We loved this beach house. It is a few blocks from the beach and steps from the main street. The house is charming with a wonderful downstairs for playing games, watching movies and a large dinner table for a big family or group. A great backyard with a firepit and many Adirondack chairs. It is a perfect beach house.

This house is great for a larger family or group of friends. There are several large tables for eating or playing games. You will likely find it a bit drafty in the winter but not exceptionally so. Our trip was dampened by a lack of hot water for the entire weekend, and confusing communication with the management In addition i will say that the lighting is sorta questionable at night, with a focus on bare bulb aesthetics over warm and bright lighting. The oven and stove are functional though the large burners on the stove are starting to flag; you'll have to turn them up pretty high to get your sauté going. The refrigerator is large and holds temperature. This was clearly a family beach house at some point. There is a delightful abundance of plates, serving dishes, pans, and flatware available. The bed in the downstairs bathroom is quite firm verging on rock hard. The backyard is huge and has a fire pit; in dryer weather it would be quite lovely. If you have any discomfort sitting in solid wood chairs, keep in mind that all of the table seating is high backed and unpadded. The backyard

The house was much older than it looked in pictures. Upstairs bathroom is in bad shape. Great location, only a block from beach.

We had a delightful time at Captain's corner, it's so close to the beach and the cute strip of Laneda Dr. Came with our two littles and met family friends with their littles. The bunk room had plenty for them to explore and play with. The community space was large with a separate table for puzzles and building ( a major win for the puzzlers in the group). Upon arrival the upstairs was not heated yet and there seemed to be just one vent to heat the whole floor. Vacasa was very responsive and brought over space heaters. They kept us cozy the whole weekend. Hope to come again!

We loved this quirky house. Interesting design with lots of room. The location is great - quick walk to Laneda and the beach. Lots of helpful things in the house - dishwasher, games, blankets, plenty of dishes and glasses, etc. The backyard is huge and great for hanging out.

This house is old but very nice with a lot of character and a great location right near the beach and downtown Manzanita. However, the keyless entry did not work at all and using the keys on the locks was like breaking into a safe! As a result, every time we left we had to struggle with the keys to get back in and even to lock the door to leave. There are some stains on the carpeting showing a lot of wear and tear but the place did have a lot of character. The table and chairs outside could use replacing as well. In general, I find that rentals managed by Vacasa are always somewhat disappointing.
