Nestled in Wellfleet, this lovely house for R 10,372 per night is a great option for your next break. Kindly note: This newly listed private Outer Cape home is offered for responsible and respectful guest parties. Families are welcomed to book. This is a Sunday to Sunday rental (with a 4 night minimum stay if the booking is not a 7 night Sunday to Sunday booking). Thank you Description This charming historical home is a classic Greek Revival home built by an a Cape Cod Sea Captain in the 19th century. The home residence itself has been updated to be airy and welcoming with an open floor plan. The home is set well off of Route 6 with plenty of greenery and privacy. Nature centric designed ecological wildflower gardens attract birds and wildlife into the yard. Ample guest parking here. The front main driveway can easily hold seven vehicles with additional 6-8 car/truck overflow parking available. The main home is a light-filled space with keyless guest entry (via electronic keypad). The local property manager is proactive to ensure a comfortable and fun stay for your guest party. As you enter the main front door, you step into a spacious 13' x 26' dining room. The main dining room table can seat 6-10 guests - - - with an additional dining table which can seat 6-7 more guests. The heart of the home has been remodeled to create an open concept and well connected floor plan. It is rare to find such a spacious and warm first floor plan in a classic Greek Revival. Tastefully placed LED lighting (easily adjusted via remote operated sensors) has been utilized to create a cozy and relaxing ambiance after sunset. From the main dining room, two archways lead into the airy 20' x 20' kitchen with ample granite counter space. The kitchen has a huge stainless steel Thermador Fridge/Freezer and a Wolf gas double oven range. In addition, there is a Thermador dishwasher. There are three kitchen sinks a clean sink, a dish sink and a coffee station sink. The tastefully designed kitchen (renovated four years ago) is well appointed and has been stocked with spices, olive oil, etc for guest cooking. This property is event-friendly (can accommodate local catering options). In addition, a tasteful 1/2 bath is located right off the kitchen. Caterers/visitors can use the kitchen bath and need not enter the two main level private bedroom suites. Off the kitchen and dining room is a 14' x 30' Sunroom / Living room. This room has a wall-mounted Samsung 55" TV. The TV is loaded with cable and is connected to 5G wifi to access Netflix/other apps. The Sunroom / Living room contains uber-comfortable chocolate colored Italian leather sofas. There are several USB charge locations across the residence. Hi-speed 5G wifi is available throughout the residence. Signal boosters have been activated to support an efficient online experience. Off the dining room are two charming bedrooms (the Green and the Blue bedrooms) with a shared renovated 3/4 bathroom. There is also a new stacked washer/ dryer in the hallway cubby by the bedroom suite area. The original stairway (somewhat steep old Cape Cod style with narrow treads) leads upstairs from the dining room to the second floor landing. This leads to the two additional upstairs bedrooms (The Sand and Rose bedrooms). The upstairs bedrooms share a unique bathroom with a large tiled shower. The bathroom also serves as a hallway, that functions as a second access to the upstairs lounge area. The upstairs Lounge is a multi-functional area has a Samsung 50" TV, unique custom-designed LED lighting, custom walnut trim, and sleeper sofas that could sleep an additional 2-4 guests. The upstairs lounge/sleep area may be perfect for the younger/overflow members in your guest party. The open concept lounge room also has three remote-operated skylights. Guess can also descend a spiral staircase that leads downstairs to the airy kitchen area. Outside the grounds are an eco-friendly with natural themed wildflower and fruit gardens. Plenty of colorful songbirds. Habitat has been created for the local wildlife, native flowers and the beneficial bees and pollinators. The yard uses natural landscape resources to creatively design and help restore and regenerate the farmstead. Children and adults will enjoy interacting with nature and observing the colorful butterflies and wild birds in the native wildflower and fruit gardens. This fun homestead property will foster many fond memories.
