Welcome to Key Lime Cottage, a fully renovated 1926 gem located just blocks from Cape Charles beach, Central Park, and downtown. Your stay includes a complimentary golf cart for breezy exploration! We've lovingly restored this classic four-square home to combine historic charm with modern comfort. Sun-drenched rooms await, featuring a convenient powder room on the main floor and two full bathrooms upstairs—one with a soaking tub. Gather around a large dining table that seats 12 for family feasts, with an additional kids' table. Relax on sofas in a living room adorned with an eclectic book collection. Step outside to find ample seating on a spacious front porch equipped with ceiling fans for those warm days. The back deck offers a grill and dining setup, along with an outdoor shower for post-beach rinses. Sleep soundly in one of four inviting bedrooms. Choose from three rooms with queen beds outfitted with premium mattresses, or opt for a 'kids’ room' featuring a bunk bed and twin trundle, sleeping up to five little ones or two adults. And for outdoor adventure? Two kayaks and three bikes are yours to enjoy.

Great communication with Adam and he was very accommodating to our needs. It helped us to make a birthday celebration special! Well-appointed home for our holiday weekend getaway and the golf cart is an excellent plus! Our Goldens enjoyed the backyard. Close to the beach and downtown shopping and restaurants. Cape Charles never disapoints!

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home this past weekend while participating in the CBES bike ride. The home is charming and the property is extremely clean. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The golf cart is a great way to explore Cape Charles and we can't wait to return and use the kayaks. Many great amenities. I would highly recommend this property.

This was the perfect getaway during a very busy time at home. Key Lime Cottage is perfectly appointed with everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked, as are the bathrooms. The small sunporch is a perfect place to gate you pets, and the entire backyard is fenced. Key Lime Cottage is less than a two block from the beach, which is beautiful with munificent views. We will definitely be returning, hopefully for a longer stay. Our host, Adam was very accommodating and attentive.

We had a fabulous family week at Key Lime Cottage and even a tropical storm going through didn’t bother our stay. The house had everything we needed and we could even charge our EV. This was our favorite house we have stayed at in Cape Charles and the hosts were great!

This was our third trip to Cape Charles and hands down the best property we have booked there.
We chose this over other rentals because of: fenced yard, golf cart, proximity to the beach.
Cape Charles is a very walkable town, but if you are lugging beach equipment, kids and/or pets, having a golf cart makes life so much easier.
This house is also well stocked: bath/shower supplies, towels (oh the towels!), soap, detergent, pots/pans, etc. Just bring clothes and food - they have everything else.
The front porch was great for relaxing in between beach time. Outdoor shower (with warm water) was perfect for washing off our sandy feet.
Really no negatives to speak of, except that we couldn't stay longer!
Would 100% stay here again!

Loved everything about our week-long stay at Key Lime Cottage. Lovely, comfortable and clean home accommodated our family of 7.
Wonderful large dining table was perfect for gathering around and for art projects. Streamed movies in the comfy living room. All the beds were very comfortable, and our teens loved the bunk bed room! Enjoyed the front porch and little enclosed back room that opened to the back deck…nice little space for reading, resting, playing guitar.
We toured town with the golf cart, kayaked, wandered the beach, relaxed, stayed in and cooked more than going out because we just enjoyed being there!
We also enjoyed horseback riding along Cherrystone Creek, farmland and woods with Esperanza Riding Co, visiting the Kiptopeke Wildlife Refuge, and seeing wild ponies at Assateague Island.
Many thanks to Adam who was so helpful and communicative. We hope to come back sometime!

Our family loved everything about our Cape Charles stay. The house was clean, beautiful, conveniently located, and equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful time. The host greeted us when we were checking in, and communication was clear and consistent throughout the whole process. Our only regret was that we needed to leave. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely want to come back to Cape Charles and Key Lime Cottage.

This house has a very wonderful floor plan for a group of nine. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach and the front porch. The golf cart was a major plus as well as the ability to check-in early. We will definitely be back!

We are a group of retired Marketing teachers who taught hospitality and customer service concepts in our curriculum. Key Lime Cottage rated an A+ in all areas! The house is simply gorgeous and the accommodations outstanding. For a beach vacation you don’t have to bring anything but clothes, suntan lotion, and food. Everything is supplied for you, down to the beach towels. Adam is a delightful host and attentive to every detail. Our group has decided Key Lime Cottage will be our Cape Charles choice from now on.

Beautiful, historic home in an extremely quiet location that is also close to the beach in one direction and restaurants and shops in another.
There were just two of us, so we only used one bedroom, the kitchen, the porch, backyard deck and living area, but plenty of room for larger groups without being crowded. Furnishings were comfortable, appliances were new (loved the refrigerator), porch was great for coffee in the morning or playing cards in the afternoon.
We only used it twice, but the golf cart seemed new and worked well, other than that we walked to everything. Nice selection of games and books. The shed had plenty of beach supplies and we used a couple of the beach chairs but didn't get a chance to play cornhole.
As far as local places, our favorites were Kelly's and Table and Tonic (one is an Irish pub and the other a shop with a great selection of cocktail bitters and a great crab bloody mary mix). The Shanty, AJ's, Deadrise Pizza, and Cape Charles Brewery were also awesome. We loved the home and the town and hope to be back again soon!

We loved the Key Lime Cottage. It had everything we needed, kayaks, golf cart, bikes! Excellent location- close to beach, central park (pickle ball court, soccer fields, and playground) and "downtown" CC which has restaurants, shops, distillery, etc.
We would love to stay again!

Great house in a great location. We enjoyed our short stay in Cape Charles. The house is walking distance to the beach and the shops. Spacious inside and nicely decorated. We will definitely rent again. The only thing I would want others to know is that there are not any extras that you sometimes find in other rentals like cooking oil or pam spray in the kitchen, sugar, spices etc. If you bring something to cook you need to bring everything you’ll need for it. There is also no shampoo or conditioner or anything like that although every bathroom did have liquid hand soap. These are by no means deal breakers but just something to know. My husband and I both forgot shampoo but it was a quick trip to the nearby pharmacy to get a trial size. We will definitely rent here again but be super sure we have everything we need.

We had a short stay in Cape Charles and booked The Key Lime Cottage. It was spacious and great proximity to the park, bay and downtown. Adam was an amazing host and gave us numerous recommendations for places to eat during our stay. Check in and check out were seamless. Adam was very responsive to any questions and checked in with us to make sure everything was up to par. I would definitely recommend booking the Key Lime Cottage for your stay in Cape Charles.

The property was perfect upon arrival. The kitchen had an ample amount of everything you would need for a week long vacation. Well appointed house, with a fenced in back yard for our dog! This rental came with a cart rental. The cart needed service and the owner brought their personal cart so we would have a seemless vacation! Highly recommend this property and we will be back!

The home was better than pictured ! there were many places to socialize , and to get away to read a book. Excellent outdoor spaces as well ,including the huge front porch. The home is very close to the waterfront and shops ,so ,very convenient ! We really enjoyed having the use of the golf cart and bikes as well. Highly recommend this property.

We are now hooked on Cape Charles and it all started with our stay at the Key Lime Cottage. From the time we walked in we felt welcomed and at home. It had more than we ever needed! Best stocked kitchen of anywhere I have ever stayed and the home decor was just perfect and decorated for fall. The beautiful front porch allowed us relaxation and time with family. We could look down the street and see the dunes of the bay...just perfect! Adam was a wonderful host and communicator. I highly recommend this beautiful home!

This was our first visit to Cape Charles and the Key Lime Cottage was a perfect introduction to the convenience and walkability of this very calm and peaceful coastal town. The cottage was clean and well furnished and welcoming. The beds that we used were comfortable with good linens The cottage is also pet friendly with a fenced back yard which worked very well for us. The location was perfectly situated with easy walks to the beach, the town center and the main town park. And, we enjoyed using the golf cart. Overall, an excellent option for a Cape Charles stay!

This property was perfect for our first visit to the charming town of Cape Charles. Our host greeted us upon arrival and was available with
suggestions for local dining, etc. The house was very clean with a well
stocked kitchen. The mattresses on the beds were comfortable with all newly renovated baths. The golf cart and bikes that were included made it so easy and fun to get to the beach and restaurants.
We would certainly recommend this rental to our family and friends.

Keylime Cottage was exactly as advertised. It was close to the beach with all the necessary amenities without all the packing. Adam was an excellent host and we will rent/recommend the property again! Cape Charles is the perfect get away!

Great communication with Adam through the whole rental process👍...beautiful cozy and equipped with everything needed, the kitchen so warming we cooked all our meals in and that's a plus. Looking forward to booking this home on next year for we have a Birthday Celebration at the Cape in 2023...future travelers you are going to love the Key Lime Cottage just as we did.

We enjoyed a long weekend here. It was perfect for Live music at a local park 2 blocks away. The beach was also close by. Shops were a nice stroll or golf cart ride away.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Lime Cottage with our friends and their kids! Just a few blocks from the beach, it was so easy to walk down in the morning. The house was clean and well stocked, and we couldn’t have been happier!
