Flounder Inn offers a king size bed in the master bedroom located on the main floor along with a full bath and queen size sleeper sofa. Upstairs are two guest rooms and a half bath. One room has two twin beds and the other has a queen size bed. There is also a large wire pet kennel, and dog bed, bowls and toys for your furry friend. You’ll find Dish Network TV; plenty of games and puzzles and at your front door awaits a world to enjoy. The dock located on a short canal leading to the open Gulf is perfect for kayaking (3 kayaks are available for your use), crabbing, fishing, bird-watching, and cast netting for mullet. At high tide you'll see and hear mullet jump from the water as the osprey and cranes hunt in the canal. Ocean tides, constantly in motion, are nowhere more obvious than at Flounder Inn. It is not advisable to bring large boats and trailers, due to the space and configuration of the parking area. Launch your boat at the city marina or at Shell Mound Park and bring it around to the Flounder Inn dock. Be aware the extreme tidal changes mean there will be times you'll not be able to take your boat out from the dock or bring it into the dock.
