People are very respectful and nice.

Barbara’s place was well beyond made for a comfortable stay for a big group. We were 7 and fit perfect. Everything was clean and plenty of amenities throughout the apartment. Having the beach and pool in the back was the biggest plus. Would definitely stay again.

Being a former South Florida resident, it does not bother me very much to see a bug or two inside. This place had a pretty severe bug problem, ants and roaches. The owner of the unit did give us back $150 for the inconvenience. This could not have been a new problem because it was an infestation. If you went in the kitchen at night and turned on the light you would see them everywhere. I coated the kitchen every night with Raid but it did not even slow them down. I did not leave any food out. As soon as we had any kind of trash I took it out to the trash shoot. We also found them in the bathroom. The condo it self was run down. There was paint peeling and the ceiling in the master bedroom look like it had mold next to the vent and it was just painted over. The furniture was old and very uncomfortable. As far as the building. They had a broken elevator that made using it a timely process especially on the checkout day. They also would not let my 16 and 17 year old kids play in the game room without parental supervision vision. The location was good. Having the beach so close was nice. I would definitely not stay here again.

Great Location

This was a great place to stay. Approximately 2.5 miles from Hollywood Beach, to far to walk, but easy drive (or Uber) to restaurants and entertainment. Parking can be challenging at condo on a busy weekend.

The condo is cute, needs some TLC though. The towel rack fell off the wall, the shower head fell completely off. They did come and fix that. The master bedroom mattress was horrible. We ended up sleeping on the air mattress. The location depending on why you are in the area is not the greatest. The property is about 3 miles from the Hollywood boardwalk and beach, it’s about 7 miles away from the Ft. Lauderdale boardwalk and beach and about 12 miles away from Miami Beach. There’s not a lot of restaurants in walking distance, you definitely need a car. The pool is small and at about 1:30/2 pm you loose your sun due to the high rise next to you. It’s $10 a day to valet and per the condo you have to purchase a key fob for $30 to use the amenities. If I were to come back to this area I would stay in the city of Ft Lauderdale or in walking distance to the Hollywood boardwalk and would stay in a hotel that offers better amenities.
