Tucked away in a scenic residential neighborhood, this elegant abode is flanked by two empty lots, providing plenty of privacy. Hike the North Shore National Recreation Trail or stroll and play at Mackay Park. Head to Lake Arrowhead Village for waterfront shopping and dining, or bike, rock climb, and zip line at Skypark at Santa's Village. Grill and dine alfresco on the wraparound deck as you take in filtered views of Papoose Lake. Play a game of foosball in the great room, and then light the outdoor gas firepit and finish the day under the stars. The great room features vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows to let in beautiful natural light. The room has two queen sofa beds, a smart TV, and a stone-trimmed gas fireplace. Doors open to the side deck. The reading nook is the perfect place for a quiet moment. Prepare delicious meals in the spacious kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances. The dining table offers seating along with the kitchen bar. The primary bedroom has a California king bed, a TV, and a gas fireplace. Extra perks include a laundry room with a washer/dryer and a sink. The home also has an automatic backup generator and a Tesla charger. THINGS TO KNOW The window above the sliding doors in the great room is free of window coverings, so the sofa bed receives some natural morning light. Parties are not allowed. Quiet hours are 10 pm -7 am - no outdoor activities after 10 pm. Citations will be issued for noise disturbances and exceeding the occupancy and parking limits. Refunds will not be granted due to eviction. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Security camera details: There is one camera in the front facing the driveway. There is one camera in the back facing away from the deck. There is one camera on the side of the home, facing the generator. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. We couldn't believe how spacious the place was when we arrived—it blew away all our expectations! It's easily one of the best cabins we've ever stayed in, and even our furry friend gave it a big thumbs (or paws) up! Love the high ceiling. The rooms were incredibly cozy, and the kids absolutely adored the bunk bed. The snowfall during our stay made the view from those big windows even more breathtaking! The check-in and check-out were a breeze, which just added to what was already an amazing experience.

The main room is massive and impressive, but still cozy. Toiletries included was a nice touch, the fenced yard was super helpful for the pups, and the neighborhood was fun for dog walkies.

Great home, very well kept. Supplied nicely with all kitchen needs. Great patio, nice location, quiet. Furnished nicely, loved the fireplace and outdoor fire table. AC and heat worked well. Definitely want to come back. Now for the downside. Did not appreciate being shook down for extra money for a late check out. It felt like a used car salesman technique from the 1970"s. I'm 62 my wife is 52, in a combined 114 years of life traveling the world i have never seen a 10 am check out ANYWHERE. I have a text that states "standard check out is 1400 hours if you'd like a copy. Just add the cost up front and let the client decide. Please refund that cost and absolutely 5 stars.

Our stay at this property was wonderful. This is now one of my favorite places to stay, Great for a family gathering. Plenty of open space. Beautiful deck with a view of the lake. BBQ worked great as well as fire pit. Great area for dogs. Definitely will be booking this place again.

I have nothing but great things to say about this property! It was clean, dog friendly, warm, welcoming and close to everything we wanted to do. This home really sets the standard for all other rentals. The joy of this home was found in the small details….extra pillows and blankets, really comfortable beds and bedding, the doggie door, the safe and enclosed yard, and the window panes on the balcony so you can see your dogs and kids in the yard. Not to mention, the house was IMMACULATE! Not one spider or crawler (which is hard to do in the mountains). Would 100% stay here again and recommend this rental to anyone!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home!
The handle on the screen door to the deck is broken and the edges are sharp so this needs to be fixed immediately. Also, the lot next door has started on its project, so we had to listen to chainsaws cutting trees in the morning which took away from our peace and quiet. However, we enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings and enjoying the beautiful views. This is a home we would come back to!

Just to address it, this is a beautiful big lake house -it is gorgeous. My rating comes from my experience, as it's listed as a family place /has beds for kids and toys and such, I feel I must point out a few things: 1)the guard rail on the back deck is weak and wiggles a lot 2) we found a sharp chunk of glass on the floor on the entryway 3) almost all of the chain locks were broken and some of the door handles were in poor shape 4) I contacted Vacasa about needing the code for the alarm system that started going off (I think it tried to arm but it had a zone issue we couldn't ever locate) but I never heard back from them on it. The code was on the Vacasa site, but I didn't find that out until we checked out, from the link they sent for us to check out. I should've checked out the Vacasa site.
Side note: the ceiling fan in the master bedroom shakes so badly we didn't want to use the fan in case it fell. Someone who lived there with it could claim it always does that and it's secure, but as a guest I couldn't be familiar with it enough to know for sure.
Overall though, LOVELY house, the fussball table was so fun that we want our own now, the deck and view were absolutely beautiful and so nice to frequent. The town is adorable and loved the downtown area, the neighborhood was way quieter than I am used to.
By the way if those issues above were fixed, we would love to visit again next year and potentially with our children too this time so, hope to see this place soar!

The house is big, super clean. Kitchen is fully equipped to host a few dozen people and cook up a storm!
Only downside is that the house doesn't come with a permit to access the lake so not much to do on a very hot day.
Management company were very communicative.

This was our second stay at the property. One of the best in lake arrowhead for a few reasons I my opinion.
Driveway is very flat and easy to enter, home is largely single story which my family prefers with our 2 young children. Huge bright windows and open space inside.
My children love the toys there and my 3yo always is asking to go back.
Super clean house, great location.

We love this cabin! This is our 2nd year staying here for Thanksgiving. Very impressed with how clean this place is. Especially being pet friendly! We love how the kitchen opens to the great room and everyone can be together. The massive windows allow for an amazing view, and the fireplace makes it warm and cozy. Fun foosball table that we played often. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We had family photos taken while we were in the area and the master bath was great to get ready in. Nice bright lighting, a convenient make up mirror and a good quality blow dryer! Cabin is located close to Lake arrowhead Village which has everything you need. Stater brothers, CVS, and lots of great places to eat! Absolutely recommend this place!

This is a comfortable, clean, and well appointed mountain home close to Lake Arrowhead Village. Very restful and pleasant for fall colors, which we enjoyed for an entire week.
Appreciated attention to detail, including welcoming bottle of wine and dog blanket! You will need to plan to use your streaming apps for the television, which was not clear to us ahead of time, based on the Vacasa web link. Also, external trash bins were almost all full--fortunately we saw the trash trucks coming and were able to put the trash cans out in time to get them emptied.

I usually don't write reviews but I have to with this one. The cabin was absolutely spectacular. If we didn't venture out and instead stayed the whole weekend inside the cabin, that would have been a perfect vacation in itself. The cabin is warm, homey, and CLEAN. It has so many useful amenities including a Tesla charger and washer and dryer. Plenty of room for 4+ guests. While we don't have a dog, it's very dog friendly and has a wonderful fenced-in yard. I would love to go back again - just for the cabin!

Although this house was beautiful, you can’t get to it in a snowstorm without a four wheel vehicle and snow tires. This street is not plowed during a snowstorm and is inaccessible.We were sitting in the driveway as the storm started at 2:00pm, but had been denied early entry-so we went down to the town center to kill two hours until 4:00 when we could check in.When we attempted to return to the property, we could not get back up the road to the property. A neighbor pulled us out of the road and allowed us to park in his driveway. He gave us a ride to the property over a mile from his house.We were without our vehicles and a majority of our belongings until late The second day.The Turnkey Management Company was unsympathetic to our situation and really seemed unfamiliar with the property and the hazards associated with this rental in general.This was our worst trip ever!

Property was wonderful. Turnkey has 10am check out, $40 for late checkout, if available. Not very customer friendly. Tree views from all windows, quiet, Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, quality patio furniture and bbq.

When staying away from home you expect to need something...this home is clean, well stocked with Quality linens, and plenty of them. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of place settings, cups, glasses, wine glasses, small kitchen appliances and pots and pans. Views are wonderful, windows allow 180 degree view...feeling like you are in a tree house. Definitely will be a return visitor.

The perfect location for 10 days in the local mountains. Easy, level and protected parking for 3 cars and an excellent 2 + 2 home with high end appointments, a huge Great Room and multiple decks. Convenient Cedar Glen location on a fenced lot with no immediate neighbors… Forest and water (Papoose Lake) views. A few burned out bulbs but the home was beautifully furnished, VERY clean and dog friendly. Local Vacasa support came out to change bulbs and delivered bbq propane, very efficient. Would recommend highly!!!

The towels were plush, big windows, the back view was beautiful. We even saw the lake one the back patio. Weather was a bit hot and couldn’t get the air conditioner to start.

Beautiful Home! Not your typical rental property and especially one that allows good dogs. Great beds, fabulous sheets, beautiful views and great location! We could have stayed months not just 3 weeks! Set up to relax or entertain this home has everything. Great towels, all the dishes and glassware one could ask for. Very clean !!

Wonderful Relaxing Home
We absolutely loved the home, it was very clean and had everything we needed to make a perfect weekend getaway. We took our dog and it was great to find a dog park just up the street. The balcony allows you to relax, with view of the dam and see beautiful wildlife. The Neighbors were very friendly as well. There were a few things that could be fixed, 1) The A/C in the master bedroom made a loud noise, so we had to keep the bedroom window open, that goodness the weather permitted, the propane tanks on the deck for BBQ were a little low, we had to use the same one to grill and light up the fire pit. The Patio furniture is a bit worn out and not clean, the kitchen fridge wasn't getting cold enough, yet didn't spoil our food, so all in all it was good.

The property itself was beautiful, but if Turnkey is handling the property-I will not bother booking another such property.
We were denied an early check in, which meant we arrived in the middle of a snowstorm and unable to reach the property-even with chains. Turnkey is based in Florida and had no one local that could assist us.
We were stranded in our vehicles, kids, dog and all-unable to reach our destination. If Turnkey was local and aware of the storm and that the street does not get paved-they could have allowed us into the location at 2:00pm, instead of 4:00pm.
A total stranger towed us out of the middle of the street, loaded us up-kids, dogs, suitcases and all and delivered us to our destination, but not until 7:00pm.
We had to leave one car in his driveway and the second parked at a gas station down the main highway.
The Turnkey Company was I compassionate and delivered the worst customer service I have ever experienced with VRBO.
We had a horrible time!
