A lavish oceanfront retreat for the ultimate Gulf Shores getaway, this 7BR/6BA house, built in 2015, boasts a large deck with a splash pool and a personal boardwalk from the house to 100 feet of private beach. After a day in the surf and sand, rinse off in the outdoor shower, then whip up a meal in the spacious kitchen, which features a double oven, two refrigerators, a double dishwasher, and seating for 22. Gather in one of the living areas for a movie or watch the sunset on the giant deck. This beach house has a plethora of living space to gather in. Enveloped by ocean views, the first-floor living room provides a sofa and a 64-inch TV with a Blu-ray player. The second-floor common room offers stunning seaside vistas, a 55-inch TV, and a DVD player. The gourmet kitchen boasts high-end appliances, including two refrigerators, a double sink, double ovens, and double dishwashers. Perch at the kitchen bar or make yourself a beverage at the wet bar, complete with a sink and icemaker. Gather around the farmhouse table with seating for 12. Bar seating for eight is available, and two additional at the high-top table. One primary bedroom boasts a king bed, sofa bed, private balcony, 40-inch TV, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate bathtub. Two additional suites have king beds, 40-inch TVs, and en suite bathrooms with a walk-in shower and bathtub. Three of the bedrooms provide queen beds, 40-inch TVs, and beachy views. One bedroom on the upper level includes three bunk beds: one is a full-over-full bunk and two are twin-over-twin bunks. This room also contains a 40-inch TV and storage under the bunk beds. On the first floor, you will find a bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a half bath. The upper level has a bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Extra perks include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer. Outdoor adventures abound along the Alabama Gulf Coast. Offering a peek at the world of the native bottlenose dolphins, Orange Beach Dolphin Cruises are both educational and fun for the family. Gulf State Park offers Segway tours through The Backcountry Trail. Never driven a Segway? No problem. Licensed operators will give your group a lesson beforehand. Dine out at local favorite LuLu’s Gulf Shores, a festive waterfront restaurant with seafood, drinks, beach activities, and nightly music. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 10:00 AM. No events or parties are permitted. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. Doonies Dunes was a perfect place to stay. We had 3 small families, and it worked great for us with the 3 master bedrooms. Some areas could have been a bit cleaner, but overall cleanliness was good. Having two fridges was amazing! We had a small hiccup with the AC unit being out, but they took care of us quickly and efficiently. Amazing customer service!

This property was perfect for our group of 4 couples and all the kids, 7 in total. It is clean and well kept. Our favorite feature was the beach access, the boardwalk from the house to the beach is a big perk! 3 of the rooms have bathrooms in them, which was nice for all of our families. 2 full size beds rooms do not, but the bathrooms for those 2 are right out the door. The kids slept in the bunk bed room without issue. The beach was perfect, we had the best time and will definitely book here again!

We couldn’t have asked for more ! The house is beautiful and included everything we needed ! The private beach and walkway right to waves was simply perfect! We plan to make this a yearly tradition!

I think to only include 1 trash bag for a home that sleeps 22 is silly. I also feel like a couple extra towels just in case would be nice, there was literally 1 for every person and nothing extra. The pool was more hot tub size not at all how the picture looked. But overall a good experience.

Location, house, view, awesome.. 2 rooms upstairs were warm and tv in downstairs living room didn't always work. but over all it was wonderful. Check in was at 4 pm but housekeeping was there until 4:15 still cleaning..

We loved that we were right in the beach. The walkway was perfect since we had several toddlers. The house was exceptional. The rooms we very roomy. I have a large family and everyone was covered with decent size beds. We cooked every morning and evening. We had a wonderful time even though it rained most of the days we were there but we hit the beach as soon as it let up. . A couple of days there were sharks out on the second sand bar that we were able to watch and everyday there were dolphins in our area. The pool was so helpful with our toddlers who didn’t care for the beach. I would like to thank the owners for sharing their beautiful home with us. I would definitely consider this house again.

The location was perfect!!! The private beach was absolutely amazing!!! The house had plenty of space for our group. The house needs some painting especially downstairs and some updating on the decor. We did enjoy our stay and had a wonderful time.

The home was filthy, the pool was filthy and never cleaned, nor was the pool heater working. Numerous chairs were broken and never fixed as promised. Management completely unreachable.

We had a wonderful time spending the week here. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms as well as plenty of places for family members to just hang out and enjoy the view. Wonderful memories to take with us until next time!

This place has it all - PLENTY of room for sleeping, eating , hanging out, etc. having access to the beach by boardwalk was fantastic. Having double ovens and dishwashers and refrigerators is HUGE with a large group and so it worked out perfectly . Will definitely do this again - thanks Doonies Dune - it was great .

There were many problems when we arrived, and management tried their best to get our issues resolved in a timely fashion. We were reimbursed for one night stay. Later in the week the HVAC system was replaced, and the downstairs AC did not work properly after the installation. Repair men in the house for a while.
Didn't report it because we only had 2 days left and was tired of the hassle.

This home was the perfect fit for our group! It was beautiful and roomy even with a group of 15! The kitchen was AMAZING and I loved that everything was labeled. The boardwalk to the beach made going to the beach easier. It is far enough away from everything but close enough to shops and restaurants. We have already booked it again for next year!!!!!

This house fit all 20 of us nicely. Beautifully set right on the beach. We were one of the few that had our own walkway out to the beach. The house was clean when we arrived. The house has been updated. We loved the double dishwasher and double fridge. There were plenty of dishes for all 20. There are a few minor details that one needs to know about Doonie's Dunes. 1. Watch out for the walkway to the beach! The boards are in pretty rough shape. One of the boards had a large chunk of wood sticking up that ended up cutting one of our guests (4 inch wound) 2. The entertainment system was not user friendly. More specific instructions would have been appreciated. 3. The metal handle on the broom was broken. We ended up going to the store to buy a new one. 4. Extra Toilet Paper and Bedding. It would have been nice to have been supplied with more toilet paper and betting for our stay. We only received 2 rolls of TP per bathroom. Again another run to the store. There was only one extra blanket. These issues will only be an issue for some people. They were not huge issues for us therefore no biggie and I give this place a 5 star!

The management company offered to have someone come out on Friday but I declined because we were leaving on Saturday and we did not want the house to be full of pesticides with the little kids not to mention the pest coming out due to running from the pesticides.
I would also suggest that the owner invest in a pool warmer. The weather was colder this time around during our visit but the ocean was warmer than the pool. The pool was ice cold and on days where the kids can’t be in the water it would be great for them to enjoy the pool.
I wish I could give this a better review like I did the first time we stayed here which was perfect. But this time it fell short of our expectations.

There were 20 of us flying into golf Shores for my mothers 80th birthday. The house was perfect! It was well stocked, clean and very comfortable for everyone. Most items needed for the beach for supplied. There was no barbecue grill which was a little disappointing but other than that I don’t believe there i Was anything we needed we didn’t have. We got to swim just yards from the dolphins each day and also enjoyed the play. And raised it would swim right up to you and go around daily. We saw a couple of small sharks and a Manatee while we were there.. We also had a professional photographer that came to the beach and God provided the perfect sunset for a beautiful family portraits. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting it again in the future.

Very nice place with lots of features
The house was very nice with great beach access and lots of room to spread out. Three bedrooms have beautiful beach views and king beds, but a fourth set of adults would have to stay on one of the queen beds, which were loud and uncomfortable. The boardwalk used to access the beach was great to have, but don’t go barefoot to avoid splinters from some of the boards. Overall a great place.
