This Lodge is now open as of July 18th, 2022! Laikyn’s Lodge has over 6,500 sq. ft. of living space. Includes 8 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. Includes large wrap around deck with indoor and outdoor fireplaces. Lodge features a 15x30 fiberglass indoor pool that can be enjoyed year-round. Lodge also includes a large hot tub, and fire pit area. One of the best features of this property is the breath-taking view of this lodge. Another great thing about this lodge is its proximity to the city of Logan with many restaurants and shopping stores as well as its proximity to many hiking attractions that hocking hills has to offer. It is right where you want to be! Upstairs layout: 4 private bedrooms each with a queen bed. 2 full bathrooms. Loft with sleeper sofa and chair. Sleeping up to 11 people. Main floor layout: Living room with 65” hdtv with direct tv and blu ray player, fireplace and leather couches. Two dining areas seating up to 20 people. Large kitchen with bar seating, stainless steel microwave, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Master bedroom with king bed and full walk-in luxurious shower bathroom. Floor also includes entry way area, half bath, and great views of the outdoors! Covered decking around the entire main floor with outdoor fireplace, picnic tables, 4 burner gas grill, and numerous seating options to take in the peace and beauty of the Hocking hills. Downstairs layout: Massive game room with pool table, arcade games, card table, leather couches, 82” hdtv with direct tv. 3 bedrooms. 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom 1- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed. Bedroom 2- Queen bed and twin sized bunk bed. Bedroom 3- customized queen/ twin bunks. Includes 2 queen beds and 2 twin sized beds. Covered deck with swinging chairs, picnic table, massive 8-person hot tub, access to fire pit area and again great views of the valley. Pool house layout: Features an 15x30 fiberglass in-ground salt water heated swimming pool with steps and benches for seating. Stamped concrete flooring with cathedral ceilings and skylights, full of windows and great views. Pool house also has a full bathroom. Off the pool house is another massive deck great for star gazing at night, gathering area, dancing area, could be used even as a beautiful place to get married! Has picnic table and a few lounging options to relax and again take in the beautiful scenery this place has to offer. Other notes: Each bathroom features luxurious tile adding to the beauty of this cabin. Features approximately 3500’ of decking alone! Can sleep up to 26 people comfortably. Sits on 8 acres of privately owned land. Built in 2022. Asphalt black top drive and parking added in spring of 2023. Towels, linens, cooking utensils, board games, spices, cooking appliances are all provided.

The house was even better than the pictures, which were amazing. We celebrated parents/grandparents 70th birthdays with 8 grandchildren under 10 and 8 adults. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly ask for, the bedrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable, the indoor pool was amazing and all the games in the basement were fun for the kids and adults, and the owners were attentive and wonderful to work with. No complaints whatsoever and we will absolutely recommend to friends and keep in mind for future stays.

Our family stayed for three nights and we were thrilled with this property. Large kitchen that was stocked with more than most rentals provide. We never once said, I wish they had this...
Beds were comfortable. Gaming room was a hit with all ages. The pool was so much fun. Warm pool house, heated pool that makes you want to play longer in it. And the hot tub was a nice warm up after playing in the pool.
The internet was spotty when we were all on our devices. We had to put devices down a bit which for what we were there to do, relax, wasn't a bad thing.
Overall it's a wonderful property, property manager Ann was so responsive to any questions, and we will most certainly stay again.

This lodge is amazing and the views are breathtaking ! We were able to use this amazing property for an intimate wedding/reception, and it turned out perfect! The owners were so accommodating and helped turn my dream wedding into reality! Thank you!

A beautiful property with amazing views! The amenities were very nice, as were the furnishings. Everything was very clean and it was close to the hiking trails. Our family, including adult children and grandchildren gathered to celebrate our 45th anniversary and decade birthdays, and we made some great memories! Our internet service was patchy. We found that those with AT&T and T-Mobile got better reception than those with Verizon. In all, it was a wonderful gathering time!

We had a wonderful weekend here with a large group of folks. There was something for everyone. The kids loved the pool, and the adults loved the hot tub and fireplaces at night. Communication throughout the entire time was top notch. We will come here to stay again with a large group!

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful part of the Hocking Hills. Home was gorgeous. Bit there were/are some things to be aware of.
1. There is zero internet. Yes they'll give you wifi access, but it won't work and you'll be driving to Logan to use wifi.
2. You can not make or receive calls. Same as the wifi, you'll be headed to Logan to make calls.
3. The grill is a joke. We had to go buy our own. Not cool given what we paid.
4. We had 18 or so people at this location. Normally places that hold 18 have 2 or 3 refrigerators because clearly isnt enough. This place has one....so we had groceries brought in daily.
5. Kitchen, like the rest of the house, is beautiful but the utensils are really cheap and not really functional, especially when feeding large groups. We bought our own.
6. There is terribly limited parking. Its bad. And given the terrain you cant park on the grass. That wasn't expected given what we paid.
7. The grounds are beautiful. But the septic smell was.....hard to ignore. Made it a little hard to enjoy the evenings by the beautiful outdoor fireplace.
8. Check in was overly complicated. We didnt have the digital key at 330pm that afternoon. I messaged the owner for it had a member of my team message the owner, too. Not cool since we had 18 people waiting to arrive. We should have clear communication on that.
I'm not trying to only dunk on this place. Its gorgeous. But for what we paid, we shouldn't have encountered the issues above.

Great place to stay. Ann, the host, really cares about your experience. She made sure to check in with us during our stay to make sure we have everything we needed.
I was pleasantly surprised at the time of the year we went that there were no mosquitos. So that was a BIG plus.
My favorite part of the trip was being able to sip my coffee in the morning from the deck and watching the deer. There were several deer that came out every morning and evening.
Also, I was glad from a safety perspective that the door to the pool has a lock. I was nervous about water safety with younger kids. I didn't want them to sneak off and go in the pool area.
I do have younger kids under 2 and if you plan to bring younger kids, consider bringing a baby gate of some sort to be able to block off the stairs to downstairs. We brought a playpen gate that was large enough to cover the stairs at putting a normal baby gate might not work like it would with a normal door opening/entryway.

The check in process was very easy and the lodge was huge which was great for all of the folks that we had with us. We had a mix of children and the door lock to the pool was great because of that. There are tons of porches so lots of space for folks to spread out and have breathtaking morning coffee. The location was nice and we loved that there was so much to do for all of the different age groups. We loved that there was no cell phone service and the fact that the WIFI was spotty didn't bother us either. It afforded our family some great bonding times.

The house layout is excellent. The pool and fire pit were a nice bonus. Loved all the decks. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a fabulous time.

Our family had a wonderful time enjoying every aspect of this house! The view from the deck was amazing and we spent every evening on the deck or around the fire ring! The indoor pool was enjoyed by the whole family! Very clean!

We had a fabulous time at Laikyns lodge. As a multigenerational family group (ages 4-73), there was something for everyone. I think the best part was just sitting on the upper deck and relaxing and reconnecting with family. This was the best stocked VRBO place we’ve been. The bed /bedroom situation was perfect for our gang, the young kids loved the bunk room. This place was also easy to get to and convenient to lots of different hiking options. So glad they paved the driveway this year. I wish we could do this every year!

The well-stocked kitchen, including silverware, dishes, paper towels, K-cups, dishwasher pods, trash bags, and cookware, made meal preparation a breeze. The laundry room with detergent pods and the bathrooms with ample supplies of toilet paper, towels, and wash rags were thoughtful touches. Additionally, a fully stocked pool house was a highlight, providing an abundance of towels for everyone in the house. The outdoor fireplace quickly became our favorite spot, and we spent every night there, creating cherished memories.
Despite these positive aspects, there were a few areas that could benefit from improvement. Firstly, having only a single fridge for a cabin of this size felt inadequate. With multiple fridges, it would be easier to accommodate larger groups and their food storage needs. Additionally, we noticed that the floors seemed to be quite dirty, as our feet would become visibly dirty by the end of the day. Furthermore, the wireless coverage throughout the property was poor, with only one access point in the basement. To enhance connectivity, installing wireless repeaters throughout the house would greatly improve the signal strength. It would be a welcome addition to have an outdoor fan for the fireplace area.
Despite these areas for improvement, our stay at Laikyn's Lodge was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in the beautiful Hocking Hills area.

The house is stunning and the views are spectacular. It is not far from town or many of the hiking trails so the location was really ideal. If you have earlier risers and late sleepers, put those that like to sleep in later in the basement because the big open concept upstairs echos and is quite loud. The house internet/wi-fi is not reliable, which was a problem as we had a young diabetic that typically uses a phone to be monitored and this was not possible. There is no landline so I am not sure what we would have done in the case of an emergency. We tried to call a pizza place and finally gave up and went to town because we could not get enough reception. For older persons, there are not handrails everywhere and some of them were installed incorrectly so that the rail does not reach the top of the steps...I almost fell going up the first time. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cookware, and basics. The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. The kids LOVED the pool! It was the highlight of the trip for them. We had kids from 18 to 1 staying and they all had things they could do.

The house was beautiful! Perfect for our stay. Even with the rain, kids could go swimming in the indoor pool and we could do a fire in the outdoor fireplace!

Very relaxing, everything was great! The house was perfect for our 26th annual family camping trip! There are 23 of us that range in age from 8-81. And it was perfect for everyone! I loved all of the small amenities that they had there. The kitchen was fully stocked, they had plenty of games for the kids! And the pool was so much fun! This house is great for all year round!!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! If your looking for a cabin with everything this is the one, an unbeatable view, space for everyone, big kitchen, tons of activities, clean, great management and the list goes on! This house was spectacular. It was perfect for our group of 23. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the ants in the kitchen. It was clear this was an ongoing problem because there were ant traps and spray in there already. We also sprayed multiple times and still had many.

Our family of eight with kids from 4 to 17, had a good time for our March 2023 Spring Break. The house had plenty of space for everyone. The indoor pool was great, just wish we had remembered some pool toys for the little ones. We brought pool towels but didn’t need them, plenty were provided.
We were pleasantly surprised to see that everything was provided, spices, coffee filters, coffee, hand soaps, dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, bathroom tissue, etc. We’ve stayed in homes where once we checked in we had to run to the store to get those things, most just supply a start, if anything. It was so nice to have them supplied!
We drove into down for dinner a few times. A favorite was Millstone Southern BBQ everything was delicious, servings are large. We also ordered pizza from the nearby Capt. Ron’s Pirate Pizza, everyone enjoyed it.
On the warmest (above 50F) day of our stay we hiked Old Mans Cave trail it’s just a short drive down the road. It was beautiful, even the 14 year old that didn’t want to hike enjoyed it, we have pictures to prove it! Haha
We found plenty to do, we shopped, hiked, had good food, at the house we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, played games, made s’mores, sat by the fireplaces inside and out.
We would like to note that the cell service is not good, the driveway is steep, neither of these things would keep us from staying again.

This is a great house and location. The host responded quickly to all questions or concerns. As noted in the description four wheel drive is recommended for the driveway. The house was well stocked from dishes to appliances and the fridge was large enough to hold groceries for 3 families. The pool and hot tub were great for everyone, heated properly and recently cleaned. Pool table, corn hole boards, firewood available for purchase all great amenities that we used as well. We could not get cell service and the Wi-Fi was a bit slow but all were able to manage.

The cabin and surrounding area were great! My family had so much fun. Location is close to caves. The view, the pool, the fireplaces were fantastic! I highly recommend staying here.

This is a beautiful property, very clean, well stocked with all necessities and many things to enjoy! With the weather being so wet the kids spent lots of time swimming so they didn't miss a beat when it came to having fun. Still were able to have a short visit to Ash Cave and had a great evening for the fire pit. Incredible kitchen and living area so had plenty of room for our very large group to cook, eat and hang out. We will definitely come back for another stay

Loved the property and all the accommodations. The only negative is lack of adequate WiF/connectivity for cellular devices and TV. Was not able to use cellular device to make phone calls on-site, had to travel 2-3 miles to get consistent reception.

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Lots of room. Clean. Plenty of towels. We will definitely be back next year. Only downfall, hot tub would only reach 99. Great experience overall

Amazing house with ample space for our large group of 23! Everything you need is all right there in the house and anything else is conveniently located a short drive to many destinations, food, etc.
We used the outdoor and indoor fireplaces to keep cozy on the cool nights and swam in the indoor pool as the snowflakes began to fall to the ground! Thanks so much for hosting our group! We highly recommend this property to others.

Thank you so much Bobby for such a great trip! Stayed with 20 friends and had the time of our lives. The house was clean, beautiful, and so entertaining. Not to mention the fall landscape around it was wonderful and hocking hills at this time of year was spectacular. Would 20/10 recommend to anyone looking for a fun yet relaxing getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The owner was very easy to get in contact with and was very friendly. This house is HUGE! Had lots to do for all the ages that were with us! Family from England came in and we had the best time! We enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot tub outside. The fireplace indoor and outdoor was amazing! The only thing I would change would be the driveway, internet connection, and TVs in room. This is a new listing so I’m sure he is going to eventually pave the driveway and I know he is working on getting a different internet service also. There are no TVs in the bedrooms which was a little upsetting due to hearing noises of others getting up at night. We sleep with the TVs on at night so it was a little difficult not having one while staying here. I’m guessing he will eventually put TVs in each room after some time. I would 100% recommend staying here and we plan on returning in the future! Great trip and family time!

We had 25 people stay at this property so we max'd out everything to test it over a week! Bobby was very easy to work with. He responded very quickly to any questions or requests. It was a wonderful house with plenty of space for all. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the amenities in the kitchen were better than expected. There was an air fryer which was good for some of the food for the kids. The driveway was hard to manage but we were able to deal with it as many of us had 4WD.
We had a couple issues with our stay. First, the wifi was almost non-existent. This wouldn't have been a problem, but we had zero cell service with Verizon. Two of the people in our family had to work during our stay, so they had to go into town to get service. This was inconvenient. We made Bobby aware, and I know that he is looking into another service. It was actually good for the kids not to have this as they had plenty to do in the house and around the area to keep everyone busy! We did discover afterwards that cell service and wifi is an issue in the area, in general.
Secondly., the water softener wasn't working properly in the middle of our trip, and it ruined some clothes with rust in the water. However, when we texted Bobby, he came within the hour and fixed it. Then he resolved the issues with the clothes. Things do happen with a new house and resolving it was the important thing here. We knew being a new house things can go wrong.
The pool was great and having it indoors was awesome when we had our one rainy day. We pretty much used it daily between the kids and adults.
We used the outdoor firepit every night and even the outdoor fireplace which was great covered for when it rained at night. We also used the big decks to do an outdoor movie for the kids a couple nights which was super fun.
There are so many things to do in the area and this location is great. Pretty much everything was within 10-15 minutes. Overall, the house was beautiful. The only thing is to get an upgrade of the wifi and it would be even better!

We were the first family to stay in this beautiful cabin.
The owners thought of everything. The home was stocked with anything you could think of--coffee pods, sugar and creamer, dish soap, an air fryer, laundry detergent, lighters, chip clips, games, pens and paper, pool towels in the pool house, firewood for purchase-so many little details that are often overlooked but they thought of it all!
The fire pit was very nice-We had a few fires throughout the week and there were plenty of chairs around it. The sky was amazing...so clear that it seemed there were a million stars. The hot tub wonderful and the pool house was so much fun. The teens in our party had a pool party every night.
Working with Bobby was a great experience. Anytime I messaged him to check on the status of the home he responded within the hour. There was an issue with the air conditioner and I messaged him and he had someone out that morning to fix it. The driveway is very steep so those of us who had a 4 wheel drive vehicle had an easier time getting up but we managed to get all 4 of our cars in and out. The location is close to all Hocking Hills attractions.
