The setting was amazing.

Beautiful location that has everything you will need! There was a little lack in communication about the table and chairs they supply for an event but it all worked out! Definitely recommend.

Easy walk to down town. Quiet private location, great views from deck. Digital lock was not reset to our combination but luckily a side door was left open. Primary local contact on vacation, secondary went to vm but later that evening the lock was reset. Somehow ended up on VACASA who do not answer their phone calls. Have always done well with /VRBO what who is non responsive VACASA they are not good.

What a wonderful place to gather the family. Our grandchildren had plenty of room to run and play. Picnics, sitting in the shade telling stories. The house was comfortable and well furnished.

Beautiful place, outside and in. For us we were coming home. My husband and I grew up there. It was kind of expensive and VERY HOT in the house. Hard to sleep at night. All in all it pretty nice.

More blankets and bedding sets would be great. We will definitely be booking again.

Wallowa Lake doesn’t offer many houses for big families but this one is perfect… we are a big family and this house had the space we need it to have a great time, relax and enjoy the view.

Property was awesome! Very comfortable and clean. Had all the necessary items to make the trip smooth! So close to town and nice park for kids. Only downside was that the house did not have AC. We would have breakfast upstairs and do dinner downstairs to accommodate for the heat!

This is our third stay at Wallowa River Camp. It never disappoints. A couple of suggestions, as there is no a/c, maybe some newer fans would be more efficient in the summer. We were here when there was a rather substantial thunder/lightning,rain/hail storm which knocked out power. It would be nice to have an emergency supply of flashlights/candles or something like that. We all loved the storm, and laughed our way through it. Thank you again for another lovely time at this home. We’ll be back!

Enjoyed the ample space for our big group of different aged family members. Having 2 kitchens was handy and the outdoor pavilion was just right for dinners together.

We used the Wallowa River Camp Resort as a wedding venue and it was fantastic! The venue comes with an arch (for the ceremony) tables, chairs, a bar, dance floor, and bathrooms. It also comes with a bunch of wedding decor that you can use for free. Things like tree rounds, mason jars, and chalkboard signs. Not to mention a house that sleeps like 20 some people. My entire bridal party and their spouses were able to stay at the venue for free! The property is laid out so that the ceremony is held in one area facing the mountains and the reception area is around the house out of view of the ceremony. The reception area is quite large with enough room to set up a tent (which we did). You can also access the Wallowa River for photos from the property. The max amount of guests you can have on the property is 150 people, so as long as your wedding isn’t enormous, this is the perfect venue with an amazing view of the mountains right where the ceremony is held! Only downside is that you have to shut down the noise at 9:30 pm because it’s in a residential area. But you can always walk to the Stubborn Mule and keep the party going if you want! All in all, I highly recommend this venue. We got married on June 25th and it was absolutely gorgeous.

This was the perfect house and grounds for our family only wedding weekend. The house was big and spread out to give everyone space and even play area for the kids during the rain. The ability to also have the wedding there with the scenery and out buildings and decorations was literally perfection. Thank you, we would rent again in a second.

This property is nice and large with two kitchens for large families. Very clean and nice furniture. We wish there were either larger tables or folding tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups. A table that only fits 6-8 people but the house can sleep well over 20 doesn’t make much sense. The bunk room can sleep 13 and then all the bedrooms and futons. The downstairs kitchen is the nicer to kitchen to use for serving a large family but the stove isn’t the best for preparing large meals. Neither of these are deal breakers though. We would definitely rent the house again if the opportunity arises in the future. We had lots of fun with our kids and their cousins.
