Allow yourself to be born again after soaking in the scenes of palm tree covered oceans, that come with a dip in either the 2nd story pool or spa (no jets). When you’ve finished, retire to the 1000 sqft. master captains quarters and find that the stunning views go along with you. A bed fit for a king, marble bathroom with tub, large shower, and water closet all constitute the 2nd story master suite. Head down stairs and find panoramic ocean views that encompass the first floor living area. As well as a fully stocked kitchen & dining room that can provide for the entire family. Washer & dryer are also located on this floor. Lastly but not least, find yourself enjoying a cocktail at the 3rd floor bar, overlooking the captivating bay waters. You may also enjoy some time at the card table, play a game of billiards, or lounge watching television in the home’s second living area. Boasting over 4,400 sqft of interior living, and just under 17,000 sqft of property, you won't ever feel cramped in this enchanted keys villa. The home features 4 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, an expansive loft & sleeps 10 comfortably. We were a family of 8 ranging in age from not quite 3 to 65. The home had plenty of room for all of us. The pool and hot tub were used several times. We loved hanging out on the beach in the backyard. From the dock we witnessed wonderful sunsets, dolphins playing, nurse sharks,rays, lobsters, and lots of other fish.We would highly recommend this property for a group.

We were able to enjoy as a family this excellent property with many facilities including the dock, but the best of all was the communication with the owner, who was aware of all our needs. 100% recommended.

It was super clean and comfortable. It was my mom and dad, brother, my spouse and my 4 and 5 yr olds. The property is beautiful and spacious. we felt home while on holiday. They were also very professional and nice. Well be back.

We stayed here with family for about a week. The home was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the views were incredible. The boys loved fishing and snorkeling at the dock. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We enjoyed our stay at the home very clean, beautiful place to rest and relax. And obviously go fishing. The best part was the home and the pier or dock. Every night we enjoyed our sunsets on the dock looking out and doing a little pier fishing and relaxing. I would recommend for anyone for a great place to stay.

Outstanding property and location for 5 brothers from different States to get together and enjoy the Florida Keys. Plenty of room for sleeping, cooking and relaxing. Amazing dock/pier for fishing, swimming and watching sunsets! Looking forward to returning.

The Buchanan Layton house was absolutely amazing! The mid-Keys location is great and the view straight out the back windows is stunning! Bert was great to work with and communicated clearly and concisely. You don't even need to leave the property for great snorkeling as the end of the private dock has lionfish, mangrove snapper, parrotfish, pufferfish, lobsters, crab, and many more. House was clean and well maintained and the pictures are what you get!

The house was a real gem beating our expectations. Moreover the dock was exceptional with fantastic Florida sunsets. We spotted a small nurse shark sleeping at the base. My only hesitation about posting a positive review is that our family plans on vacationing in this home annually. I do not want availability to become a problem. The property management was first rate and it was clear that they are reinvesting in the property to maintain the quality.

4 couples enjoyed this property. Only issue was only 3 bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms. One 2nd floor bedroom had bathroom on 1st floor.

The Layton House is awesome beyond words!!
The whole house is beautiful, and very clean!!
The master suite is beautiful and big!! With Amazing views of the ocean and pool. The pool is right out of the master suite doors and was the perfect size for us, and the hot tub was very nice also!!
The third floor/game room is very nice and fun with the pool table and games!
We snorkeled off the dock and saw fish, lobsters, conk, and even had a manatee with pup, swim right by the end of the dock!
All in All, this was probably the favorite of places we’ve ever been and definitely the most relaxing!!!

This property did not disappoint. Even better than expected. We had excellent and almost instantaneous communication with our host. We enjoyed the location, space, water, dock, snorkeling, fishing, sea life spotting, the pool, sunrise and sunset and all the views…I could go on and on. We also rented paddle boards and kayaks and so glad we did because of all the other sea life we were able to get close to. The property felt secluded and was well manicured. Beds were comfy. Our family had the best time and even though we went on a few excursions we really didn’t need to leave as this property has it all. Would definitely love to stay again.

Simply breathtaking location on Long Key in Layton, FL. The Buchanan Layton Home was ideal for our family of 5 adults and 10 month old granddaughter. Every day of our 6 night stay was wonderful which included boating, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking and more. We look forward to a return trip as soon as possible.

This property was amazing! The privacy was exactly as expected and we felt like we had our own island to ourselves. The home was lovely and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a better location and accommodation.

It is simply not possible for my lady and I to over-state how remarkably wonderful our entire stay was there on this exquisite property! From the unreal, completely private 2nd floor pool and hot tub, located just outside the unbelievably spacious and gorgeous master bedroom, which overlooks the ocean…to the unreal dock that extends out into the ocean for what seemed to be a few miles…to the living room that provided the most beautiful and peaceful escape each morning over breakfast, gazing at the most incredible ocean view (which just so happens to span an entire wall made of glass)…to the pool table on the 3rd floor, which gave us each an opportunity to play a game, with each other, that we never normally have an opportunity to play in our busy lives…we spent our 6 days there, by ourselves, in this wondrous place (that would easily fit several families), wondering how it would be possible to find a more perfect retreat anywhere else in the keys (or the country for that matter)?!? And the most realistic answer we both will share with you is…as far as we are concerned…we truly would not expect to!
THIS PLACE was SIMPLY —-> THAT EXTRAORDINARY!
We want to personally thank Roberto for making our stay (which flew by in a few blinks of our eyes) completely worry free…and I wanted to personally thank the lovely owner of this house, whom I had the privilege of meeting there during our stay! (Pssst - Please always keep me in mind what I mentioned when we spoke…if for some reason in the future (even 20 years from now), you ever decide to sell this incredible place…please know that I will drop whatever I am doing at that time to charter a plane minutes later, to meet you there to buy it! And I absolutely mean that! :) ).
And…to everyone else reading this…in case you are wondering…this extraordinary place was absolutely worth every penny…and then some!!!

We've come to Layton to celebrate a birthday and the property was fantastic. The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially sunsets. There is both a pier to swim in the ocean and a deep pool to enjoy in the house. The bedrooms were large, the game room had excellent pool table, the kitchen had everything we needed and AC was working great. We could not have asked for a better stay,
