No smoking.. The Dairy Barn is a lovely semi-detached single storey holiday home set on the Devon/Somerset border within a beautifully rural location. Situated in Westleigh, which is just a ten minute drive from Tiverton, the property is approached by a private lane with beautiful views just waiting to be discovered. With delightful walks right on your doorstep, The Dairy Barn is perfect for guests looking to enjoy the peace and quiet of a Devon beauty spot. After a fun-filled day exploring Devon, you can kick back on the comfortable sofas in the open plan living/ dining area and relax in front of the Freeview TV or enjoy a homecooked meal at the dining table. The kitchen has all the essential appliances such as an electric cooker, microwave, a washing machine and an under-the-counter fridge. There is a tumble dryer in the porch area by the front door. Two bedrooms await, the first is a double, whilst the second has twin beds, both are comfortably furnished and have a light, airy effect. The shower room which has a shower cubicle and a wash basin and a separate toilet, is accessed via the kitchen. Outside guests will enjoy use of the garden which has outdoor seating overlooking the surrounding fields, a lovely spot for relaxing in the sunshine. Situated in the village of Westleigh, to the east of Tiverton and south of Taunton, the location provides a quiet retreat. Westleigh is conveniently located close to the popular village of Holcombe Rogus and the larger village of Sampford Peverell which provides a good range of amenities including convenience store and two pubs. To the east is the M5 (J27) with main line intercity rail connections available adjacent to this junction at Tiverton Parkway. There are plenty of footpaths, great coarse angling fishing in the nearby Grand Western Canal, just a 5 minute walk away from the property, plus there are several National Trust stately homes and gardens within easy reach, including Knightshayes Court, a striking gothic mansion with extensive grounds. Tiverton, just nine miles away offers some interesting places in amongst the hustle and bustle of everyday life, including Tiverton Museum of Mid Devon Life. Westleigh is located only 15 miles from Exmoor, where you will find stags, streams and breathtaking scenery, along with the town of Dulverton and Dunster village. Exeter and Taunton are a 30 minute drive away offering shops, theatres and restaurants. Within an hour are a variety of beautiful beaches on the North and South Devon coast such as Woolacombe, Saunton, Sidmouth and Exmouth. With beautiful surroundings, The Dairy Barn is the perfect choice for a truly memorable holiday. This is a great base for touring rural inland Devon, often missed by tourists heading for the coast.
