Everything was clean and comfortable. Owner is very nice, and was readily available for any questions we had. Close to skiing, white water rafting, and plenty of hiking. Cannot say enough good things. Thank you.

Loved being just minutes from Long point trail and the Canyon Rim visitor center to launch so many beautiful hikes. Really only at the cabin to shower and sleep so have no complaints. Our host had lots of helpful information ready for us and it was great to have morning coffee before heading out for sunrise hikes. Only little things we would have loved were some wall. hooks, luggage racks and Kleenex …. But still, perfect for our needs… would stay again. Oh and tho this has 3 bedrooms, id say it is best suited for two people given there is only one small bathroom!

Great communication with the owner, Bobbi. Had everything needed, so much so my wife thought this must be someone’s full time home.
Large yard for our dog and we used the fire pit both nights.
Not an issue for us (married couple) but if the other bedrooms are used, there’s only one Jack and Jill bathroom. Again, fine for a couple or a small family but probably not get for larger groups in spite of the 3 bedrooms)
Recommend for small groups.

Nice little place close to everything. Comfortable bed and lovely porch. We didn’t need anything but owner checked in with us to make sure everything was good.

Had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay here at this property. It was well appointed and equipped and had everything we needed. I would most definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice house with all the amenities you could ask for!
The host Bobbi was so friendly and helpful with great suggestions to eat and hike. Very close to downtown Fayetteville, a neat little town and a good location to explore New River Gorge National Park.

Very nice little house, clean & cozy. Jack-n-Jill bathroom would be best used by a family group rather than friends sharing the house, but it was just the 2 of us, so it was no problem. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the fire pit or outdoor space (it was cold & a little rainy), but there was plenty of firewood if we had wanted to use it!

This wonderful home was our base for exploring the New New River Gorge National Park. Home is decorated for region! Comfortable beds. Great kitchen. Fire pit to enjoy the evenings. Good local farm and craft market in Fayetteville. Will definitely return.

Booked this property based on the review and was very glad I did. It was the perfect size for our family of 4 adults and a small dog. The house was even more inviting than the pictures indicated and the kitchen was fully stocked for all our basic cooking needs. Location was ideal for sightseeing around New River Gorge National Park & Reserve. Bobbi was communicative throughout the process and the contactless check-in and check-out was a breeze. The only slight drawback was the noise at night from some rowdy neighborhood dogs (which indicted our our to bark) and high speed traffic on the adject road. It was really a problem for us but wanted to note it for any light sleepers. Overall, the property is as advertised and perhaps even better!

The house was perfect for what we needed. We were in Town for a wedding and it was a 2 minute drive to the venue. We were just a few minutes from downtown and just 20 minutes from Babcock where we did some hiking and biking. It is next to road which can be loud at times and there are a lot of dogs on the neighborhood so there is a lot of barking. It did not bother me or anyone else on my party but for someone looking for a more remote or quiet stay that would be a concern. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. The host was exceptionally accommodating and had everything you needed to cook. Including spices!

This house was perfect for our weekend. We were in town for the Spartan race and basically needed a place to sleep, change, and snack. It was easy to get to and on the main road. It should be listed that you have to go through a bedroom to get to the only bathroom.

Nice and practical place centrally located for the National Park and rafting activities we planned. Also a good location for access to restaurants, grocery and other stores. Only downside: only the one bathroom which was good enough for two but more than that might lead to a challenge.
For a similar trip I would go back. The property is very pleasant inside and out.

We stayed here for the weekend to go whitewater rafting on the New River. Location was perfect! Less than ten minutes away and very close to the cute downtown area. Bobbi was an extremely gracious host and provided everything you might need, including toiletries, snacks and bottles of water. The yard was so pretty with a beautiful weeping willow tree and fire pit which we enjoyed in the evenings. Bobbi was extremely responsive through the entire process. We will definitely stay here again the next time we go rafting!

The house is very nice inside. Great for visiting the Gorge bridge. It is not in the downtown city area but very close to food and easy to get to the main travel roads.

The house is perfect for a long weekend getaway! Cozy house with all the amenities, great porches and views of the sunrise! It felt like everything was close by - rafting, hiking, eating, shopping, the Summit! Bobbie was so helpful and had great suggestions for thing to do in the area. Already looking for a time on the calendar to plan another stay!

My daughters and I stayed at Bobbi’s home for our first trip to New River Gorge National Park. We could not have been happier! The home is so clean and comfortable — the central air was a treat — and it is so close to downtown Fayetteville and all the national park activities. Bobbi is by far the most responsive host I have ever met. I would love to return to NRG NP, and when I do I would absolutely stay at this home again. Thank you so much Bobbi!!

Wonderful spot to stay in Fayetteville. We would gladly come again. Well-equipped, except no iron for clothes. Peaceful setting.

Great remodeled older home w a fenced in yard for pups. Close to everything but no super close neighbors. NOTE: if you have a small dog there is one area of fence they can get under so be a helicopter parent lol. BONUS: 100+ year old weeping willow in the front yard. 4 paws up, would definitely rent again

The most well furnished and clean home we’ve stayed at. Bobbi had everything you’d ever need. Great communication and easy to deal with. Huge fenced in yard perfect for your fur baby. If you Visit The new river gorge area I’d recommend staying at this house every time.

Everything about this cottage was warm and inviting. Great location just minutes to the New River Gorge and the sweet town of Fayetteville. Fully stocked and then some. Anything you might need is available, along with some sweet extras. The cottage has a very large lawn with a beautiful Weeping Willow. The host is readily available, so easy to work with and all around perfect host.

Bobbi’s house was perfect for us, with very thoughtful touches throughout! I appreciated the snacks and toiletries I had forgotten and my husband always loves a fire pit.
The yard was great for our dog who enjoyed so much space to explore. Though heads up if you have a tiny dog like mine there are a couple spots in the fence where it doesn’t completely reach the ground she could have crawled under if I wasn’t watching.
The location for hiking and white water rafting could not have been more perfect, super convenient to everything we wanted to do and a number of surprisingly good restaurants.
Bobbi was super communicative and gracious so we will definitely be staying here on our next trip back!

Bobbi’s home was just right for us, plus Bobbi is a very gracious host. Her attention to detail was fantastic, from the abundant amount of coffee & snacks to her suggestions about activities. Our two dogs also enjoyed the large fenced in yard. I would recommend this place highly.

My brother and I stayed here for a Spartan Race and it was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable living area, plenty of room for the two of us, and the location was excellent. 10 minutes or less to so many things. The owner was extremely friendly and responsive although we lacked for nothing. And when I say nothing…I mean this was the most well-stocker rental home I’ve ever seen. Spices, laundry supplies, toiletries…everything you could possibly want. 10/10 would recommend and hope to stay here again!

We were looking for a place to stay with our pet dog who accompanies us on trips, hiking, eating out (using the BringFido app for pet-friendly places) so we were naturally looking for a place that had a good space for "Dottie" since most hotels only have small pet walk areas and she needs to run and play off leash at times since she's only 1 year old. We LOVED our stay here! There was a huge Weeping Willow in the back that was beautiful to sit out on the deck and watch Dottie sniff all of the nature smells and look up at the birds. We even saw a tiny baby rabbit one morning that scampered away when it saw Dottie come out which was very cute. The house was very well stocked with all of the amenities we needed and very close to all of the main hikes and sights we wanted to do such as the New River Gorge Endless Wall Walk, Arch bridge, Concho overlook, the Thurmond railroad ghost town, Summersville Lake, etc. If ever in the area again, we would like to stay here again! Thanks for a great stay :-).

We enjoyed our stay in Fayetteville. The house was close to many attractions and restaurants. The best part was having all the little things you don't want to pack or buy, but my still need, like zip lock bags and plastic wrap.

My family and I had a great stay. We visited WVA for the rafting and this was a perfect location for us. We were within minutes of our rafting destination and only a couple of miles from town. The house was very clean, well stocked and Bobbi was readily available if needed. Thank you for the great stay!

Cozy and lovely in great location
This property was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 dogs. It’s only minutes away to New River Gorge and all the hiking we’d planned. The house not only had everything we would’ve needed for cooking/grilling but was filled with really thoughtful touches like a snack basket and was so cozy and comfortable after a long day of hiking. The large sofa was perfect for lounging. I also loved hanging out on the bench swing and we also enjoyed the large back deck. I would definitely stay again if we find ourselves back in the area. Our dogs also enjoyed the huge yard!

Like being at home
All VRBO's are supposed to be like home. This one was home. The small things were there. We had ordered a pizza, and there were gallon baggies to put leftovers in. It is the small things. I can HIGHLY recommend staying here. Super homey, clean, close to everything, and Bobbi was great.
