel rack in bathrooms, no hooks on back of bathroom doors, stove burners filthy. Board lifted on top step on backporch- tripping hazard. Would be nice to have a mirror in each bedroom. Terrible lighting in living room, need floor lamps behind couch for reading. No non slip strips in bathtubs. HOT and COLD reversed in tubs/showers. Back stairs need safety gate. Dining room chair ready to collapse.

We stayed for a long weekend with friends and their kids. The location was great for us. The house had enough bedrooms for our group of 10. Biggest complaint is the garage and back yard were dirty and unkempt. The house is set up to host kids but doesn’t offer any safe outside space. I just feel like there were some details lacking: hooks for towels in the bathrooms/bedrooms, baby gates for the steep back stairs, and a door for the room overlooking the street and balcony. Overall it worked for us for a long weekend but I wouldn’t necessarily stay there again.

We are STL locals and had our wedding this past weekend (10/7/23) and the owner was amazing and let us book for the guys to get ready there! The interior is beautiful and I can’t wait to see the pictures! Plenty of space for everyone, we had a full house (14) and no one felt too packed. Check out was super simple as well, the gates in the back were a bit tricky to get back in the drilled hole, but other than that, 10/10 stay. I hope to book with them if I ever need a local stay again!

The multiple rooms allowed for different configurations to sleep our family/extended family of 13. Beds were very comfortable. With the house having 4 floors we were initially worried sound from laughter and conversations would carry throughout the house. It didn't!!!! None of us were woke up because of noise caused by others.
The location of this house was perfect. Less than a 10 minute drive to zoo, aquarium, arch, cathedral, art gallery, crown candy. Walking distance to an abundance of dining options.
Lots of potential with the house in regards to cleanliness and readiness appearance. Arrived ~ 1 hr after check-in time and greeted by the cleaning staff still wrapping up. Leftover items from prior guests noted under a few beds. Several closets with leftover belongings thrown in them. Ants observed on staircase and kitchen (opposite parts of house). Roach like bugs on main floor and 2nd floor. Basement & 3rd floor not for use but suspect basement needs serious attention (mold?)!!! Linens in linen closets were thrown in there, lacked folding and organization. Several furniture items w/ broken legs or very wobbly on main floor. Kitchen counter, floor and dining table required us to clean ourselves up on arrival due to sticky residue. Guessing breakfast syrup on table and unknown on counter & floor. In the garage there was plenty of used cups and trash left scattered. Leftover trash observed on back deck. Carpet in house should be replaced.

We had a great time during our family stay. We came for an extended family trip and the house fit our family nicely. The location was great, 15 minute drive to everywhere we wanted to go (City Museum, Union Station). There were lots of restaurants within walking distance which was nice. The house was comfortable and street parking was never an issue. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed to cook. Our only complaints are to have the cleaning staff either wash or replace the bathroom rugs. The carpet also needs professional cleaning. The bottoms of our feet would turn black after showering and walking around on the carpets. The dryer also took forever to dry. We did a load of towels and the lint trap was clean and had to run the towels through a few dry cycles for them to get completely dry so the vent may be clogged and need cleaned out.

We reserved this property for a family reunion. Our group consisted of 8 adults and five children of ages 2 through 7. The house was able to accommodate this size group with ease. There was plenty for all of us to get together at the same time or also have private time if needed. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen had everything needed and the wi-fi handled up to 10 simultaneous connections without a problem.
The house is located in a very nice neighborhood and very convenient to the locations which interested us. The Arch, Busch Stadium, the City Museum and the Zoo.

As I have stated earlier, we enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the large living and dinig room. I have a few suggestions: a full- length mirror, a welcome packet that includes the wifi code, knobs on the kitchen cabinets, and many more towel racks. We will definately stay with VRBO in the future.

We were 14 family members coming from Argentina and Canada to our son's wedding. The place was large enough to accomodate everyone comfortably to share many memorable moments. Beds were clean and comfy, overall the place was spotless and well stocked ( only exception was the lack of teaspoons, there was only 2 but we had dispossables so we were ok). Communication was excellent, I got instant answers every time I reached out to them.
Location was great, close to everything.

Cleaning crew is clearly not earning their keep. kitchen and bath floors filthy. carpets clearly not vacuumed prior to arrival. Nice king size beds and quite comfy. Multiple dining chairs unstable and in need of repair. House that allegedly sleeps 14 and there were zero spoons in the kitchen, and 6 forks. what the heck. Not a single dishtowel or hotpad in kitchen. 8 washcloths total in home. no extra bath towels anywhere.

We loved the house. Plenty of room for all of us & the location was working a few miles of everything we wanted to do. Only suggestion - there weren’t any kitchen towels/wash clothes or oven mitts. If our training is there again next year, we will absolutely stay again!

Property was perfect for several couples and an elderly grandparent. Neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors friendly. Landscaping and garage could use a little love as it is very overgrown and the garage had garbage, and old rags strewn about it but the house was clean and exactly as described. Perfect location for the wedding we were attending in Soulard and close to everthing in St Louis

We have a family of 11 taking a trip to see the Cardinals. This house was large enough that we all had our own room. The beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect for all the things we wanted to do ( Arch, Brewery & Aquarium). Our host checked on us & responded quickly to my emails. Highly recommend staying here. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had a lot of space, which was perfect for our four families with kids to stay at. They had games and activities available as well, which was great. The listing was accurate, and the check in process was super easy. The location is great - a quick drive to anywhere. The beds were very comfortable. The only negative I can say is that the carpets could probably use a good cleaning, but that had no bearing on our stay. We had a wonderful weekend trip and would definitely rent from here again.!

Spacious house for families.
We had a large group that consisted of my husband and and me, 2 of our adult children with their spouses and children. There was plenty of space for the children to run and play. Suited our needs very well.

This is a decent structure in a good location, but the furnishing, lighting, etc. are neither welcoming nor convenient. If this place is to work as a vacation rental, it should be set up with more than one giant dining table, one large sectional sofa and 7 bedrooms. For example, ALL of the chairs are on the main floor, while there are 6 large bedrooms upstairs. There are no conversation areas, game tables, reading chairs, reading lamps, getaway lounging spots, no outdoor furnishings.
Except for a noisy HVAC with complicated controls (and no instructions), this could be made into a pleasant place. As is, it looks like new beds and a minimal amount of old furniture dumped into a vacant house.

This property was a perfect spot for three families to stay together! We had 11 kids between the families (including 3 babies), and we really didn’t feel cramped at all. Plenty of space, very kid friendly, very clean, and well stocked. The area was also perfect! Conveniently located, and it felt very safe. ABODEbucks was great throughout the whole process as well. Highly recommend!
