Nestled in Lamoine, this charming house for R 18,618 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Just 27 minutes to Acadia National Park, this pristine, newer-construction home is situated on 2/3 acres and is well-appointed with everything you need to fully experience an incredible Maine Coast Vacation! Fine linens, comfy furnishings, upscale coastal decor, and a fireplace create a cozy atmosphere inside. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils and small appliances. There's even a lobstah pot to accomodate your Maine lobster feast! With huge windows and a deck along the entire back of the home, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park just across the bay, wake up to brilliant sunrises, listen to the sounds of seagulls and loons and watch the lobster boats check their traps. Enjoy nature as you look for seashells on the private beach and enjoy the soothing sounds of the babbling brook next to the "Lobster Shack' on the side of the property. Expansive lawn for games and gatherings for friends and family. Comfortably sleeps 8 people. Private loft-style owner's suite is upstairs with deluxe private bathroom with soaker tub, and its own balcony. Second bedroom is on the main floor and has a queen bed and full bathroom. On the lower level, there is a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, a separate living area, a full kitchen, and a large laundry room. This is a tucked-away luxury retreat, yet convenient to all the attractions: the quaint town of Bar Harbor, the rocky coast of Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, and only 2:20 hours to hiking in Baxter State Park featuring Mount Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appliachian Trail. Our home is only 15 minutes to Ellsworth where there are lots of restaurants, great pizza and lobster rolls. (Also fast food) Two major supermarkets are in town along with a Walmart, Home Depot and TJMax. Ellsworth boasts a quaint thriving downtown area with cute shops and dining/breweries. AND a great place to buy live lobster on the way back to our place from Ellsworth. Candlepin bowling and mini golf nearby and indoor rock climbing coming soon! So much to see and do, we hope you enjoy!

This property is beautiful! The house was very clean and very well kept. The furnishings and amenities were beautiful. We had a wonderful stay at this home. Close enough to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park for ease of travel without being too close. Communication with the Property Manager was fantastic. Check in process was very easy. Highly recommend this home for your vacation stay in Maine!

The house is in a great spot. Close enough to Acadia and all the Harbors of Mt. Desert Island that a 20 to 30 minute ride gets you to most scenic places. The house is clean and comfortable and access to the water is fantastic. The kitchen is setup nicely. We concur with a previous review that fruit flies were odly present. The house needs a comfy furniture set for the deck and a proper gas grill and coffee pot. The area is residential making a walk or bike ride on quiet roads seem safe. The open concept of the house let's noise from the 1st and 2nd floors travel clearly. The bunk beds need an upgrade of the mattresses.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. Our grandchildren loved playing on the beach. We had 4 adults and 4 children and the house was perfect for our group. Close to Bar Harbor and to Acadia National Park. Communication with the Property Manager was quick and easy. Check in process was very easy. Highly recommend this home for your vacation stay in Maine!

Perfect place for my family and I to enjoy a few relaxing days before dropping our daughter off at summer camp. The waterfront views are breathtaking. I appreciated the kitchen being fully equipped with anything you would need and the comfortable beds & linens. We will definitely be back!

The home was beautiful, the view; breathe-taking! We enjoyed the large deck with a bonus of seeing seals on a daily basis. Close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Slightly surprised by the bathroom/laundry room combined in the lower level of the house - but overall 5 stars! We would recommend this location.

We cannot say enough great things about this property! We had such a great vacation staying here for 5 nights (8 adults + 3 kids). It was so spacious and comfortably slept 11 of us. The location was perfect and worth the 35 min drive to Bar Harbor to be in a remote and peaceful house with a beautiful rock beach right out front to enjoy the days in the sun, sunset on the deck, and star gazing at night by the fire pit. The house was stocked with all supplies you could possibly need. We can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property has amazing views of the water where we were able to relax and also observe the local wildlife including harbor seals (which was a real treat). The home is updated and was super clean on our arrival. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with equipmemt you might need to prepare meals. Definitely would recommend!

Well-appointed summer home in peaceful seaside location
This oceanfront home on Frenchman’s Bay is located in a quiet neighborhood, only 30 minutes from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and Acadia. The house itself is relatively new but feels homey, and lacks for nothing in terms of amenities; there are high-end and thoughtful features throughout the house. The hosts were very responsive. We really enjoyed the views of Acadia and Cadillac Mountain, and the lobster boats from the deck, the seaside firepit, and a very comfortable master bed. It was a great week in an idyllic setting. Thank you!

Love the peaceful location
Such a beautiful place, and we would have been happy just enjoying the private beach and the views. The home was very well equipped with anything we needed. Lots of linens, kitchen was well stocked, and it was very clean. There were even fishing pools for the boys to use. The kids loved exploring and fishing. I loved sitting on the deck taking in all of the beauty. But we did venture into Bar Harbor and Acadia Park …lots to do there. I would highly recommended this place if you want privacy but close to so many things to do. The views are amazing!

Beautiful property!
Location is kind of far from Acadia and Bar Harbor (35 minutes), but after you see the view from here, it is more than worth it! Place is very clean, the owner's pay close attention to details with games, cooking materials, soap, shampoo, towels, bug spray, sun screen, etc... very comfortable and worthwhile. Thanks for being a big part of a trip of a lifetime!

Amazing Location, Spectacular Views
We’ve stayed at many rental properties, but this home is by far one of our favorites. The house is beautiful, recently remodeled and everything was brand new. We were particularly impressed with the interior décor and attention to detail. In addition to spectacular ocean views and gorgeous sunrises and sunsets, it was very cozy and had everything we could possibly need for a great stay. The basement is a cute area for kids to hang out and do their thing while parents enjoy some down time upstairs. The area/neighborhood was extremely quiet, and watching the lobster boats go past the home, in addition to the tide rushing in on the massive rocks, only added to a great Maine experience! The cleaning crew did an amazing job, as the home was immaculate, presentation was impeccable upon entering, all beds were well made and everything smelled fresh and clean! Beds were extremely comfortable and the windows, sliding doors, bathrooms and floors all sparkled! This was greatly appreciated, especially in these Covid times. The property is very convenient and close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor and only 15 minutes to major supermarkets and restaurants. The owners are very responsive, answering questions within minutes, and suggested a constellation app that was a lot of fun for us on those crisp evenings with a star-studded sky. They even sent a link during our stay for a meteor shower that was supposed to occur, which was very thoughtful. Overall, a great stay and we plan to return to this gem!

Beautiful home in quiet area
We absolutely loved staying at this property. Even though it is about 40 min from inside the national park it was still worth the drive to be able to sit on the deck to peace and quiet. The beds were very comfy and bedding great! My kids loved this house!! Everything was new!! My only minor issue with property was basement door needs a deadbolt dunces it’s right by the kid room. We would stay here again. The owners are very responsive and I wouldn’t think twice about renting from them again.
