Sunset Thrille is one of the few two-level penthouses at The Sanctuary - a top-floor, four-bedroom condo with wonderful views, lovely furnishings, updated electronics, and two primary suites. Marvel at breathtaking sunsets each evening from one of the two large private balconies. The open floor plan includes a well-appointed kitchen with all the newest tools, including GE stainless steel appliances, a double coffee pot, a Keurig K-Cup coffee maker, and a blender, as well as granite countertops and ceramic floors. There's ample space to dine at the granite bar and the large dining table. The living room features a new sectional with plenty of space for evening relaxation, a 52-inch HD cable TV, a DVD/Blu-ray player, and a stereo with semi-surround sound. The private balcony offers great sunset views and new lounge furniture for all to enjoy. The primary suite upstairs has a four-poster bed, sliding glass doors that open to a private balcony, a 32-inch HD cable TV and DVD player, and a private bathroom with an all-granite walk-in shower and a separate jetted tub. The additional bedrooms have TVs and either private bathrooms or quick access to a hall bathroom. The Sanctuary offers wonderful on-site amenities, including three outdoor pools (open mid-May to mid-September), Viking grills, and two fitness centers. Adjacent to the complex is the 400-foot fishing pier at Little Island Park, which also includes a children’s playground; tennis, pickleball, basketball, and volleyball courts; and enough public parking for the unexpected visitor. Just down the road, you can explore Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge, which offers beach access and hiking trails galore. Things to Know The community pool is open annually from mid-May to mid-September for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion. The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 4. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
