About this cottage rental
Pull off the highway and relax in our century-old cottage. Stonewall Cottage is located on almost three private acres and features tongue and groove pine walls, original hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, decorated with a warm mid-century modern charm and is equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Be close to it all! Only a short 2 minute drive to downtown Baileys Harbor, 10 minute drive to Peninsula State Park and 10 minutes from everything Sister Bay has to offer. AMENITIES YOU'LL LOVE -Gas Fireplace -Private fire pit area with firewood provided. -Grill -Hammock -Fully equipped kitchen -Coffee station featuring seasonal blends & syrups -Laundry area -Free WiFi -Kids' games & activities -Family Friendly -Abundant parking -Disc Golf Basket -Outdoor Games -Large assortment of games available for guests to enjoy! AND MORE! INSIDE: The inside of the cottage has been newly remodeled and decorated with modern furnishings and equipped with all of the amenities needed to make any guest feel right at home. The main level features a fully equipped, updated kitchen and open living room with high ceilings, a gas fireplace, and plenty of space to gather. The main level bedroom includes a memory foam queen bed that you'll sink right into. A washer and dryer are also available for use. The stairs lead to a catwalk overlooking the great room and dining area. Upstairs features three additional cozy bedrooms, all featuring memory foam beds. OUTSIDE: Stonewall Cottage is located on an almost 3-acre private lot. The outside features a gas grill, multiple sitting areas, and plenty of space to explore and make memories. Don't forget your marshmallows to roast out by the fire! PLEASE NOTE: After making your reservation, you will receive a notification to complete our rental agreement and schedule your security deposit through our management system, Owner Rez. Completing both of these items is required, and will confirm the terms and conditions of your stay. The security deposit is a "hold" on your card; nothing will be charged unless damage occurs. This hold will be scheduled two days before check-in and auto-released five days after check-out.

The host was wonderful and the property was so warm and cozy. The host was helpful when we had a question. The property is close to town and to Sister Bay. The house is well stocked and many nice extra amenities like a stocked coffee and tea bar. Great Stay!

Our family had a really sweet time connecting and making memories in this lovely home. Great touches - fire pit, disc golf, games. Plenty of outdoor space to relax in the woods. Convenient to State Parks and beaches.

It was a cute little cabin. Equip to the max.. except propane for the BBQ. They were quick to bring us a new propane tank For our 4th of July BBQ. But when we looked inside the grill there was peeling paint around the cooking area.. so we decid ed not to take a chance

What a charmer... classic 20's era cottage with modern touches and upgrades. Tons of great living space and outdoor amenities. Everything was very comfy and clean and the hosts were easy to connect with for any questions/issues.
This is an ideal location within striking distance of 15-20 minutes of pretty much any part of Door County you want to explore. Can't recommend this cute cottage for your DC stay enough.

We visited Door County this time to celebrate the life of our Dad, Brother and Uncle - Andy. He sadly passed away in March at 47 years old. We wanted to show his kids, niece and nephew what DC is all about as the 3 of us siblings visited with our parents many times as kids. The Stonewall Cottage was the perfect place to stay. It had every amenity needed, was very comfortable and super clean. All 6 of us commented how much we loved the cottage. Thank you to the owners. We would love to come back.

Stonewall Cottage was the perfect cozy retreat for a recent getaway I took with four college friends. We each had our own bed, and one bathroom turned out to be perfectly fine for the five of us. The amenities were thoughtful - loved the gas fireplace, water dispenser, and coffee bar. We cooked all of our meals on-site, and the utensils and dishes were perfect for our needs. The outside seating area looked wonderful - just wish the weather had cooperated a bit more so we could have used it. Very conveniently located, and the check-in/out processes were clearly explained and easy to use. I'll cherish the memories we made playing games and laughing with good friends around the dining room table. Highly recommended!

Stonewall was a wonderful place to stay - the location and home were beautiful. It had everything we needed and plenty of space for our group of 4 to lounge and stay. Close enough to attractions and dining. One of my personal highlight of Stonewall was the ample night lights (I am petrified of the dark and forgot mine) - it's the little things. Hosts were easy to contact, and we were able to check in earlier than expected to start out bachlorette weekend. Would absolutely stay here again for future visits to

The home and property were lovely and well-maintained. The location was good as it was only a couple min drive into town. The extra touches like providing coffee and including all kinds of info about Door County were nice. There were a few things to consider regarding this rental. Aside from the ones in the bedrooms, none of the windows had coverings. This also includes the front door. Also, the hot water heater seemed to struggle some when it came to multiple showers in the morning. Overall though we had a great stay at Stonewall Cottage and would definitely recommend a stay.

We love Stonewall Cottage. We could feel the extra efforts to make our stay most comfortable & enjoyable, in addition to all listed in VRBO. From well equipped & stocked kitchen, air filters/fan in each bedroom, to automated lighting outside. There was even a packNplay crib for our 1-year-old. Host replied to ouressages very quickly. Highly recommended.

A great location for those who like to enjoy all parts of door county. Lots to do at the cabin including board games and a fire pit. I would recommend this place.

Super cute spot that accommodated our group of 6 (3 couples) really well! Host was very responsive throughout the process. Backyard space was so quaint with the outdoor lighting!

Nice place to stay. Short drive down to Bailey's Harbor. Then it was about 15 minutes to neighboring towns. We made the one bathroom work with 6 to 8 adults. If i go back to door county i would look to see if this place was open.

We had a great time at this property! The place was very cute and had a great campfire spot in the backyard! Great location in Door County. My only complaint was it was a little warm in the upstairs bedrooms. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Beautiful property—the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern updates! The house was conveniently just a 3 minute drive into town and stocked with toiletries, kitchen items, and games. The property had a great, private backyard with a fire pit! The entire property was just as listed, and was the perfect place to house our group. Looking forward to our next stay!

All the little touches made this place so adorable. Loved the decorations but all the small included amenities put this place above the rest. No emergency runs to the store to buy something trivial. Owners thought of everything. We enjoyed the stay. Great location. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the cottage for a long weekend and absolutely loved it - while it was just two of us, a family would have fit very comfortably. It was very cozy, and the easy-to-use fireplace kept the cottage as warm as we preferred (it was a colder than normal May weekend when we visited). The property was well-outfitted, and we didn't feel there was anything big missing, aside from some supplies for bonfires that were yet to be replenished after the winter. The beds were firm but comfortable and there were plenty of additional blankets available as well.
The location worked well for us, as it was just outside Bailey's Harbor on the highway, so it was easy to find. Just a note though, that the driveway does open right onto the highway that I imagine is pretty busy in the summer, so something to consider if you are bothered by some vehicle noise (very tolerable inside the cottage), have small children, etc. Also, it is a mile or so into town where there are shops and plenty of food options, but nothing that's immediately walkable.

Cozy cottage in Bailey's Harbor
I stayed at the Stonewall Cottage with my friends for a girls weekend in April. The location was great for any area of Door County that you would like to visit. The decor and details of the cottage were awesome. They provided anything you could possibly need and the coffee bar was great for our group. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in DC!!
