About this bed and breakfast

Please NOTE: The heated Estate Pool (shared by all our guests) will be open as long as weather permits. The private hot tub located at your house is available year round. Truly a Hidden Gem! A charming cobblestone drive paves the way to the four-bedroom Farrar Guest House, while setting the tone for a getaway to another time and place. Nestled in the heart of its own park setting and enveloped by lush landscaping, the Farrar Guest House welcomes visitors to a retreat that's even more charming inside than it appears from the outside. Up to eight guests can lose themselves in the coziest of our guest houses and enjoy our 2 acres of private gardens. Affectionately called la petit maison as a nod to the French antiques and décor found throughout, guests will love the four bedrooms, along with thoughtfully appointed common spaces, including a living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry, patio, and a beautiful glass sitting room. The master bedroom offers a sitting room and ensuite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom also offers an ensuite bath. With four total full baths each guest can have their own private bathroom. A fully stocked kitchen with cookware, china, and utensils offers your family/friends everything they need to relax and prepare a meal while visiting Pine Manor Estates. And don't forget to soak in the Hot Tub and enjoy the sounds of nature in your private retreat. Then simply take a short walk to the Estate Pool or the Tennis Courts for more fun and laughter. Hop on one of our paddle boats at the lake or play a round of basketball . . . there's always fun to be had at Pine Manor Estates and the Farrar Guest House.

We absolutely loved this property. We were in Carbondale with family celebrating a birthday, college graduation, and Christmas. This place was perfect for entertaining family and friends. Communication with the owner was excellent. We will definitely stay here again!

This property was beautiful. it was perfect for three generations of ladies. It was well appointed. Clean. Quality bedding and lots of towels. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. We had one small maintenance issue. That was taken care of quicker than I could have imagined if possible. The host was responsive and I would highly recommend this property. We will stay again if we are back in town. Thank you so much.

We took a girls trip for my 40th birthday. Excellent communication! Everyone was impressed with the house! 3 of the 4 bedrooms had en suite bathrooms and there was another full bathroom for the other bedroom. Beds were super comfortable! The decor was fancy and so was the coffee machine. Too fancy for a couple of girls, but they brought their Keurig. There is a gas stove, super nice, but only one of us knew how to use it so just fyi. We loved the dining room, sun room, and pool! Wish we could’ve stayed longer to enjoy the rest of the property. It was a short drive from the wine trail which is why we stayed there. We loved the neighborhood coop grocery store nearby, like Whole Foods but smaller. Apple Maps could not find the house so be sure to use Waze. The only slight negative is the pretty decor was not always practical, mainly the lighting. Confusing to figure out the switches to all of them and the lamps in the bedrooms are high so you have to get out of bed to turn them on/off. Also, the master bedroom was not easy to cool. We didn’t see any actual vents in there, they were only in the attached sitting room. But anyway, none of that would keep us from staying again! In fact, we definitely plan to!

This house surprisingly accommodated three couples and a couple of teenagers very comfortably. We all took advantage of fishing, paddle boats, swimming, and tennis which are all just a short walk away through this private neighborhood. We enjoyed the bonus hot tub and grilling in a very quiet and private, wooded setting. We would definitely do it again!

This was part of a larger family weekend and this house was lovely. All systems are in place to make sure everything is set up, clean and beautiful before arrival; the system works very well. Kitchen top of the line, coffee amazing. Pine Manor itself has things family can do or just walk, beyond activities in Carbondale..
