shower didn’t have hot water, not clean behind bed really dusty. noisy at night. no shampoo. only stayed one night so was perfectly adequate for that and the very low price.

We were Bait and Switched. To make it worse they didn't even tell us we weren't in the property we booked until the next day as we had been so unhappy and pointed out how the property details did not match. Further, the host acted like she was doing us a favor by switching us from the hotel room we booked to some shared room apartment... She was not. We booked a private Double hotel room with TV, Kettle, Balcony and Room Service. We were put in a shared apartment with no explanation and to top it off they demanded payment at check in which happened to be very later after 20 hours of flying. When I asked if we could pay in the morning they told us we could go stay elsewhere... at midnight in Kenya. When I agreed to pay and asked for my change I was told I could wait until morning for it... Clearly, this host has no concept or understanding of how to treat a weary traveler or how to be honest. Had we simply been told we were being put in a different facility we would have understood. Instead the host acted indignant and treated us like we were the ones in the wrong. Bottom Line: This Host CAN NOT BE TRUSTED. TRAVELERS YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. You, like me may be taken in by the multitude of excellent reviews about the property and the host... And perhaps our review would have been different had we actually been put up in the Cube Hotel we booked, but we were not and not told so and our experience was HORRIBLE and the Host only made it worse. A nice little extra to scare us half to death was the only electrical outlet in the bedroom was hanging out of the wall in a completely unsafe manner. When we brought it up we were told we were over-reacting. Another not so pleasant experience was the common area toilet was not hooked up but the door was open and there was no sign. Unfortunately, we used that toilet as there was water in the bowl but it turned out there was no water in the tank and no water line hooked up... Disgusting and awful.

Everything could have been better starting with the host being honest. Even though we communicated clearly that we would be arriving late the gate guard treated us like criminals and interrogated us as to what we were doing there. He would only allow us in once he heard from the host.... What was the point of communicating our late arrival in advance if the host could not bother to inform the guard.

The friendliness of the staff. The bathroom was clean, hot shower was available. The area was safe and guarded. A little shop and restaurant are nearby.

The bed was not comfortable and broken and noisy, the power sockets were dangerously broken as well.
