Great place!

It was a great house. It was a little odd that the “master bedroom” with the only king bed was downstairs where the kids slept. My husband & I decided to stay in one of the smaller upstairs rooms where the main living & kitchen is. Easy walk into town and to the beach which was great. House did have a lot of rules. As a beach house homeowner that rents out (in a different town) we found the strict rules a bit much. But overall a great stay.

We had a lovely weekend at this property. The house was spacious and lovely and perfect for our family of 9. The walk to the beach was short which was fun at low tide. Even walked to town for a nice lunch at a Mexican restaurant. The furniture was very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Thanks for a great time!

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, had the space we needed for our family of 10, and had everything we needed for our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the sounds and views of the ocean from the deck upstairs. The beach was beautiful and location perfect for what we wanted for our family’s holiday.

This is a wonderful home at the beach. We were there with our two young adult daughters and their friends. Everything about the house was lovely. We loved the location, the layout of the home and all the little details. I would highly recommend for a group with multi-generations!

Most enjoyable 3-day stay. Host is extremely responsive. Well provisioned and roomy rental is immaculate and close to miles of beach. Loved the heated floors.

We've stayed at many STR's throughout the country and put this one in the top tier. Very well thought out, decorated, and stocked/equipped. We had one small issue that was addressed as quickly as one could ask. We like the property so much that we've already booked it for a future visit.

We chose this place because we had two less mobile guests with us, but we also had two rowdy kids, two dogs, and another friend -- this gorgeous house was perfect for our needs. Lots of space, light and bright. I assumed the downstairs area that we would have to use for ourselves and the kids would not be very nice -- I was wrong. Except for needing to use the kitchen, we were completely comfortable hanging out downstairs and loved having a totally separate area to hang with the kids while the older members of our group rested upstairs.

We really loved our stay at Joana's beach house in Manzanita! We were a group of 4 adults and 1 teenager and we had plenty of space to spread out, relax and enjoy time together. The house was spotless and very well organized. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and super comfortable. We especially loved that we could see the ocean from the giant front deck, and the beach itself was just a short 2 minute walk from the house. The hosts were super easy to communicate with and very helpful in providing us all of the necessary directions/instructions. We would definitely recommend this beach house!

We had a great time! Loved the decor cleanliness and accommodations. The furniture was perfect. The ramp was a must for us. Love the location!

We had a great time in this beautiful house that was comfortable, well thought out in every way! We especially loved the big light filled room upstairs, the comfy sofas and big kitchen. Joana is very responsive and runs the house professionally.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The house was nicely updated and very clean. There is clear pride of ownership in this property. The location is ideal—2 min walk to the beach and 5 min walk to town, yet it feels like you’re tucked far away in a quiet part of town. The house itself is great. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, lots of seating for the family in its two living areas. Several TVs, smart home accessories including Alexas, automatic door locks, and exterior cameras, bidets in both bathrooms, beach toys and chairs available. Truly wonderful. Would absolutely rent again!

Amazing home with every ammenity you can think of. Honestly, it had the most well-stocked kitchen of any VRBO that we've stay at! Beautiful, welcoming, thoughtfully decorated, close to the beach, with space for us to spread out. Ceiling fans in every room, fireplaces, beach supplies, the list goes on. Be aware, there is no A/C. With those big, western facing windows, warm days heat the house up. We brought a couple of fans to help circulate air.

Despite a series of unfortunate issues the first day (wrong code programmed to unlock the doors to the house; a broken propane grill which resulted in a fireball upon lighting and some singed hair (luckily no one was hurt!!); and then fire alarms going off at 3am which scared all of us and our kiddos) we had a nice stay. Joana was very responsive to all these issues and had a brand new grill at the property the next day and replaced all the batteries in the smoke detectors. The house is lovely, bright and clean with nice decor. We very much appreciated the beach wagon loaded with chairs and sand toys! In the evenings, we enjoyed watching movies on the large TV and star gazing on the deck. It was a great homebase for exploring the nearby beaches and parks. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bidets with heated seats in the bathrooms were a nice luxury touch.

Joana's house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was impeccably clean, the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking, communication was quick, and there was plenty of space for the kids (ages 1 through 8) to play. The beach was close enough that even my 2-year-old could manage the walk and there is plenty to do within stroller distance. Great house!

We stayed in this house with 7 adults and three kids. It was fantastic! The entire house was very clean, the deck is sunny with a great view and it's only a couple blocks from the beach! There was even a wagon for us to use to bring to the beach!

We all enjoyed the house. Our kids and grandkids from Kentucky absolutely enjoyed the stay!

Best furnished home we have ever stayed in. They thought of everything!

This property was wonderful. Convenient to the beach and downtown. The deck was amazing and the house was very clean. Great place for a big family or a couple of families together.

My husband, two daughters, son-in-law and three grandchildren stayed in this house for five days. This house is beautiful! I was hesitant to write a review because I want this house to be available for us next year! Haha. There are ceiling fans in every room, which really helped when it got a little warm. The kitchen is very well stocked. I loved the leather couches and the ample storage spaces. The house is located only about a block from the beach. There is a small view of the water from the deck on the upper floor, but there are beautiful trees on a hill to the side of the house also. We found that this hill served to block the wind from the beach, so it was very pleasant to sit on the deck. The town is quiet and quaint, and downtown is only about 5 blocks from the house. The downstairs is great for a young family. There is a beautiful master bedroom with a TV and a fireplace, and king-size bed. There is also another bedroom and a kids' room, which was great for the grandkids. They loved the bunk beds in there. The other two bedrooms are upstairs. There were plenty of games and puzzles. The deck is gated, so it was a great way to let the dogs out without them getting off the property. There are hoses for washing off on the ground as well as on the deck. There is a nice grill on the deck, and a fire pit on the ground. The property manager answered my questions very quickly when we were getting ready to go there. The only things that could have made the house better for us would be a tub in one of the bathrooms, for the kids, and some sort of regular tv service, be it cable, satellite, or antennae. The TV's did have streaming services, though. And there were plenty of DVDs also. All in all, we loved the place and will be coming back next year!

A lovely, clean, quiet and well appointed house. There were five of us, so it was very nice to have five separate bed rooms. The common area was spacious and great spending time together as a group.
