About this house rental
The Salty Kure is a short walk to the beach and is central to both Carolina Beach/Kure Beach. (3rd Floor Bedroom has connecting bathroom. New sectional in the main room ~ new photos coming). Home is turnkey, in a quiet location, and spacious for large group vacations (2 king suites). Beach access located at 1004 1/2 Fort Fisher Boulevard with a seasonal lifeguard and is NOT surrounded by high rise condos or large crowds. Enjoy partial ocean views from kitchen and dining rooms hear the ocean waves from the two large front decks. AMENTITIES - bed linens, extra pillows & blankets - bath and beach towels - beach chairs, carts, coolers and some toys - hair dryers, shampoo, liquid bathing soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent - grill - bikes - aero bed GROUND LEVEL - outside shower on the side of the house - garage for 1 vehicle, beach gear - additional driveway parking for 3/4 cars SECOND FLOOR - primary Master, at front of house with a King bed, TV/Roku, private bath with tub, separate toilet and shower, private front deck - Secondary master suite with a king and full-size bed, TV/Roku, direct access to shared full bath - linen closet in hall bath with bath and beach towels - bedroom with a queen bed - washer and dryer in laundry closet outside of the primary THIRD FLOOR - bedroom behind kitchen with queen bed, TV/Roku and PS3/Blu-Ray DVD player gaming console - full bath with connecting door - stocked kitchen - 8' table with bench & chairs perfect for large groups - kitchen bar stools - living room with 75" smart TV/Roku content streaming, PS3 - video and board games, cards and movies for kids and adults - deck - fire extinguisher is in the kitchen pantry Please respect these rules while staying at this property: - No PETS allowed including service animals. The house was beautiful and very clean. Our family had 8 adults, 3 kids, and a baby. It accommodated us well. The owner was very helpful and replied quickly to any questions I had. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

This property is definitely a 5 star location. Clean and filled with every amenity possible. There is a clear attention to details. The communication with the owner was very strong. She checked in throughout the week and answered all questions. I highly recommend this location!!

The house was everything the description said it would be, and they respond to questions very quickly. Everything was very easy and quick.
The house had toys for the kids to play with and a close walk to the beach with plenty of chairs, beach toys and a canopy for shade.
I would highly recommend this location and would rent it again.

We loved our stay. The beach was very close and Renee had every beach accessory you could ever want. The home was beautifully decorated, comfortable and so, so clean! It was really nice not have to rush out and get things like paper towels and dish soap too, as all of that stuff is generously provided by the host. You will love your time here. The only thing I'd recommend is to bring some house shoes, as the bamboo floors can be hard on your feet after standing on them for a while.

Best part: living space–wide open, lots of seating, gave us what we wanted. We loved the provided amenities. Con: the rug in the family room was “sheddy” & left mementos on our clothing if we lay on it–likely had to do with the material.
Pro: kitchen. Had all we needed, even a water filter. All we used worked properly.
Pro: modest bedrooms. Comfy beds & linens–not showy, but room for exercise. Daughter enjoyed the provided toys. The setup of the beds/baths worked well.
Mild Con: scent of air freshener in various places in the home. We’re very sensitive to smells & noticed it right away. Diffuser sticks in 2 bathrooms gave off a strong smell. (Our host told us about the sticks ahead of time & gave us the option to put them away if needed if they were out when we arrived.) Not all of the beds/baths had a strong scent, & we were able to adjust. The common area didn’t have the scent. It was mainly in the entry area, third floor bathroom, primary bed/bath, & around the laundry machines. **It should be noted that we’re more sensitive than the average person & most may not notice.**
Pro: Proximity to the beach! Easy walking distance. Hosts provided beach towels, toys, chairs, & a wagon to make the beach trip even more fun. **The outdoor shower had warm water!**
Pro: host had stellar communication. Queries were answered quickly & our needs were met. There was some confusion about the checkout procedure, but it was quickly clarified.

The house is beautifully decorated, and outfitted with great appliances, comfortable furniture and beds, short easy walk to the beach (and plenty of nice beach stuff), great showers, and all the things you need. We had a wonderful graduation weekend with family and the house gave us the perfect setting!

This was by far one of the best properties we have rented for a vacation. The house was spectacular. Everything described in the description was accurate and even better. Communication with owner was great. Our only regret was that we have to leave. We will definitely be back for a future stay.

Our stay at this house made for a wonderful family vacation! It is by far the most beautiful and well equipped place we have ever stayed. From the bed linens to the dishes everything is top notch. You could literally step off a plane with just your suitcase and come here.
Great location, short walk to the beach or drive to boardwalk. Any concerns were very quickly handled by Renee. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property! It is beautifully decorated, well maintained and perfectly stocked with everything you need for a great family vacation at Kure/Carolina beach! Renee was very responsive to the few questions we did have. Lots of outside items for the beach (no need to bring anything!) including tent, lots of great chairs, and carts. Large open floor plan in the living space and great kitchen with everything you need! Loved it!

The home was immaculately clean and we all felt good about letting our babies and toddlers crawl around in the floor. There were so many things provided that made life much easier and allowed us to not have to pack as much when already traveling with all the gear for small children. The home even provided two baby gates for the stairs and ample toys including legos, train tracks and board games which kept the kids entertained all week. We hardly needed anything for the beach as the home provided beach chairs, a shibumi, loads of sand toys, trailers/wagons to pull beach gear down to beach and more than enough beach towels. We also found the walking distance to be easy even with all the kids. They all either walked or rode in wagons and we were on the sand in no more than 5 minutes each day. We really appreciate Renee’s attention to detail and cleanliness which made our trip very enjoyable and provided for wonderful memories with our families! We would absolutely visit the home again in the future.

Roku TV's made it easy to watch what we wanted (no cable TV though). Loved having the outside shower to wash off before going back inside. We spent a lot of time in the huge open concept top floor where the den/kitchen/dining and balcony were located. Rocking chairs on top balcony for our 90 year old Grandmother. Some of the photos on here are not updated. I would say they just need to update the joint bathroom mat and the second beach cart handle as it's missing a third tire and cumbersome to pull. Other than that, no need to complain. Owner was really nice and easy to contact.

Fantastic home away from home!
The house was beautifully decorated and well outfitted with everything we needed - quality bedding, towels (beach towels too!), a kitchen that had everything you needed to cook meals, even shampoo, conditioner and bodywash in every shower! The home was very clean and well maintained with lots of extras - sand toys for my grandchildren, wagons to bring all our stuff to the beach, beach chairs, an umbrella, and a great propane grill. Renee was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all our questions. My family had a great week together. Would definitely consider staying here again!

We ended up adding an extra night last minute and she helped coordinate the whole process for us. We had everything we could imagine and more. There are full bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There are plenty of towels and they are nice quality. Tons of kitchen supplies, everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner. The amount of extras makes packing for your trip a breeze. There was no need to bring beach chairs, coolers or towels. It felt like you were staying at a family beach house, not wanting for anything. We already want to book our next trip just so that we can stay again!

Perfect stay
This home is gorgeous. Impeccably decorated & CLEAN. Mattresses were top of the line & heavenly. Stocked with everything you need for your stay. Even extra toothbrushes, hair ties, body wash, shampoo, etc. The neighborhood is quiet, but still close to everything on the island. The beach chairs & bikes were nice to have. Host was very responsive, even allowed early check in & late check out since the house was available to do so. Our family of 10 couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. It was just perfect. Many memories made. We didn't want to leave!
