But, as you venture around back on the stone pathways, a glorious backyard waterfront with stone stairs cascade down to the river will capture your heart! A spectacular 2 storey cottage with flowing decks on both levels is perfect for enjoying a Muskoka summer outdoors. Hidden among the trees, Deer Lodge is extremely private on a quiet part of the wide Joe river. The path way continues down to the river front to where a waterside fire pit with Muskoka chairs invite you to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. The path continues down to the dock where a seadoo lift can be found and as well as mooring space for 2 boats!
