Enjoy a lake get-away with your family! This beautiful home on Lake Keowee has spectacular views of the lake from the screened back porch with fire place (there are a total of 3 wood-burning fire places in the home!) Firewood is NOT included. There is plenty of room for your family and guests with 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. While you are secluded from the hustle and bustle, both Clemson and Seneca are just a short 15min drive away. The home includes a dock for you to bring your boat!

We really enjoyed our stay - 8 adults (four couples) with kids at Clemson for family weekend. It was an easy 30 minute drive to campus. It was clean and well-appointed. We will definitely consider staying here again!

A great family vacation with our 4 grandchildren. We rented a beautiful new Pontoon and golf cart ( you need a golf cart) from Stars and Stripes Boat and RV rental in Pickens, SC. Talk to Floyd! The grade to the dock is steep, owners have a cart in garage, nice cart path to the waters edge.

House is beautiful, well laid out and very clean. Location is convenient, just a quick run to Publix or Walmart if you need any supplies while there. We’ve decided screened in porches are a must for us and we spent a lot of time hanging there for coffee in the morning and games in the evening. The path to the dock is steep but there are plenty of pretty spots to pause on the way back up to the house. We’ve also experienced houses with scary steep driveways and limited parking. This house has great parking for easy in/out and unloading/loading cars. Overall we had a great stay.

The floor plan was quite comfortable: 2 kings, 2 queens and 2 twins with 4/5 baths made for ease with a large group. We cooked in ......had a small problem with the broiler in the oven: the grill worked well......the screened in porch got a lot of use.....good view of the lake/sunsets....etc. convenience of kayaks enhanced the fun.

Property was perfect for our family gathering. Very clean, spacious, and terrific amenities. We took advantage of the kayaks and paddleboard that were available, as well as the ping pong and foosball tables. Made for lots of fun and great memories. As other reviewers mentioned, the slope to/from the house to the lake is extremely steep, so we took extra caution with my 80+ father navigating.

Stayed for Christmas. Our parents, 5 adult children and 2 grands. The house was more than adequate sized for our large group. The fireplace was wonderful to sit by in the evenings and although it was a hike down, it was so beautiful to sit on the dock and take pictures of the babies. The property manager and owner were very accommodating and responded quickly to our questions. We also enjoyed exploring nearby town. It was the perfect stay and easily the best choice I’ve made from Vrbo.

New home, sleek and clean, had all the amenities we needed. Screened porch wonderful for morning coffee and evening cocktail. Walk to lake and back steep, but we were able to manage. Would recommend anyone with very young mobile children or difficulty with exertion to contact property manager before choosing this property. We do find steep access to lakes in area not to be unusual, so I would inquire with any rental. Property manager worked with owner for any needs we had and resolved our questions. Commute to Clemson approximately 30min.

Great very large house. Plenty of space and great house. Very nice dock.
WiFi worked. Beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. As far as the house goes it’s one of the best VRBO we’ve had.
The best feature was the huge screened porch. We spent a lot of hours on the porch.
The only negatives for this place is lots of construction going on so was pretty noisy some of the time. Not terrible but definitely more peaceful when no construction.
Also if you rent a boat like we did just know before you get out to open water you have to go around a sand bar. There is a note in the house which warns you. Lake level was low when we visited and shallow part ranged between 2.5’ and 3.5’. It was a little troubling since our rental told us we needed 4’ of water but we never hit bottom.

The house was beautiful and we really enjoyed our stay. I just wish the property owner would have told us about the shallow water, the extremely shallow water, in the cove where the house is located. We didn’t even get to enjoy the privileges of having the dock, due to the water being so shallow and muddy. We didn’t get to swim from the dock, fish or anything. This is my only complaint, as the house is new and very beautiful and has potential for beautiful view of the lake.

Friends getaway
Nice home, in a newer development. It was spacious for 4 couples, the screened in deck was perfect to hang out or relax when we were not down at lake. Just beware the path back up from dock has a large incline towards the house and could be challenging even for us fit ones! Overall we enjoyed our time.

Perfect lake house for a getaway. Quiet cove, spacious house with everything we needed for our weekend.

Very nice house with great layout for our girls and their spouses and our grandchildren. Be aware that the incline from the house to the lake is doable but pretty steep which could be a problem for some people.
