Located in Lochmoor Waterway, this lovely house for R 5,377 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Why rent a hotel room when you can enjoy your stay in the comfort of a private home with a screened-in pool on a deep water canal with direct Gulf access (no bridges)? This cozy, beachy, cottage style home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a large bonus room that is set up as a fourth bedroom. Enjoy beautiful views overlooking the pool and canal from oversized, fifteen foot wide, sliding glass doors in the living room. This home also features a large twelve foot by twenty-four foot lanai for relaxing alongside the newly renovated pool (July 2021). There are pool toys and floats for a little fun. The large master bedroom has a private bathroom with a shower. The other two bedrooms share the hallway bathroom that has a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third bedroom features a twin daybed with a twin trundle underneath. The fourth bedroom has a queen bed and a desk with chair. This home has a laundry room and high-speed WiFi for your convenience as well. You can see a variety of sea life in the canal including manatees and dolphins almost every single day. Get your Florida fishing license and have fun catching a variety of fish right in the back yard. There are catfish, redfish, Jack Crevalle, snook, stingray, blue crab and more. Just grab a bucket of shrimp and pinfish/pilchers and you will be all set to catch a bunch of fish. The home did sustain damage from hurricane Ian so the roof is currently tarped and the baseboards are missing as we await the contractor to finish the remaining repairs (he is waiting for backordered materials). Also, the floor in the laundry room and the extra bedroom has not been resurfaced yet as we are still awaiting an appointment from the floor finishing contractor. The floor in the laundry room and fourth bedroom are clean, but look a little strange. We are reducing the price by $50.00 per night due to this unsightly inconvenience. We had a mold inspection completed and passed. The pictures in this listing were taken March 16, 2023 to show the current condition of the house. Minimum stay is 14 nights.

My spouse and I, along with two other family members spent an enjoyable stay at this vacation home in North Forth Myers. We appreciated the calm and tranquility of the neighbourhood, and what a bonus to be located on a canal! We enjoyed having our cup of coffee in the morning on the dock and having a little fun dipping a line in the water (We had our own fishing gear. For serious fishing, however, better to go out in the bay or deep-sea fishing. Pine Island is the place to go and it’s only half an hour drive from the house!). Access to grocery supermarkets, pharmacies and other retail points is quick and easy, don't have to go through the inconvenience of big urban traffic. The home has a lovely (and newly renovated) private swimming pool with a lanai and covered patio which we enjoyed very much. The decor of the home is stuck in the 1990s and would need some updating, and the exterior could need some improvement to make the curb appeal a bit more exciting but this does not in any way lessen the fact that the house is clean, comfortable and contains all the essential supplies needed. Not a five-star experience but good value for the money. The owner is a very nice person, very cooperative and very diligent to respond to enquiries and requests.
