Desoto State Park is only a 10 minute drive away. Both areas offer water activities, loads of hiking and mountain biking. Only 10 minutes away from Fort Payne Alabama with multiple choices of restaurants and shopping. Can sleep 3 if you use the day bed in the living room. We absolutely loved staying here! It was very clean and perfect for the two of us! The stairs to the bedroom loft were a bit narrow and the stair steps were pretty far apart. We couldnt have asked for a better place to stay!! We will definitely be back!!! Veryvery quiet, beautiful sunsets, gorgeous views of the stars and very private! Ple ty of supplies and clear instructions for the property requirements! Very fun and cozy place!

We loved the area the cabin was nice but it had roaches so we only stayed one night! I think they may have had a visitor that brought the roaches in the home! This was mine and my husbands 18th anniversary trip so I was really disappointed that we could not stay the whole time! I suggest you spray continuously also add a griddle and replace the mattress it was awful!

This tiny house was in a great location with great views of the mountains. Owner was quick to respond to issues we had with the home and to fix them. The kitchen needs some more silverware and the refrigerator is a mini fridge.

The property is nice, located near the attractions we wanted desoto and little river canyon. Good food nearby at canyon rim and in fort Payne. If you plan to eat at the cabin get things to grill or microwave unless it can be done in a toaster oven

We didn’t have long to stay in this sweet little cabin, but enjoyed it very much. Owner was friendly and responsive. Place was clean, decor was cute, view was amazing! Afternoon summer rainstorm on the metal roof right over the bed pushed it over the top! I would debate whether the bed is king-sized—seemed like a queen to us—but that just made our nap all the more cozy. Just keep that in mind as you’re looking at the pics and visualizing yourself or your guests there. Also, I agree with other reviewers that the stairs are steep. For reference, my husband and I are in our 50s and active. We had no trouble with the stairs, but older or more sedentary folks might. Lovely, unique place—would definitely stay again.

This Is the most adorable cabin ever! Very clean and cozy. After a long drive it was such a thoughtful gesture for the cabin to have snacks and drinks. The owner was super easy to reach and work with. We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay. Owners were great at communicating. Cabin was clean and stocked with some drinks and snacks, which was a thoughtful bonus. The location was great we visited Georgia and Tennessee while we were there, which were pretty close by. Staircase was a little tight for my 6'2" and 240 lb husband, but still manageable. We would definitely recommend staying there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was cozy & clean; and we loved the rustic design. The sunset view on the front porch was lovely. The host was very hospitable. Communication was great too. Highly recommend this property if you're looking for a nice, peaceful getaway.

Beautiful views

The cabin was very clean and smelled great throughout the stay. The sunset view was amazing. It is in a very quiet area. We did see some deer across the road in the field eating. The stairs to the loft are pretty narrow and the shower is very small but it wasn't too bad. Overall it is a very nice place for a couple to getaway and enjoy some piece and quiet. Great communication from the host and no issues at all while we were there for 3 nights.
