Enjoyed our weekend at this house on the main strip of Two Harbors. Themed in 50’s decor and appointed with lots of fun like popcorn maker, turntable and records, marshmallow cooker, themed rooms and more. Extremely clean. Walkable to restaurants, bars, shoreline, and brewery. We’d stay there again.

This place was great! Everything went along with the themed decor, there is so much attention to detail. And not only did it look cool, but the beds and furniture were comfortable too. Great location, easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. I’d definitely stay here again.

This is a fun apartment to stay in, they thought of everything! The location is great, we were able to walk to local shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed movie night with the popcorn machine!

Twist and Shout had everything we needed for a weekend stay. We enjoyed being able to walk to ice cream, Castle Danger Brewing, and the Agate Beach along Lake Superior. It was a great launch pad for our North Shore hiking adventure.

The beds were VERY comfortable and it was the most stocked Place we have ever stayed at, they have everything you need! Highly recommend!

Decor was unique. Toiletries a plus. Refrigerator had not been cleaned out from previous guest. Overall good.

Location, location, location! Walkable to all the fun in Two Harbors. Fabulous fun 50s theme space, bedrooms and living space was comfortable and luxurious. We definitely recommend staying here.

This was a good location and a cutely decorated rental. Everything was perfect except the pillows. We need thinner pillows and they were all lofty, would recommend more of a selection.

Loved listening to the old music, being surrounded by all the 50s decor, the small touches that they have taken the time to add. Thank goodness for the air conditioning and fans. Loved this place, would come again. The one down side, 1 bathroom. Would recommend this VRBO. Janelle was a wonderful host. Thank you.

Super cute property! We REALLY enjoyed our stay! Be aware that this is the upper level of a house, so there are stairs to get to the property. Also, there is no central air conditioning - only a room air conditioner in the kitchen. We brought 2 box fans with us for the bedroom windows and they helped to circulate the cooler evening air into the rooms.

Very cute property - the property owner must of had a blast decorating! Close to downtown on the main street going through town. A bit noisy but was hilarious hearing the big rigs going by putting on their jake breaks!! Reminded us of another time in our lives and apartment living. We had a couple of hot days, Janelle called to say the air conditioner came in and had the maintenance guy bring it up to install, we only had it running probably an hour since we were gone touring in the daytime & it cooled off nice at night, the breeze through the windows was awesome & plenty of ceiling fans to help. A good time was had and was of course, too short. Hope to be back again someday - the North Shore is just beautiful. Thanks Janelle for a nice stay!!

Great location for a North shore base. Two Harbors has everything needed for the time we spent here. Still need to travel north to get on Gitch-Gami trail.

Beware of steep stairs to property. It was unseasonably hot for the North Shore. There is no air conditioning. So we tried opening all windows and turned on the 2 ceiling fans. The windows had to be propped up with cans and cooking utensils as no dowels provided. The first night was challenging as so hot. I requested floor fans for the second night which was not provided. The second night the temperature lower. However be aware of location and street noise. The high outdoor temp was a big factor for a pleasant stay. Cute place.

The property has a one-of-a-kind feel that is true to the pictures! Conveniently located along the main road, which was helpful for our group traveling to Lutsen for a wedding. Thanks!

We enjoyed the varied selection of original records and played them nightly as we rested from our day’s activities. Janelle the owner was great, she communicated with all the details we needed. This place does not have ac but with the north shore breezes we made due. I do wish it had some fans to provide some white noise for sleeping with the windows open the passing cars were a bit loud. All that said I would stay here again in a minute. I would highly recommend this charming place. Clean, safe, great beds, all the kitchen items you’d ever need, a fun old fashioned movie type popcorn popper, easy access…and a great host. Book it now if you can.

Very enjoyable - a great place to watch movies and play games when done with outdoor activities. Great location in Two Harbors. Walked across the street for pretty good pizza and most things in town are within walking distance.
