There’s cozy seating right around a farmhouse-style fireplace and space for playing games as a family on the large coffee table. The kitchen (updated in 2022), features new appliances and granite countertops, as well as an eat-in area next to the living room. The master on the main level is a peaceful place to rest and includes a stunning renovated bathroom (updated in 2022) with a large shower. Upstairs you’ll find 2 bedrooms connected by a Jack & Jill bathroom, also renovated in 2022, perfect for families. One bedroom includes a queen bed, and the other has 1 twin bed and 1 trundle bed, offering sleeping for up to 3 people. The basement, which was completely updated in 2022, offers a beautiful gathering space. The foosball table converts to a pool table, air hockey table and shuffleboard table, offering hours of fun after a long day on the lake. It also includes two sets of bunk beds and pull-out sleeper couch for additional sleeping. The bedroom is tucked away and has a connecting bathroom. The outdoor deck overlooks the lake and offers a relaxing place to enjoy your morning coffee and share meals together as a family. As you walk down the stairs from the deck you’ll discover a large fire pit area, perfect for family storytelling and s’mores. There’s also a wooden swing close to the water, for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Lake Keowee. We have 4 kayaks and 2 kids’ paddle boards available for you to enjoy. The house is located in an area with little boat traffic, making it an ideal spot for kayaking and fishing. If you want to venture out on Lake Keowee, you’ll discover beautiful islands, waterfalls, and jumping rocks. There are also hiking trails nearby so you can plan your visit any time of year. And if you’re looking for place to attend a Clemson game, we’re just 20 minutes away. There are some finishing touches being added to the property and more pictures will be coming soon. House was clean and orderly. Wi-Fi was hard to maintain with several people using at one time. We were able to celebrate our Christmas and 70 th birthdays. Family had a great time. Host is exceptionally kind.

We rented this house for a weekend with family and friends. Our children were participating in the SC Bass Nation HS fishing tournament. House and accommodations were perfect for all of us. The boys especially loved the downstairs, kayaks, paddle boards, and Lily pad. Only issue is if you’re bring bass boats and trailers with you the driveway is extremely steep and you can’t get them down in there and pull them out easily due to the incline. We just put the boats in the water at a near by cove and then docked them. We had to park the trailers on the road. We would stay there again for sure. Owner was very responsive with all of our questions and answered promptly.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful, accommodating home! We were there for a mother-daughter retreat, and the downstairs space was perfect for the girls. Plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The kayaks were great to have, as well as the fire pit. Host was very responsive and helpful. Very close to stores, and we drove to Issaquena Falls for a short walk and beautiful view. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay! (One thing to note, the downstairs bathroom is in the bedroom, so anyone sleeping in the bunk room will need to go through the bedroom or upstairs to use the bathroom.)

A nice house to celebrate our 11 year old twins birthday! The dock was amazing and the kayaks and paddle boards and Lily pad were an awesome treat. We stayed in the water the whole weekend! The grandchildren caught a lot of fish from the kayaks and the shoreline. We did bring our boat and the driveway is steep! Also no ramp close by . Also a little way to open water suitable for skiing or tubing— lots of no wake zones. No reflection on the property—just probably would not bring boat if we stay here again. Overall a great experience. Host is very easy to work with.

This was a brief weekend trip with friends. Unfortunately, we did not get to spend as much time at the house as we would have liked since we were all visiting kids at Clemson and plans shifted. However, I would recommend this lake house for both short or longer stays. Very clean and spacious interior that has been nicely updated. Plenty of amenities in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with updated en suite baths. The dock is amazing and provides wonderful lake views from the quiet cove. Chas was very responsive when we reached out with questions. We would definitely stay again when we can enjoy the lake more.

This is such a great spot to really get away and enjoy family & friends on the water. Chas was an amazing host, very communicative and quick to respond. The house has everything we needed, and a quick ride to anything you might need. Highly recommend!

We had a great time here. The dock was very nice and the kid’s favorite spot. The house had plenty of space and the basement was a great hangout for the kids.

We had a fantastic time at this property. There were ten of us and six were kids. There was plenty of space for all of us. We had a great swimming dock on the lake.

Our family 7 adults 4 kids rented this house for a week for our yearly family vacation.
One thing not listed is the driveway, it’s STEEP. Nothing terrible, I asked if there was room for more than one boat trailer in the driveway and was told there was, which there is but we were never told the driveway was so steep and narrow, made backing trailers down slightly challenging. If we weren’t experienced we wouldn’t have backed them in.
The listing says the house is newly renovated…. The bathrooms are all updated. The basement has a sliding door with no curtains or anything for privacy with the lights on at night anyone can see in. The stairs to the basement are very steep! My 34 year old sister slipped the first day there and got pretty bruised up.
The house isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing but it was very comfortable, our family really enjoyed it.
The new dock is AMAZING we were able to catch a good bit of fish off the dock too. It would be nice if power was tan to the dock for some dock lights. We tied up a few times after dark and had to use flashlights.
The house really is in the perfect location, there are two waterfalls pretty close. We took the boat pretty close to both then paddle boarded the rest of the way.
The house also has some kayaks and things for everyone to use, they are in great condition all the kids had a blast with them!
Overall our stay was amazing, the house is fully stocked with all the things you could need. Will book again!

Our grandson from Boston was visiting so the rest of our family joined. Parking was more than adaquate as we had 15 people and one brought a boat. We enjoyed the deck and especially all the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The owner was easy to communicate with. The bedrooms were on the smaller side but we spent most of our time outdoors or in the living area.

We had a great weekend spent at this beautiful lakeside property with our sons and their families. The weather was beautiful Friday and Saturday and on Sunday when it was rainy we fished off the brand new two tiered deck and caught lots of fish. Canadian geese floated by each morning and late afternoon and the kids loved feeding them. The home is well stocked with water sport gear and the kitchen has everything you will need. Owners are very gracious!

We had a group of 8 staying at the house and we had plenty of room with some to spare. We were there for our daughter’s graduation from Clemson. It’s a 30 minute drive from Clemson and there were a couple of grocery stores close by. The house was clean and stocked with all our needs. The kitchen and bathrooms were recently updated. Beautiful shaded area outside with a swing overlooking the lake. Perfect place for coffee in the morning.
If you’re planning on grilling, it is not gas so coal and lighter fluid is needed.

My family of four traveled from the northeast to spend Christmas with my extended family and we stayed in Chas’s lovely home on the lake. The home was very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked and met all our cooking needs. My family joined us for a potluck at the home on Christmas Eve and the space easily and comfortably accommodated everyone, and the young kids enjoyed the game table in the basement. The lakeview was lovely and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Communication with Chas was easy, as was gaining access to the home. We would certainly stay there again. Thank you!

Our stay was great, scenery was beautiful being right on the water. Chas made everything easy and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was clean and newly renovated with plenty of space for our family and the kids loved being able to kayak.

This home was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for our stay. We had six adults and had ample space for sleeping and hanging out. The view is lovely and had it not rained so much while we were there, we definitely would have enjoyed the deck and outdoor fire pit. The owner was very attentive and checked in to ensure our stay was going well. We would definitely come back again.

Lovely site, relaxed and quiet with enough trees between us and the neighbors to feel secluded. We enjoyed sitting on the deck. The teens made full use of the dock, kayaks and Lilly pad for swimming in this quiet cove. The kitchen was well equipped. The WI-FI was adequate if we turned off some of our devices. Overall we enjoyed our stay

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL SETTING . DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GREAT THINGS ABOUT THIS PROPERTY THE HOUSE FIT THE 15 OF US WITH PLENTY OF ROOM TO SPREAD OUT. THE KIDS AND ADULTS ENJOYED THE KAYAKS AND PADDLE BOARDS AND THE ENDLESS THINGS TO DO ON THE LAKE AND WE ALL RELAXED AT NIGHT AROUND THE FIREPIT OR FIREPLACE. WILL DEFINITLY BE BACK . HIGHLY RECOMMEND

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! There was plenty of space, beds for everyone, and a plus is that it is right on the lake. We rented a boat from Lake Keowee Marina for the day and were able to dock it right at the house. However, if you don’t plan on renting a boat, the house is equipped with plenty of rafts and kayaks to keep you entertained. Chas was a great host and we would definitely visit again! Thanks!

Loved this property and location! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. The host was in contact and was available to answer any questions we had. The kids especially loved the water toys that were available to use. We would definitely visit again!

We could not have asked for a better experience. The proximity to Seneca was helpful for quick runs to the store to pick up things we forgot to bring with us and to grab dinner. We loved Peppinos and Los Amigo. The house provided the space we needed and offered great outdoor seating. The cove was perfect for floating! We put our boat in at a nearby boat ramp and enjoyed tubing, wakesurfing, and sunset boat rides. The owner was communicative and helpful throughout out stay.

This lake cottage was perfect for our gathering of multiple families! We loved how the home was set in the woods close to the water with easy access to the dock. The whole setting was cozy and made the experience feel unique, especially with the interior being a great mix of nice renovations and rustic cabin elements. The large back deck overlooking the water had plenty of seating and was a great flow from the living area of the home. The lake toys provided were a hit and it was easy to rent a pontoon boat from Lake Keowee Marina. This really was a sweet spot and I highly recommend it! Great communication with the host throughout as well.

Lovely family lake experience
This spot was perfect for our family gathering. Grandparents stayed on the main floor, a couple with a baby stayed upstairs (two bedrooms with a Jack and Jill bathroom), and a family of five stayed in the basement with kids in the bunk beds and parents in the adjacent bedroom with their own bathroom. We made use of the available kayaks, paddle boards, and floating mat off the dock, and everyone had so much fun in the lake. The lake was nice and warm (in July). The house was very clean and comfortable. There are cards and a few available board games. The kitchen was well-equipped for all the cooking we did. The house did not have extra trash bags, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, or laundry soap. I believe this was an oversight of the cleaning crew, and the host would have had them restock us if we noticed right away, but by the time we did, they were too far away, so we went to the store (only 5 minutes away) to get the supplies ourselves. I think they will probably do better at checking these supplies in the future. The host is great with communicating. We would stay here again.

My husband is super pro at backing our trailer so we were able to park it and unload it and then park it empty in the driveway during the stay. Plenty of drive way space for multiple vehicles and a trailer. We loaded at Cane Creek Boat Ramp which was nice and close by! This area of the lake had very low boat traffic and was great for letting our teens swim with ease with out constant supervision due to very calm water. Our kids loved the paddle boards and kayaks that were provided, they were in great shape looked new really! The home layout was extremely useful. The walk way to the dock was good not a lot of steps and not steep like other homes! My favorite part of the home was how clean the inside was, outside was very clean for being in a wooded area. Owner is extremely friendly and helpful and great with communication. Highly recommend this home and would definitely stay again!
