Situated in Emerald Isle, this attractive house for R 13,814 per night is a great option for your next trip. **Summer rentals require a seven night minimum, those bookings are Sunday to Sunday. Fall and winter stays require a three night minimum.** The Ultimate Dune is just what you're looking for. It's an oceanfront cottage on the wide side of the island with lots of space for your friends and family. Dune boasts its own private beachfront deck with a boardwalk down to the beach. The home in 2021 and have made several updates over the last two years. LIVING SPACES Since Dune was a duplex in the past, there are two living rooms. Each one has smart TVs equipped with Roku and Chromecast for streaming your favorite content. There's a PS4 and a Wii with games for rainy days too. Each side of the house also has a dining space for morning coffee, family feasts, and game nights. There is only one kitchen now. Dune is a cozy mix of midcentury pieces and up-cycled beachy furniture. 'Ultimately' we tried to give this one-level house a modern take on a late 60s surf shack. BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS There are five bedrooms, each with their own unique styling: 1. West queen suite: one queen, a small ensuite bathroom, and TV 2. West double: two twin beds and no TV 3. West king: one king bed, funky plant wallpaper, and TV 4. East queen suite: one queen bed, large ensuite bathroom, and TV 5. East king: one king bed and TV There is one full bathroom with a tub for kids on the west side and another full bathroom with a walk in shower on the east side hallway. KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked with the usual suspects - stainless steel pots and pans, nonstick pans, silverware, knives, blender, Kitchen Aid stand mixer pro, two drip coffee makers, French press, electric flat top griddle, tupperware, drink ware, utensils, sippy cups, infant spoons, and more. The pantry has a collection of herbs and spices for your dinners in. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION You're just a short trip away from restaurants, grocery stores (Publix and Food Lion), and the Emerald Isle bridge. The Bogue Inlet Pier and Surf's Up Grill are less than a mile away by way of the beach. LINENS Clean linens provided by a local company and are included for your stay (sheets, pillowcases, light quilts, towels, bathmats, and kitchen towels). All you need are your beach towels. And clothes. Don't forget clothes. FOR THE KIDS We've got a highchair, Baby Bjorn travel bed, baby monitor camera, and eating essentials if you're bringing a small child. You'll need to bring a mattress cover for the travel bed. BEACH EQUIPMENT For your convenience, we provide our guests with beach chairs (there are at least six), beach toys, a 52-quart Igloo cooIer that can hold 80 cans, and a Shibumi shade (check them out online!). EXPLORE NATURE - Emerald Isle Woods Park - Theodore Roosevelt Natural Area - Fort Macon State Park OTHER ATTRACTIONS - Bogue Inlet Fishing Pier & Surf's Up Grill - North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores - Golfin Dolphin - Lost treasure Golf & Raceway - Shepherd's BBQ HOUSE RULES & PRECAUTIONS - No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property inside or out - No pets allowed - Grills must be used 20 ft away from the house in the driveway - Do not leave sliding doors open for extended periods, the salt air destroys the furniture and lets the AC out - No temporary structures permitted on the decks (canopies, tents, hammocks, pools, or hot tubs) - Turn off foot wash after each use, otherwise water leaks can cause erosion under the house - Please use coasters under all beverages to protect the furniture - Must be 27 to book - Talk to us about events, parties, and large gatherings prior to booking for approval - This is a beautiful beach community, please be respectful to nature and wildlife - No littering, we only have this one planet - Additional fees and taxes may apply - For your safety, the house is equiped with two exterior security cameras to monitor the entrances. *Photos by Lighthouse Visuals

The house was much larger than we thought and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great location. We would definitely rent again. The only thing I did not like was that the town allows trucks to pull onto the beach to fish. Never quite understand why you would want trucks on a beautiful beach.

This house was perfect for our fall week at Emerald Isle. The large deck and easy access to the beach made it easy to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, and as much time as we wanted in the sand. The kitchen was spacious, well-stocked and well-designed — a pleasure for people who enjoy cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We spent a week at this property in late June. The location cannot be beat. Even with neighbors on both sides, the house was very quiet. Being a few steps from the beach was a huge perk. Melyssa responded to any question quickly. The layout of the house is great, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, and two separate living spaces. Nothing we couldn’t find in the kitchen for cooking. Thanks for a great stay!

Our family reunion of 3 brothers and 2 sisters and their spouses was truly perfect! We all flew or drive in from Florida, Kansas City, Buffalo and Pennsylvania. We highly recommend the Ultimate Dunes! Everyday we woke up and pinched ourselves while we looked out at the rolling waves of the ocean and sat on the deck or wandered down to the water just steps away. A little windy but with the Shibumi provided we sat in the shade regardless of the wind. The Shibumi was easy to put up and take down!!! Everyone had them! Even though it called for rain everyday we had no rain just awesome sunshine! Melyissa and her crew was truly there for us with any questions! The one service need we had was met quickly by her friendly maintenance helper Rob. The home is updated and tastefully decorated! The privacy of each bedroom and the multiple baths was so great. The two living rooms made for plenty of room to read a book or gather for some fun games! We bought express charades, played a few other games and laughed a lot! The kitchen was well stocked and gathering around the large dinner table inside or the patio picnic table overlooking the beach was fantastic. Enough said…we will be back!

Our stay at the vacation beach house 'The Ultimate Dune' was incredible! The ocean-front location made it so easy for our kids and grandkids to freely come and go to the beach. Endless days were spent going into the ocean, walking the beach and building castles in the sand. The house was very comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy family meals and entertain the kids. The hosts were very responsive and beautifully maintain their beach vacation home. Thank you!

Had a wonderful time at the Dune! The layout worked great for the whole family to be together and to spread out as needed. Everything was clean, beautifully decorated and the ocean views were outstanding. We look forward to staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ultimate Dune and Emerald Isle. The furnishings were top notch and the kitchen was fully stocked. We appreciated many of the finer appointments that the owner had taken to make our stay more comfortable. We could not have been closer to the ocean and while we didn't need it, there was an assortment of beach stuff at our disposal. Having stayed at various beach houses for nearly 20 years through vrbo, we generally don't stay at the same place twice, but we may make an exception next year for this one.

As they describe, this is a former duplex converted into one rental, with lots of recent renovations. As such there are some quirks, but it is a great place to stay. There is a large deck and picnic table that we enjoyed using. It has a great location, in a "neighborhood" rather than on a main drag. It is within walking distance of a pier, and close to shopping. We loved having two living rooms, one for adults and one for the kids. One of the bedrooms doesn't have a tv or dresser but we made due. There is a white couch in the living room that seems designed more for kids (with games and video games), but were afraid to let the kids in there due to the risk of stains. There was an issue with the dryer not working but the owner replaced it with a new dryer.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very clean and well-stocked. Melyssa was super responsive about questions. Not to mention, the oceanfront views can’t be beat. Emerald Isle is a small town and the beach never got too packed which was great. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and stay here again!

We had a fantastic week at the beach! The Ultimate Dune was a perfect place to gather three families with kids. The location is great and we loved being right on the beach. This was the most well stocked kitchen I've seen in a rental. It was nice having the separate living rooms for the kids and adults in the evenings. The house was very clean and we had no complaints.

Property was accurate to the listing and clean. We really enjoyed our time and being able to walk out directly onto the beach and have meals or coffee out on the back deck overlooking the view. The beach wasn’t crowded and the town was quaint and quiet. Melyssa was super communicative and helpful! Highly recommend!
