The walls are paper thin…we had college kids partying all hours of the night swearing and yelling at 3 am above us! We also had a mouse/rat in our apartment that kept my son up! Yikes!!

The location of this apartment was fantastic. Very easy to get the bus into the city and Hoboken itself is super charming. The apartment is very cute, nice hot water and good water pressure, however, the air temperature was a bit cold with no way to manage the heat, and the beds are very hard. There is a coffee maker & electric kettle but no creamer available. Overall this was a great value but with the comfort of the beds, we wouldn’t stay again.

Fantastic position with a simple bus or ferry ticket you are everywhere in new york. Full of nice restaurant in the night. Optimum for family or group of friends. The flat is not a Sheraton but with a little flexibility you will stay nicely.
I promote the place.
Thank to Geo

This property is in a great location, surrounded by good coffee, shops, and places to eat. Very easily accessible to the PATH of one stop into the city. My wife and I would love to come back just to explore some of the restaurants up-and-down Washington Street.
However, we were very surprised to find the condition of the house left much to be desired, considering the cleaning fee. Thankfully, there were no insects or other pests, so we made do. However, they were a number of things in need of attention… Dust and hair on almost every windowsill, cups, that have been previously used, still filled with water, old, ketchup, packets under the stove, and just a general feeling of lack of care. The sheets may have been cleaned, but all of the sheets had multiple stains and a yellowed appearance. They did smell laundered, but the appearance was offputting.
There were seven of us in our family. Two adults and five children between the ages of eight and 17. It was a stretch to get us all in there, so I would assume comfortable accommodations for six.
Overall, it was the perfect location and the condition of the property was not bad enough that I wanted to spend any of our vacation time trying to arrange for a cleaning mid stay. Luckily after long days in and around the city all we needed was a safe place to crash so this was good.

It's not as clean, the bldg is old, pipes are old, drinking water should be provided, if you're not driving it's only a few blocks walk to a store. Many restaurants, stores, easy hop to New York. Pretty expensive for what you get but I'm from the West Coast and dingy is how is describe it. Very hot in the condo, even with the heater off.

Comfy beds, great location walking distance to everything. Host answered any questions promptly. Didn’t cook but kitchen area looked nice.

The apartment was clean and comfortable.
I enjoyed the location since it’s close to restaurants and a variety of shops. It’s a short walk to parks and the river.
I didn’t need to contact the host for much but when I had a question he responded quickly.

One of the most disappointing places we have ever stayed, and unfortunately having to write a bad review is very bothersome to me.
The apartment was not COVID-sanitized as advertised.
I bought Clorox spray and cleaned the following:
tub; bathroom sink; inside of refrigerator; inside of microwave; kitchen table; and cleaned the bathroom and kitchen floors on my hands and knees.
The following was dusty:
closet floors; under the beds; on the plastic plants; windowsills; baseboard heating units; top of refrigerator; draw on stove; the AC unit filters (we had to clean the one in our son's room because of his allergies).
When the host advertised 1 towel per person, it was not a joke. We had 4 towels for 3 people (5 days), and no wash clothes, hand towels or bathmat. The owner did promptly respond and send someone over with more towels & a bathmat, BUT no wash clothes. We were given hand towels to wash ourselves with.
There was mold on the shower curtain (the host promptly sent someone over to put up a new shower curtain).
The bed sheets, pillowcases and bedspreads smelled like body odor. The owner sent someone over to change them. The person changed the stuff in one bedroom, but not the other. The host promptly sent someone back to change the items in the other bedroom.
The closet door in the one bedroom was also broken. The host provided approximately a dozen hangers (for 3 people), and since there are no dressers, we left most of our clothes in our suitcases.
I did contact VRBO upon our arrival and photographed everything I have written in this review. This has never happened to us before and after traveling for a day, we tried looking for a hotel, but it is New York and everything is booked (or $500/per night), and we were not sure of the procedure to relocate ourselves. After this experience, I was given instructions by VRBO as to what to do if this unfortunate experience ever happens again.
VRBO has contacted the host on our behalf, but the host has not responded to VRBO (or me), and never once offered an apology. I am sure the host would not even offer any type of refund at this point because we did stay at the location.
I also asked the host via e-mail if they have someone managing the property for them and is unaware of how dirty the place is, but I never received an answer.
Total shame because the neighborhood is great and so are the restaurants.
